16/05/2026: At a friend's suggestion, I was in Prato a few days ago, and my wife and I stopped to try the much-vaunted Setteveli.
A beautiful place, excellent pastry display, and a selection of pastries. We ordered a Setteveli and a Sorrentina.
Everyone has their own tastes, of course.
The Setteveli was good but nothing special. As for the Sorrentina, having been lucky enough to have it elsewhere, my personal recommendation is that if it was fresh, it's better if they don't make it anymore.
The prices are truly exorbitant for what they offer.
27/04/2026: Excellent breakfast experience! Mannori Pasticceria, which I was unfamiliar with, needs no introduction. Its bakery has won multiple international awards. The leavened goods and breakfast pastries are top-quality. One of the best "bedside rugs" I've tried in Tuscany. The plain croissant and the almond brioche are exceptional. The fine pastries, cakes, and mini pastries are beautiful to look at, and we'll definitely be planning another delicious visit in the future.

10/06/2026: Although I'd researched various restaurants to use on our night in Prato, we only came across this restaurant by accident. So decided to eat here. We didn't regret it. Definitely the best meal we've had so far in Italy. Lovely atmosphere
01/06/2026: Excellent, centrally located restaurant, highly recommended by us. Very nice, well-maintained, and the owners are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent food and reasonable prices...nothing to complain about. Plenty of choice, with beautifully presented dishes and an equally impressive wine selection. Excellent service, we'll definitely be back.

30/05/2026: A cute 1970s-style Italian bar that I'm particularly fond of because 20 years ago my grandfather used to come here to buy pastries on Sundays. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic. I also really appreciate the newspapers on every table. It can sometimes get a little crowded, and it's not always easy to find a seat.

02/05/2026: I wanted a proper breakfast, and we were definitely very satisfied with the quality of the products; everything we ordered was homemade.
Everything was perfect. The staff was also welcoming and kind.
21/04/2026: I go every morning for breakfast at Mario's at Bar Coppini, where I find excellent pastries. They're courteous and professional, and the lunch menu also offers a variety of delicious dishes. Thanks for being there!!!

08/05/2026: The best pizza we've had in Italy. We're Mexican and were visiting Italy (Florence, Pisa, Rome, and Venice), and we loved this place. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, suggesting what to order, and everything was excellent. My wife loved the pizza, as she likes it thin and crispy, just like it is at this restaurant. We definitely recommend it.

Rudeness, the best service offered!!!
I decide to go in for breakfast; I ask if they have an empty whole-wheat croissant, but there wasn't one, and so far so good.
Based on what I liked, I decide to order a cream puff pastry. The person gives it to me and then comments: "Sure, there's a difference between an empty whole-wheat croissant and a cream puff pastry!"
I decide not to argue and also ask for a macchiato.
I finish breakfast, pay, and leave.
I'm sorry, but I'll never set foot in there again, not even if it were the only place open.
08/01/2026: Plate with croissant thrown on the counter by the stern-faced "lady" at the bar, not a smile or a thank you or a good morning in fact... the name of the place does not live up to the treatment, as far as I'm concerned they can close.ps The croissant was not even passable!

23/07/2025: Visited on January 17, 2025. I had a Viennese coffee and a brioche, both very good. Nice place and efficient staff.
Recommended if you're passing through Prato and want a good breakfast!
