13/11/2025: Just steps from the historic center of Sansepolcro, this place, discovered by chance, is truly perfect for us. Beautiful, large, welcoming, elegant, with plenty of indoor (upstairs and downstairs) and outdoor (air-conditioned covered patio) spaces, and that "bikers welcome" that says it all about the hospitality that extends to my world. Excellent menu with a varied selection of typical and traditional dishes. Excellent cuisine, tasty and plentiful. It's special to taste the first courses directly from the pan where they were sautéed, avoiding the plating and focusing more on the essentials than the frills. As is the soapstone under the grilled meat to keep it warm. Excellent solutions!! The highlight was the desserts prepared directly by the owner: truly delicious!! Let's just say that for what we paid, three of us ate well and were satisfied. Recommended!!

25/01/2026: The place is nice, but with all the people there, it would be best to avoid background music. Friendly and helpful service. Average wait times. Good-quality meat sandwich. Too much onion, though.

15/03/2026: We stopped at this restaurant in Livorno's Venezia district almost by chance and were thrilled. My wife has been a chef for many years, and I'm in the business myself, and we have to compliment everything: the food, the service, the ambiance, and the truly fair prices. We definitely recommend it.

06/03/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday; there were nine of us, including my 15-month-old daughter. I'll start my review by saying that the food wasn't bad; the fish wasn't exceptional, but it was passable. Since it was Sunday, the place was packed—I think it was even over capacity—very noisy, and the crowds crowded together made the temperature very high and the air unbreathable. We asked to turn on the air conditioning (there was a split unit in the restaurant) but were told it wasn't possible. My daughter isn't used to such a noisy environment, so she wanted to stay outside the restaurant the entire time. The waiters were friendly, but the service was extremely slow. I honestly wouldn't go back.

23/09/2025: We've been coming here for a few years, but this is the first time we've written a review, because the place deserves it. We've almost always ordered the so-called tourist menu, which isn't touristy at all: always impeccable fish starters, an excellent mixed fried fish main course, side dishes, and even wine at a more than fair price. Add to that the very friendly and courteous staff and the beautiful view of the Rio Marina harbor, and it's one of the best restaurants on Elba. Congratulations to the management and staff, and see you next year! We want to try the pizza, which looks wonderful...

21/02/2026: We stopped for a quick breakfast and found excellent food, good coffee and a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, with music in the background, a nice bar to return to often.

31/12/2025: We discovered this coffee shop by mistake on our first day in Livorno because it was on our way—and ended up coming back every single day of our stay. The cappuccino was excellent and the croissants were extremely delicious. Each day we kept adding more to our order because everything was so good. The staff were also incredibly nice and friendly, which made the experience even better.

10/11/2025: Last Sunday, I went to this restaurant in Aboca for lunch with my friends after a trek. A well-kept place, young staff, and a nice menu. Excellent service from two attractive young women. If I may offer a piece of advice, in such a large, rustic, and beautiful room, installing an electric heater is not only pointless, but also an eyesore—a real shame. You'd need to invest a bit of money into a nice wood-burning stove, perhaps a cast iron one with copper pipes. Besides making the room much more beautiful and welcoming, it would also heat the very cold environment for those sitting down to eat. That said, I'd recommend this place, but not in the winter.

14/10/2025: I trusted the good reviews, but I was greatly disappointed. If the staff had asked me, I would have gladly told them in person, but the lady didn't show as much attention to a woman dining alone as she did to the beautiful, well-dressed family at the next table (perhaps a tourist for her?). It's a shame I'm a local but moved abroad. €14 Spaghetti with clams made with BUTTER For me, this is a blasphemy against Italian cuisine because in 15 years of gastronomy, it's never happened to me (only abroad 🥲), and I ate it both out of hunger and because, with my education, I would never have allowed myself to make a fuss. €16 Mixed grilled fish. In Grosseto, I expected at least the shrimp to be fresh. It's a shame they weren't, otherwise they would have been free of black intestines and could have been peeled without much effort. In any case, I fear the rest of the fish hadn't been fresh either, otherwise it wouldn't have been so bland. Maybe it's the wrong day... I think this is the first negative review I've made the effort to write because I have a lot of understanding, being in the industry. But precisely for this reason, when it comes to raw ingredients in Italy, things like this break the heart, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts! I've always been committed to conveying the essence and culture of our extraordinary cuisine (I don't come from any Michelin-starred restaurant), and eating like this when I return to my homeland is unacceptable. I also consumed a bottle of sparkling water. Paid €38. Thinking about it with a clear head after the shock, €8 for water and cover charge? That also smacks of mockery... (Reading other reviews where dessert and a glass of wine were also consumed for €40), but the €8 is irrelevant compared to the pain I felt when I saw clams before my eyes and smelled only butter. I admit I'm writing this with anger because I couldn't wait to enjoy a proper seafood meal, and maybe I chose the wrong dishes, but I still believe that simple things are the best. The staff, probably family-run, is clearly doing their best right from the moment you arrive, but I would have appreciated a little more smile from the lady at the restaurant :) to make me feel more at ease. I hope my experience is an isolated one and doesn't happen to anyone else who loves good, simple, and authentic food like I do.
