16/10/2025: Impeccable service. I was looking for a particular book, they found it for me, and in half a minute it was gift-wrapped and ready.

08/09/2025: Spectacular! Lots of variety and very friendly staff. You can find history books and recreational games in different languages.

23/11/2025: We called at 1:00 PM to reserve a table for 2:00 PM, knowing we were a bit late, but were told it was no problem. Once we arrived, however, we were greeted very rudely; what I believe was the head waiter even exclaimed in front of the waiter who was setting up our table, "Who took these!?" as if our presence wasn't welcome. No problem... we won't be returning.

05/11/2025: I was amazed at how quickly they responded to my attempt to place an order from overseas. The process was super easy and executed flawlessly! I'll most likely order from them again!

09/12/2025: Let me start by saying that whenever I return to Volterra, I'll return to Antica Taverna to give it 5 stars; a place as beautiful as all Tuscan villages manage to be, nestled in their characteristic and stunning alleys! The vast menu with an incredible number of dishes to choose from becomes a daunting task, and that's when a living encyclopedia of the best local dishes comes to the rescue: the legendary waiter, who describes everything in great detail! We enjoyed delicious appetizers and first courses; my only complaint is the fried zucchini flowers and sage, which should have been my highlight of the lunch, but instead was a slight disappointment due to the greasy batter. The prices are quite high, but quality rarely comes cheap.

07/12/2025: We're from Emilia, so you know, we're very picky about food... that said, we were extremely satisfied with the dinner we had. Everything was truly delicious, plentiful, and made with top-quality ingredients... the waiter was extremely kind, incredibly hospitable, and very knowledgeable in explaining the dishes and providing some historical information about the area. If we return to Volterra, we'll definitely eat at Antica Taverna again.

02/11/2025: Good morning, I called 5 times a while ago, you hung up without saying anything and once you answered and I was left waiting for 5 minutes without saying a word and hearing everything in the background, I understand that you were busy but I think you could have found 1 minute to order a dessert, or say that you don't take orders on Sundays, too bad

18/11/2025: Dinner for six on Saturday, November 15th. The restaurant was packed but well-organized, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, welcoming waiters. We return every year from Rome's Bagno Vignoni area for the excellent Tuscan food and the friendliness of the lady at the counter. It's a shame it's so hard to book... Highly recommended! 06/12/2025: Whenever I'm in Lido di Camaiore, Bar Cattan is my go-to for a snack or aperitif! I LOVE their cappuccino and mini pastries 😍😍 The service is always precise and impeccable, and the staff is professional and friendly. Seating for all tastes, both inside and out. I recommend it 100%.

24/11/2025: A lovely pastry shop near the Lido di Camaiore coastline, recently renovated and under new management. A decent selection of breakfast pastries and pastries (it's hard to say if the entire selection is homemade). The croissants aren't bad, though they're different from the French classics. The coffee is good, and there are several options for aperitivo, available from 5:00 PM onward. A negative: the tables inside, those reserved for the cafeteria, are tiny, making it difficult to even fit two cups of coffee and a couple of pastries. Prices are slightly above average, but not excessive. Friendly service.

27/10/2025: Ristorante Il Antica Scuderia – absolutely top! 🍷🍝 Excellent food and wine, all perfectly prepared and served with a smile. The restaurant is very clean, the service professional and friendly. We really enjoyed the food – from appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious. A large selection of wines will please every gastronomy lover. Simply a restaurant with everything! I recommend it to everyone who loves good food, wine and honest cuisine. A great place for true gourmets. 👌🍷

02/11/2025: Fantastic Florentine steak at fair prices. Very friendly staff. Besides Florentine steak, you can try all the local specialties, from pecorino to pici. The restaurant is located in the heart of the historic center.

05/11/2025: The atmosphere is refined, elegant, and welcoming. The dishes aren't overly elaborate, the pasta is fresh, and the staff is friendly and smiling. If I had to find anything negative, it would only be the prices. It's true that we're in a high-quality, elegant place, but I think it should be 10-15% cheaper to be perfect.

23/10/2025: A very casual atmosphere, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner...also suitable for vegans, as it offers a good selection of vegan first and second courses. The wine, sourced locally, is excellent.

22/08/2025: The atmosphere was very casual; we ordered the platter, which was very good, and a good first course. The first courses were heated up on the spot, but the quality was really good. The service was perfect! Definitely worth repeating in the future.
