05/10/2025: Absolutely amazing. The florentine steak was so soft and juicy, and the pork with roasted potatoes, very tasty, everything was cooked immaculately. The waiter and staff very friendly and attentive, we will be revisiting again in a couple days before we leave! 5 stars all around, from Australia we have not had the pleasure of eating meat like this. Highly recommend, expensive but well worth it and massive portions!

03/10/2025: Very good, the Florentine beef I ordered was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The uncle who received me was also very good at serving me.

04/10/2025: As you can tell from the stars assigned, I'd say the atmosphere is excellent, quiet, and the walls are painted in Old England style. Excellent food. The cured meat appetizers were top-notch. We had two different types of steaks; one was good, the other was better. Dessert: tiramisu and vermouth biscotti were excellent. A perfect pass. If I ever pass through this area again, this will be a must-visit.

26/09/2025: When I'm craving a good steak, there's no need to think twice: "La Panacea" is the perfect place to feel right at home. Everything made here is the result of passion and hard work, but it's worth it! I'm happy I took my childhood friends to La Panacea for a wonderful evening, recounting our experiences as teenagers, the aftermath, and laughing a lot over a good steak, mushrooms, and a bottle of red wine!

07/10/2025: I dined at this steakhouse for the first time last weekend after having tried to book several times in the past without success. After filling out a form with my details—the place is a club—I was welcomed and seated by the kind and professional staff. The formula is that of a single menu consisting of Florentine steak served rare, sliced ​​on a hot stone cutting board so that it can be cooked further if desired, and side dishes of baked potatoes, grilled vegetables, and beans, as well as warm homemade focaccia. The wine list is decent, of good quality and variety; strangely, the Ripasso and, especially, the Amarone were not included. I found the wine to be of good quality, as were the side dishes. The desserts were also good, and finally, the barrique grappa, the bitters, and the coffee. The total cost for 4 people, including 2 bottles of wine for about €60, was €55 per person. Good value for money.

27/07/2025: We came to this restaurant with friends, intrigued by the photos and reviews. A preface: It's suitable only for lovers of authentic Tuscan Florentine steak. In fact, it offers a fixed menu: a small entrée with a taste of excellent Panzanella, followed by Tuscan appetizers, some of which have been tastefully and refinedly reinterpreted, a grilled Florentine steak (calculated at 600g per person, so since there were four of us, the total weight was approximately 2.4 kg), side dishes of roast potatoes, cannellini beans, mixed salad, and, to finish, cantuccini biscuits and brigidini biscuits with Vin Santo. The wine list is extensive, ranging from a Chianti in a flask to the most sophisticated Italian reds (and beyond). The restaurant is stunning, elegant yet very welcoming. The owner and staff are highly knowledgeable and particularly friendly and welcoming. In short, we had an excellent Sunday lunch. One thing the owner is keen to point out during his quick introduction: the (exposed) fireplace uses only oak wood, no other wood, much less charcoal or similar. Furthermore, since the restaurant opened in 2009, the grill has only cooked Florentine steaks, no other meat! Finally, the price: all this quality (and abundance) at the fixed price of €50 per person, excluding wine. We spent €113.50 per couple. Price/quality/service ratio: excellent.

27/07/2025: A time-tested format, a fixed menu with Tuscan appetizers, Florentine steak, side dishes, and desserts for a total of €50 per person. The appetizers and side dishes were excellent and plentiful. The meat was good, but not as excellent as I remembered the last few times I came, which is why I didn't give it the highest rating. Obviously, this is just my personal preference, as I found it overcooked and therefore slightly tough on the outside. Excellent service.

08/09/2025: We've been here a few times over the years, but not for the last seven years because we've gone somewhere else on vacation. It's lovely to dine in the beautiful garden. The menu has changed slightly over the years, but the food is still delicious. The steak Fiorentina was perfect. Delicious dishes and wine, friendly staff, and the tiramisu was still just as we discovered it there years ago: fantastic!! Grazie!

13/09/2025: I'm returning to this restaurant on Lungarno Torrigiani after at least 10 years since my last visit. They told me something had changed, but I was pleased to find that everything has remained the same. The menu features truly sophisticated options, mostly meat-based (they have top-quality meat), but the menu is broad and encompasses a variety of flavors. The Chianina sushi is definitely recommended. Attentive and attentive service in a truly jaw-dropping location: eating with a view of the Arnolfo Tower...priceless!

10/08/2025: We stayed at the property from August 4th to 8th and had a wonderful time. The location is enchanting, surrounded by nature and with a panoramic view of the city. Everything was very well-kept and clean, the breakfast was good, and the restaurant's food was excellent.

11/10/2025: The best option ever! We left Pisa for Florence and were starving. The restaurant was packed until 9 p.m., and the rest of the restaurants open after 7 p.m. We had to wait about two hours :( . We bought the best cheeses, cured hams, and salami, as well as bread and pickles, and we made our own. The extremely friendly owner gave us the best recommendations, and we grabbed a quick bite to eat before we got back on our way. Great value and incredibly delicious! Thanks for existing!

07/10/2025: A restaurant in the heart of Viareggio, with a predominantly meat-based menu, although there's a small selection of fish. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a wide selection of wines displayed on the walls and an open kitchen. We dined in the cellar for a birthday party and it was a wonderful experience. We started with a selection of excellent appetizers, then continued with the highlight, a delicious Chianina steak and melt-in-the-mouth pork ribs cooked in beer. The wine list is excellent, with a focus on Tuscan wines, and we were able to choose from a variety of labels. Everything was perfect, and the price was perfectly in line with what we ate and drank. Highly recommended.

05/10/2025: We were lucky to get a table for dinner on our last night in town. The food was very well cooked, well presented, delicious and with the outstanding service and great atmosphere, we would highly recommend a visit. If steak is your thing, Amaro Braciera is your place.

09/09/2025: Dinner on August 15th. There were lots of people around and the Steak Festival, but since it was crazy, we opted for this trattoria. They welcomed us, letting us come back half an hour later (which was late for them) and finding us a table, even though we hadn't booked. They were very kind and welcoming. We opted for the meat, which was delicious. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

14/09/2025: It's the perfect place to eat game, mushrooms, and more. Among the first courses, I recommend the amberjack pasta made with chestnut flour and seasoned with your choice of sauce. I chose mushrooms, which was very good. A second course presented in an original way is the grilled wild boar and pork skewer. Try it. The location is obviously rustic, surrounded by greenery, but I found the walls covered with the heads of stuffed wild boar, deer, and pheasants that sacrificed themselves to grace the tables to be somewhat questionable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are definitely fair.
