I've been going to this restaurant for years, even when it was in its other location, and it remains one of my favorites. One thing's for sure: I've never left hungry or dissatisfied. Quite the opposite. The portions are generous and well-cooked. The menu is varied, from meat to fish, all of which are top-quality. The cacio e pepe troccoli with fresh bacon and a pecorino cheese wheel are a must-try. Among the seafood entrees, the spaghetti with mussels and clams is a must-try. Friendly staff and fast service. 100% recommended.

If you're looking for a complete gastronomic experience in Lecce, Bacaro e Zio Pesce is a top-notch choice.
The menu is one of its strengths: a wide and carefully selected selection of first courses, meats, and especially fish dishes, always well-executed and made with quality ingredients. The wine list is also excellent, designed to complement each course with balance and flavor.
Special praise goes to Massimiliano, the owner, who over the years has built a distinctive identity: consistent quality, attentive and professional service, all in an elegant and refined setting that's never overbearing or "heavy."
