18/05/2025: I wanted to have a tiramisu, but unfortunately I forgot to call in time and they couldn't do it. The lady who answered told me that for the number of people we were, a gatò would be available. She was very kind and helpful, she advised me since she had to travel an hour and a half, even how to store it. The dessert was simply divine, uniquely delicious. For being the first time I was very, very happy. The staff is very helpful and knows how to advise very well. I will return soon. I highly recommend it

22/07/2025: My girlfriend and I had a great time. The atmosphere was beautiful and quiet, the service was welcoming and friendly, and the food and wine were excellent. We went two nights in a row, each ordering different dishes, and they were all delicious.

20/07/2025: We had high hopes for this Italian spot, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. The pasta was noticeably undercooked and lacked flavor — it really needed more seasoning, especially salt. For a small-town restaurant, the prices felt steep given the portion sizes and quality. That said, the vibe was really nice — cozy and stylish — and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a shame the kitchen didn’t deliver, because the atmosphere and staff deserved better food to match.

08/07/2025: Heading up towards the Apuan Alps, a "preparatory stop" at this pastry shop is almost a must. But two days ago, aided by the fact that I'd soon have burned off a lot of calories, I gave in to the tempting maritozzo. And it was totally worth it!!!! I'd go back just for that. The rest is good, but I still dream about that maritozzo...

01/07/2025: They are the best on all fronts! We had our wedding cake made by Riccardo and he was great, very professional, kind and correct. We didn't have to think about anything, he took care of talking to all the suppliers and organizing everything! The professionalism, the desire to do and the quality of the ingredients are their trademark. It has become our trusted pastry shop for every event. Definitely recommended.

25/06/2025: On the advice of a friend, we chose this pastry shop for our wedding fruit tart: the shortcrust pastry was crumbly and delicious, the cream was very sweet and the fruit was fresh and abundant. We also ordered a selection of mignon in various flavors, all simply exquisite.

15/08/2025: I haven't tried the other restaurants in San Miniato, but as a waiter, I can say that the prices are absolutely fair for the quality of the food. Generous portions, simple cuisine, and the owner and waiter are phenomenal. Their friendliness and smiles put you at ease right away. They even offered us a complimentary amaro, which is always a welcome addition.

22/07/2025: The tagliolini with white truffle were delicious. They tried to cram too many tables into a small space, and it was practically a huge table. You may like it or not. The menu rating is more than adequate, but the ordering process needs rethinking. You can't wait 50 minutes for a plate of cold cuts. The table next door (right next door), who arrived two minutes before us, were waiting for dessert, while we were still waiting for our appetizer. We deliberately didn't bother anyone because I wanted to see how long they'd go. The waitress and the owner walked past us forty times, but they never noticed that while everyone else was eating, we only had water and wine on the table, and, I repeat, the room is very small. When we pointed this out to the owner at the end of the meal, fortunately he didn't make any strange remarks, but once he realized it, he tried to "make up for it" by offering dessert.

17/07/2025: We ate here on July 4th. The food was delicious. Friendly service and a nice location. Something went wrong with the card reader while paying, so I had to try again. I checked my banking app and saw that the amount had been debited. However, they insisted I try again because the card reader indicated the transaction had failed. I protested and paid again. The owner, Francesca, was very helpful in resolving the problem, and we communicated regularly via WhatsApp. The overpayment was refunded today.

26/07/2025: Very fair prices! For a plain brioche, a homemade pizza, two bottles of water, and a rice cake (both homemade and takeout), we spent only €6. The location is very convenient: near the Coop, a little further on from the Pam, with Fandango and Douglas next door, in a fairly central area of San Miniato Basso. A very simple but charming location, with nice tables and very comfortable chairs, and above all, a very bright atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind, friendly, and helpful: a lady and a young woman, both very nice! They even kindly gave us an extra rice cake. Highly recommended! The only flaw: they don't have many gelato flavors (but they do have the classics), and during our visit, the air conditioning was broken—but that's certainly not their fault.

08/08/2025: Under new management, a young and highly skilled pizza chef, excellent pizzas, perfectly crispy, top-quality ingredients, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Takeout is available, just minutes from Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can enjoy delicious pizza as the sun sets with a beautiful view. Highly recommended. We've been back several times and tried the various pizzas...all fabulous...the best thing is the tomato sauce, truly worthy of praise. Bravo, Dario, you continue to amaze us with the unique flavors you offer every time we come. It's become a regular stop!

06/08/2025: Go here. Best pizza we had in Italy! We had this on the second day of our trip and I tried replicating it in other pizzerias. And it was the only pizza my kids loved while there. None compared. I will dream of this pizza🤤
