12/09/2025: The food at this restaurant lives up to its name perfectly. The flavors are authentic, the portions generous. Don't be afraid to split a mixed appetizer between two people or choose just one main course each and split the portions with your companion. The outdoor tables under the trellis are a sweet treat and a pleasant experience. The service isn't particularly fast, but it's not slow either. For €20, you can leave your table feeling full.

22/09/2025: This was one of the restaurants I found after searching for a place to eat delicious Fiorentina. The quality of the meat and ingredients were good, but the seasoning was a bit off. The appetizer platter was served in microscopic portions, which is unexpected given the price, and even for one person, it was a little too small. The main meat dish was cooked to perfection, but the pork was a little dry. Personally, I like it, but generally speaking, it lacked juiciness. The sauce that came with the beef was delicious, but be careful as it can leave you feeling bloated after eating. I made a reservation, but because the hotel reception and the restaurant reception are in the same building, I had to wait quite a while for hotel guests to check in, and during that time three waiters passed by me, but I was never shown to a seat. After finally sitting down, I ordered and while I was waiting for my food, they brought me a small appetizer, but it took a long time for the appetizer to be brought to my table. For some reason, customers who arrived later are always served their food first, which is strange. The wait time from appetizers to main dishes was equally long, and the waiter watched us from afar many times, but what did he want us to do? The restaurant is located away from the city in an industrial area, and the prices seemed unreasonable considering it was attached to a hotel.

04/09/2025: I went for lunch the last week of August and despite its name, at lunch they have another menu, practically non-existent; the dishes ordered were not good, including a typical local dish such as eggs, speck and potatoes, if they didn't feel like cooking they could have said so.... Too bad.

03/09/2025: I really enjoy eating here. The food is always excellent, the service is top-notch and very competent, and the atmosphere is pleasant and harmonious. All in all, I highly recommend it. Thanks to the entire staff and, of course, the owner.

26/09/2025: Excellent, I'd say. The place is fairly quiet, with background music, and the buffet is really varied and plentiful. Everything I ordered was good. Every now and then, or rather, often, they bring you various types of meat on a spit. The quality of the meat was average, but a little too salty for my taste. The price was more than fair. I'll definitely be back!

15/09/2025: I returned to Victoria Station and was delighted to discover that, besides being a beautiful and historic pub, it's also an excellent restaurant! The new menu offers a wide selection of classic dishes, homemade burgers, and grilled meats. I had fabulous homemade tagliatelle with ragù, a slice of Irish beef with coarse salt and rosemary, and roast potatoes. The meat was truly excellent, tender, and flavorful! I found a nice selection of beers on tap (14 of them!), highly sought-after bottled craft beers, and a wine cellar stocked with wines from small, excellent wineries. The place is a true English pub, welcoming and very quaint. The prices are average, but what struck me most was the selection and quality of the ingredients! Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

04/10/2025: I was at a wonderful place. It was delicious. Tagliatelle with mushrooms – simplicity and precision: al dente pasta, large, juicy mushroom pieces, and a delicate, enveloping sauce. The flavor is pure and balanced, the portion is generous – that comfort food you'll want to come back for. 🍝🍄 By the way, I recently started using an app with built-in AI for calorie counting. 11/09/2025: Top meat Definitely one of the best places to eat meat in Rome. The bruschetta with sausage and the beef skewers rolled in Colonnata lard are also excellent. Meat from all over the world, cooked to perfection.

05/10/2025: a perfect last lunch in italy (for this year). we couldn't have asked for a better send off. the cheeks and polenta left me cleaning the gravy off the plate with bread. the house red is exquisite. my wife's wild boar tagliatelle was just the sort of nonna's cooking that you're craving when you plan the trip to iseo. if you prefer family establishments, just off the tourist trail, don't miss cantina del torchio!
