The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the medieval charm of the village. The outdoor garden is simply enchanting, perfect for a romantic dinner. The food? Extraordinary. From the handmade pasta, to the delicate and flavorful main courses, to the desserts that seem to have come straight from a family recipe book. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients and with a care that is evident at first bite. All accompanied by an extensive wine list, featuring select local labels. The service was impeccable: courteous, attentive, and always smiling. You can sense the love for the region and the authentic hospitality. Being guests at Relais Palazzo del Capitano made everything even more special: it was like living, for a few days, in a Tuscan dream. The experience is complete, harmonious, and profoundly authentic. Highly recommended, both for those seeking authentic Tuscan cuisine and for those who wish to experience the soul of this extraordinary place. We will definitely be back.

02/10/2025: Good coffee, tasty pastries but very unfriendly staff. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but they look very annoyed as I simply asked them if I could have some salt and answered me very sarcastic and rude.

23/09/2025: Aperitif on Tuesday at 1:00 PM 2 Campari Spritzes for €16. We're in Lido di Camaire, which isn't even marked on the map. Crazy stuff!

23/09/2025: Small café and restaurant, but they serve very well prepared Italian food. I paid for a whine and a 2 meal course 18€, so quite affordable Be aware that not all people there speak (good) English, but if you're up to that, give it a try!

28/09/2025: We paid 40 Euros for two really small portions of the worst lasagna I’ve ever eaten (probably a frozen one?), one small beer and one Aperol Spritz. We stopped here because it was one of the only open places and we were really hungry after a long hike, we didn’t expect anything fancy at all, just good local cuisine, but it really wasn’t worth it at all.

29/09/2025: A very good restaurant, reservations are required on weekends. The food was excellent; we had antipasti, plus pasta, mushrooms, and ragù. We didn't order the pizza, but judging by the tables nearby, it's a delight to visit again! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take a picture because we ate it right away. 27/09/2025: The quality of the ingredients was very good and well-cooked. We had a sliced ​​steak for four, a fillet steak, and fried mushrooms as appetizers, and were satisfied with the food. However, the staff wasn't very attentive and unresponsive. I had to get up every time I needed something because the waiters were walking by without looking, as we were waving our arms to get noticed. - The appetizer was brought without plates being brought. - We waited too long for the condiments. - While waiting for the bread, we finished the main course.

06/10/2025: A place with a markedly communist aesthetic, it feels like being in a party headquarters, flags everywhere, hammer and sickle everywhere and I can understand that for some it may seem excessive, but I assure you that the atmosphere is beautiful, not in the style of a decadent community center. The staff is nice and above all, the food is really good. I chose it almost by chance, I had no idea of ​​the setup, let's say I hit the jackpot, both my partner and I are very satisfied! 😁

05/07/2025: If you’re in town, you must come here! The food was absolutely delicious! We had the Tuscan Steak and it was tasty and melted in your mouth. Make sure you get dessert too, you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu! Highly recommend!!
