16/06/2026: Everything was impeccable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service exceeded all expectations. The staff were professional and polite; they explained each dish to you, were attentive to your every need, and gave excellent wine pairing recommendations. Highly recommended!

15/06/2026: One word: UNASSEMBLED Small constructive criticism: Unbeatable except for the water and coffee. €4 for a bottle of water is a bit hilarious, €4 for a coffee is even more hilarious. But still, UNASSEMBLED. The best steak I've ever eaten. Top-notch staff, top-notch location, nice, large parking lot, delicious bread of various kinds. Nothing to say. I repeat, UNASSEMBLED.

The dessert was definitely up to par. The kitchen strives for quality, using freshly caught fish. It's definitely worth a try.

You could really taste the quality—it was caught earlier that day and prepared perfectly. The restaurant has a beautiful interior, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere, and the owner was exceptionally kind and made us feel truly welcome. 23/10/2025: Perfect pizza. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff was friendly, but seemed a bit disoriented at times. Still, we didn't have to wait too long.

16/10/2025: Great again this year. Perfect spaghetti carbonara and a great pizza. The pizza was very light and airy. Exactly my taste.

24/07/2026: What a fantastic fish restaurant! The food is delicious and beautifully presented; it's a feast for the eyes as well. The service is also very friendly. The owner took plenty of time to explain everything to us in detail and in a way we could easily understand. We felt completely welcome and very well taken care of. We also loved the ambiance. Everything is designed with great attention to detail. We will definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

19/07/2026: I went with high expectations. The service was excellent and the location was lovely, and these are the parameters that drive the rating. I ordered spaghetti with clams because that's the main criterion for judging a seafood restaurant. When it arrived, I was very disappointed. The clams were beautiful, but the dish lacked soul and flavor. The addition of basil covered the clams' already lackluster flavor. It was an experience I personally didn't enjoy, considering the quality/price ratio of the evening. It's a shame.

25/07/2026: Excellent experience. You can immediately sense the quality of the ingredients, and the dishes are well-prepared and presented with attention to detail. The service is courteous and helpful. My only small complaint: the wait for the appetizers and main courses was a bit long. Overall, however, the value for money is truly excellent, and the place is definitely worth a visit. Recommended.

28/06/2026: We only had the caciucco because we arrived almost at closing time. To say it was good is an understatement. The staff were friendly, fast, and helpful. We'll definitely return, but we'll take a bit more time.

22/06/2026: If you go to Livorno, you have to stop at Sottomarino!!! The welcome is family-like, Livorno residents for generations. The Cacciucco is the way it should be made, the recipe has been passed down through generations. The fish is fresh, the squid ink risotto is a delight, made to order with real squid ink. The portions are generous. The prices are fair and the service is friendly. They also have an outdoor garden. I will definitely return to enjoy other dishes.

05/07/2026: Very, very expensive compared to what was provided! For a sea bream shared between two people and a side of potatoes (very few and reheated, they weren't fresh), water, and 1/2 liter of wine, €30/person—quite exorbitant! Compared to the Italian islands and other Italian destinations, the quality/price ratio is 100 times better, and thank goodness!
