11/05/2026: Big fans of the restaurant and go there often. We were there Sunday May 10 for dinner, inside. We were seated next to a couple who had a lot to say about their meals. It was a complicated meat order, shared, and eventually not to their liking. The very good manager came to check that all was ok, they said Yes all good. They then turned on him when they finished the meal. The manager rightly said that they should have alerted him to a potential problem when asked, or even later, and he would have solved it. It was an unedifying situation for the Manager, who was excellent in his explanations to a very difficult customer. I am writing this in the hope that should this person complain in this or any other forum that there is very much another side to the story.

11/05/2026: We wandered in by chance on a Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised. The appetizer was "Alici alla povera" (Anchovies "Poor Man's" style), excellent! The tortelli with meat sauce were also excellent and truly delicious. The aromatic herb and citrus risotto was perhaps a little overcooked, but still good. For dessert, a creamy basil sauce with red berries and chocolate was interesting. The staff was friendly and efficient. The place was very beautiful, but the acoustics weren't great.

29/12/2025: Highly recommended. The dishes are exceptional, and you can immediately see the attention to detail (as well as a lot of passion). Bonus: pet-friendly! Our dog, Barolo, was treated like a true prince. If you can, stop by and try the pumpkin buttons!

18/04/2026: The food is good and cheap...but the problem is that there were two of us and they didn't serve us together...so it was like eating alone at home!! The meat was excellent...the fish lasagna was excellent...but the fried fish was terrible...we couldn't talk because of the noise!! It's not a place for couples 😉

21/03/2026: I went to lunch today with a group of friends at this trattoria I'd heard so much about. The menu is 15 euros for a first course, second course, and side dish. More than the food, you'll remember the experience for the staff, especially Michele, who keeps you on track with his voice and amazes you with his memory. He doesn't write down; he listens, memorizes, and never misses a beat! The fixed price is truly inviting, the portions are generous, the house wine is good, and the punch is very good! We had a great time, even though the wait was long. I recommend booking, otherwise you're out of luck.

The size of the main courses and their preparation could be slightly improved, but we appreciated the inclusion of seasonal vegetables in many dishes. The venue is very beautiful and unique; we recommend it for a special occasion or simply for treating yourself.

28/03/2026: Highly recommended. We are a mother and daughter from Madrid. We've been coming to this cafe since day one and loved it. Miriam, Maria, and Emmanuelle are charming and very professional. We love that it's a reasonably priced cafe, friendly with its customers, and that they know their regulars. Delicious cappuccino, plant-based milk options, and very good pasta. 100% recommended. We'll keep fond memories of it.

27/03/2026: Good coffee and pastries. Unfortunately, the barista ripped me off for two euros at the register, and I only realized it later because it was quite early in the morning. Anyone who behaves like this will be in pretty bad shape anyway.

15/04/2026: I went to eat at this restaurant on the recommendation of local friends and based on the positive reviews (4.4 stars), but honestly, I can't understand how anyone could like such a place. I'm from Naples, so I'm used to a whole different level of cuisine, but here it's not just about taste: the quality of the products and the condition of the place were truly disappointing. The restaurant was packed despite it being a Tuesday night, but I had a terrible impression from the moment I entered: the place was tiny, tables were packed tightly together, and the smell of food lingered (I left with smelly clothes). There was also a cat at the entrance, which immediately made me consider leaving, but unfortunately it was already 10:00 PM. The place overall seemed unclean and neglected: old and dirty doors, and a single bathroom for men, women, and disabled people, with a decent but barely functioning sink. As for the food, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. The appetizer of cured meats, which were supposed to be Tuscan, was absolutely subpar, the portions very small, and above all, unpleasant. The sliced ​​beef, which should be a highlight in Tuscany, was completely tasteless and served very raw, even though I'd asked for it to be medium rare: it wasn't even rare, but practically raw. The side dish (caponata) was also truly awful; I left it all on my plate and even mentioned it. I also left the meat and didn't even ask for it to be cooked more; I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The wine (a €22 Chianti) only made the experience worse. I didn't order dessert, coffee, or liqueur. In conclusion, the place is small, not very clean, and the food is very low quality. I don't understand how it gets all these positive reviews: if it were possible, I'd give it zero stars instead of one.

This quaint restaurant manages to convey the authentic atmosphere of Tuscan tradition, with its walls adorned with old photographs that tell the story of the city. As soon as you enter, you sense a warm welcome and attention to detail that make the dining experience special. Service was surprisingly quick, allowing us to enjoy our dishes without long waits, which is always a plus. As for the food, the fillets with porcini mushrooms and vinegar were a true masterpiece. They were cooked perfectly: tender and flavorful, each bite melted in your mouth, enhanced by a wonderful combination of flavors. We paired our meal with a glass of house wine, which proved to be an excellent pairing, further enriching the dining experience. In short, Antica Osteria di Bazzino is a place where Tuscan culinary tradition blends with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area who wants to enjoy a good meal in a charming setting.

16/12/2025: Beautiful and well-kept place, we can eat inside and outside, beautiful terrace from which you can see the landscape, excellent place to eat Tuscan food, very good appetizers and very good first and second courses, typical meat and fish dishes, very kind and professional both the staff and the owner as soon as you arrive to order, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home and satisfy your requests, clean restrooms, good prices, large parking lot, that's why I gave it 4 stars, I recommend trying the pizzas and the tagliolini with lobster, they are finger-licking good, and the Cinta Senese pork loin with fried patent and fried porcini mushrooms 😋😋😀
