07/01/2026: You'll immediately find a friendly, family atmosphere, excellent and fast service, and plentiful, fresh dishes! A large screen for watching the games (Naples is the star). The staff were friendly and helpful right from the start. We called to make a reservation, and since we're new to the place, they sent us their location on WhatsApp and reserved a quiet spot. And by the way, there's a large parking lot that's always available! (There are a few potholes too many for my low-slung car!). Thank you so much.

26/10/2025: A kiosk where you can stop to eat a lampredotto sandwich made according to Empoli tradition, compliments to Roberto.

23/09/2025: Delicious sandwiches, piadinas, and pizzas. There's also outdoor seating at the streetside garden tables. A must-visit every time I pass through Civitella!

14/02/2026: A very well-stocked pastry shop, but it's a shame that two employees are very rude to customers and to each other. The rest of the staff is very friendly. It's really unpleasant to witness people being reprimanded behind the counter.

13/03/2026: A small and very simple restaurant. The starter and the pasta was very good but unfortunately I cannot say the same thing for the second dish I had: eggplant balls. There was way too much garlic and it was covering all other flavors.

12/01/2026: We stumbled upon this pastry shop by chance. What can I say? We returned three days in a row, sometimes twice a day. The pastries are delicious and of excellent quality (you can taste the raw ingredients). I recommend the enormous chocolate baci di dama, the cannoli, and everything related to meringue (I admit I wasn't crazy about meringue, but this one is truly top-notch). Also try the braided brioche they make—a real treat. The lady who served us was very kind.

15/03/2026: We went for lunch today to celebrate a birthday. Despite there being a lot of us, the service was perfect, and all the dishes came out at the same time, which is absolutely unheard of. The fish was delicious, and the portions were generous and well-cooked. The staff was extremely friendly, and the prices were truly excellent. Thank you, and see you soon!

The products are always fresh and prepared with great care: from breakfast pastries to more elaborate desserts, everything is truly delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, perfect for both a leisurely breakfast and a coffee break during the day. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is always prompt. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent pastries and spend a pleasant time in a relaxed atmosphere.

06/03/2026: I was curious to try this now historic place. The food was good, the portions generous, and the price was fair...but the crowds and especially the loud music made it difficult for us to have a proper conversation.

18/03/2026: What a wonderful discovery, La Grotta Guelfa. Excellent food. Delicious dishes that are also beautiful to look at. Excellent service, with attention to detail, without being intrusive, but with great care. Congratulations, truly!

06/01/2026: We went to this restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the menu, which was truly spectacular! We were enchanted by the appetizers right from the start, but when they served us the ramen, we thought it couldn't get any better. Instead, the tortelli exceeded all expectations. The wine pairing was also very well received, especially the red "Le Cupole"! The service was impeccable. Usually at New Year's Eve dinners, the food and service are on the "lower end" despite the high prices, but in this case, the cost was absolutely worth it! I highly recommend it.

31/12/2025: Ristorante da Ciacco is truly an excellent restaurant. It seamlessly combines friendly service, lovely atmosphere and amazing food. One can choose to sit either in the comfortable inside area or outside. If you choose the latter, your experience will only be magnified. Sitting outside is surreal....you are virtually next to a 500 year-old church in a beautiful medieval village. Tuscan dishes are generally simple....characterized by locally sourced foods, the freshest ingredients and presented in a non-fussy way. Ciacco is different. The creativity and presentation of the food is truly amazing and the dishes are some of the best I have ever had....Tuscan or otherwise. I’d mention the Tonno (tuna) I had or the risotto, but chances are great that they may not be available the following day as the menu changes constantly, depending on what the cook may have found that day at the market. Ciacco is known in the area for having fish on their menu....something not typical in this area of Tuscany. I have had numerous fish dishes at Ciacco over the years and they have always been fantastic. I always seem to leave the restaurant in amazement as to how spectacular the meal was.....a meal easily on par with the best meals I’ve had at some of Europe best restaurants. In short: if the opportunity should ever present itself, do yourself a favor and stop by beautiful San Quirico d’Orcia and eat at Ristorante da Ciacco!
