16/05/2026: At a friend's suggestion, I was in Prato a few days ago, and my wife and I stopped to try the much-vaunted Setteveli.
A beautiful place, excellent pastry display, and a selection of pastries. We ordered a Setteveli and a Sorrentina.
Everyone has their own tastes, of course.
The Setteveli was good but nothing special. As for the Sorrentina, having been lucky enough to have it elsewhere, my personal recommendation is that if it was fresh, it's better if they don't make it anymore.
The prices are truly exorbitant for what they offer.
27/04/2026: Excellent breakfast experience! Mannori Pasticceria, which I was unfamiliar with, needs no introduction. Its bakery has won multiple international awards. The leavened goods and breakfast pastries are top-quality. One of the best "bedside rugs" I've tried in Tuscany. The plain croissant and the almond brioche are exceptional. The fine pastries, cakes, and mini pastries are beautiful to look at, and we'll definitely be planning another delicious visit in the future.

In my opinion, one of the best things are the cream puffs, absolutely amazing!
Recommended!
12/07/2026: Decent leavened pastries, but limited selection already by mid-morning. Note: no plain croissants! Only croissants filled with all sorts of fillings... A pleasant place, both inside and on the large sidewalk overlooking the street.

05/07/2026: We spent three days in Prato and always dined here, right behind the Duomo. The dishes were delicious and carefully prepared, with gluten-free options on every course. Fried zucchini flowers and porcini mushrooms, various pasta dishes with wild boar ragù and white rabbit ragù, pici all'aglione, melt-in-your-mouth beef sirloin, Prato meatballs, delicious desserts, excellent wine and spirit selections... in short, we had a truly wonderful time! Above all, Alessandro and the entire staff were so friendly and welcoming. If you're in Florence, take a day to visit Prato's city center and taste Tuscany at this Osteria; you'll be amazed!
10/06/2026: Although I'd researched various restaurants to use on our night in Prato, we only came across this restaurant by accident. So decided to eat here. We didn't regret it. Definitely the best meal we've had so far in Italy. Lovely atmosphere

09/07/2026: I've returned to this bakery several times because I appreciate the fact that it offers both sweet and savory gluten-free products. Unfortunately, however, my experience was disappointing.
The only day when everything tastes truly fresh is Monday. On other days, I've often had the impression that the products are made at the beginning of the week and stored for several days: the flavor and texture clearly indicate they're not fresh, especially the savory items.
It's a real shame, because finding gluten-free options is important, but freshness should be as much a priority as quality.

30/05/2026: A cute 1970s-style Italian bar that I'm particularly fond of because 20 years ago my grandfather used to come here to buy pastries on Sundays. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic. I also really appreciate the newspapers on every table. It can sometimes get a little crowded, and it's not always easy to find a seat.

22/06/2026: I stopped for lunch around 12:00. I was given a table right away and even a special lunch menu. I waited exactly 5 and a half minutes and had a generous plate of pasta with fusilli al pomodoro.
Along with 1L of water and a stuffed pasta, I received excellent service from professional and smiling staff.

16/07/2026: We stopped here on a hot July evening and loved both the location of its terrace with its beautiful views of the Duomo and its lively piazza, and the fact that they serve aperitifs with our drinks—or "tapas," as they say—which were varied and quite generous, all included in the price. Special mention to Jessica, who treated us wonderfully throughout our visit! Thank you so much, we'll be back!
12/07/2026: I've been to this bar often for a short time. I really like its atmosphere, created by the beautiful, relaxing background music and the aesthetics of the interior.
The food is really good: in particular, I found the tuna and mayonnaise sandwich and the carrot cake very tasty.
If we want to nitpick, the prices aren't exactly cheap, but it's a bistro, after all, and the food seems good quality; therefore, it's acceptable.
In conclusion, I recommend this excellent bar to everyone.

08/05/2026: The best pizza we've had in Italy. We're Mexican and were visiting Italy (Florence, Pisa, Rome, and Venice), and we loved this place. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, suggesting what to order, and everything was excellent. My wife loved the pizza, as she likes it thin and crispy, just like it is at this restaurant. We definitely recommend it.
