04/05/2026: Great food at a great price! We came for lunch. Ask for the menu of the day and you’ll eat very well. And what a beautiful setting, with geese swimming on the lake, fish swimming just under the surface, and a rushing river nearby. The service was quick and our server very friendly, patient and efficient.

27/04/2026: Don’t miss this place. The food was incredible. It felt like a very upscale restaurant with not upscale prices. The room, dark sage green lower walls with a celery green uppers. And the ceiling looked like a cut velvet in dark brick red. Interesting combination that worked perfectly. The little flowers on the tables were metal. A view toward the kitchen from my seat. Unlike the treatment I got at Buralli the other night here I felt like a treasured guest. What I would imagine from a Michelin starred restaurant. It had that feel. And the waiters ran like a well-oiled machine. It was lovely to watch. One of the cooks, at least I assume so since he was wearing an apron, came out to help serve. I wondered if he was an owner because he didn’t appear to do a lot of cooking. More like overseeing. They started with an amuse bouche (although they didn’t call it that.) It just showed up. Anyway, it appeared to be a steamed artichoke leaf with avocado sauce and a golden raisin that appeared to be poached in a sort of sweet liquid on a very interesting cracker that seemed to be lightly fried. Excellent. Along with very thick sliced bread still warm from the oven. I would have been satisfied with just that. I chose the Torelli with white meat ragu. Wow!!! I think the meat was chicken, pork, and veal with a sauce that appeared to be broth with an egg yolk well combined. It was beyond delicious. The Torelli are like very big corkscrews perfectly Al dente. And of course I couldn’t pass up dessert. It was Zuppa Inglese as the special. I’ve never had it quite like this. Bottom layer, fairly thin custard with a very thin sponge cake layer and then a very thick layer of dark chocolate fudge. OMG I actually finished all of it. The portions were very small by our standards but for me it was perfect. Probably one of the reasons Italians don’t get fat eating pasta. Because they only eat about a quarter-half of what we serve. What looks like lights overhead are just hand formed soft material shaped like shades but they are not actually lights. Lighting comes from the central chandelier and wall sconces. Truly feels like a high end restaurant. I’m lucky I ate early because the place was full by the time I left and it appeared almost everyone had a reservation. I’m glad I didn’t miss eating here. 20/11/2025: Enoteca is a great wine store in the heart of old town Pisa. We purchased wines for our son’s wedding weekend, and Salvatore was very, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. He suggested wines that were fantastic, and offered to deliver them to us in Gello, which really helped us. His recommendations were perfect and we had many guests remark on the quality of the wines he suggested. Great service, great selection, and great value is what Salvatore provides. Thank you! We will return!

18/10/2025: Nice selection of refined labels, you can also find some lovely gems and products that are hard to find elsewhere. The prices are very fair. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable! 🍷

06/05/2026: The food was very good but just not perfect enough for the maximum score. The atmosphere and service, however, earn all the stars, as does the value for money.

05/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were delighted with our meal. The pasta was bursting with flavor, creating a delicious bouquet. The pizzas, besides being beautiful, were generously topped and thoroughly enjoyed. Furthermore, the service was excellent—warm, friendly, and accommodating. A wonderful discovery; I highly recommend it!

03/05/2026: We ate very well; the chickpea and clam soup, in its simplicity, was excellent. The staff was very kind, attentive, and friendly. The sea view was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

29/04/2026: I always love going back. I went twice last week. Once alone and the food was divine. The second time with a guest. The fish (pezzogna) didn't satisfy me like the first time. It wasn't very fresh. The restaurant isn't cheap; paying so much for fish that isn't fresh that day isn't acceptable. What a shame! Next time I'm in Marciana, I'll go elsewhere... I'll try other options.

Beautiful, large, welcoming, elegant, with plenty of indoor (upstairs and downstairs) and outdoor (air-conditioned covered patio) spaces, and that "bikers welcome" that says it all about the hospitality that extends to my world. Excellent menu with a varied selection of typical and traditional dishes. Excellent cuisine, tasty and plentiful. It's special to taste the first courses directly from the pan where they were sautéed, avoiding the plating and focusing more on the essentials than the frills. As is the soapstone under the grilled meat to keep it warm. Excellent solutions!! The highlight was the desserts prepared directly by the owner: truly delicious!! Let's just say that for what we paid, three of us ate well and were satisfied. Recommended!!

16/04/2026: A visit to Pino's is a must if you're in the area and enjoy seafood. The food is excellent: the red sea risotto is fabulous, the spaghetti al cartoccio is delicious and incredibly flavorful, the grilled fish is top-notch, and the fried fish is sublime. The desserts are also exceptional. Kudos to the entire staff!

06/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday; there were nine of us, including my 15-month-old daughter. I'll start my review by saying that the food wasn't bad; the fish wasn't exceptional, but it was passable. Since it was Sunday, the place was packed—I think it was even over capacity—very noisy, and the crowds crowded together made the temperature very high and the air unbreathable. We asked to turn on the air conditioning (there was a split unit in the restaurant) but were told it wasn't possible. My daughter isn't used to such a noisy environment, so she wanted to stay outside the restaurant the entire time. The waiters were friendly, but the service was extremely slow. I honestly wouldn't go back.
