Excellent bruschetta, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The value for money is truly remarkable. The welcome is warm and friendly. As a bonus, the view of Matera Cathedral is simply magnificent. A truly wonderful place!

Delicious sandwiches at good prices

This place is tucked out of the way and only open for a short period each day, but it's absolutely fantastic. The guy running it was brilliant, the food and drink selection are (purposely) small but delivered well, prices are reasonable.

Get one of the sandwiches, they're all amazing, though #4 was our favorite. Caprese had local capers on top of it, but otherwise was just fine/mediocre, I don't think I'd get it again (you want Caprese, go to Capri). Still a 5 stars for the clever and delicious sandwiches and meats. You're in Matera, go local. You won't regret it here! A glass of primitivo wine goes wonderfully with any of the selections

We discovered it by chance in a side street and stopped by for a short break. The deli items were quite select and delicious; we especially liked the bread 😊 The decor and seating area of ​​the place were also very pleasant and thoughtful. The owner was also very attentive and meticulous. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Very tasty sandwiches, good beer, typical Italian location. I recommend the BUCCE MATERANE cookies, they are a kind of local macarons, very tasty.
