04/03/2026: A truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. Typical Tuscan cuisine with unique flavors. The menu isn't extensive, but every option is perfectly executed. We started with a local antipasto that pleasantly surprised us with its intense yet fresh flavors. For our main courses, we ordered roast pork neck with red pepper and house-baked potatoes (a dish that seems simple but will be etched in my memory because of how delicious it was) and pappardelle with wild boar (very flavorful and not at all heavy). To finish, we ordered cantucci with Vino Santo, which did not disappoint. They have many local wine options and six house wines served in different sizes. In our case, we chose one from the Montalcino region, which improved as the meal progressed (a more than acceptable wine for €7 for half a liter). A place I would definitely return to if I were to visit Siena again.

02/01/2026: The food is good but VERY expensive for the type of food and the quantity. We spent 160€ total for 4. Only fix menu: the cheapest was 30€ each which included 1 small appetizer, 1 small entrée, 1 desert and coffee. Wine and water are extra. They charged 10€ for portion of penne pasta with olive oil for a kid. Service was average. UPDATE After receiving a “like” on my review, which suggests that other clients share similar feelings, I feel compelled to update it. After reading your reply, I am also compelled to remove additional stars. I expressed a personal opinion about pricing and service, which I am fully entitled to do as a customer. Your response, however, was unnecessarily aggressive, condescending, and disrespectful — not only toward me, but, judging from other replies, toward other clients as well. For someone who presents themselves as promoting good food, good times, and hospitality, your tone communicates something very different. And to be clear: we were not “friends.” I was a paying customer. In that moment, you were providing a service — nothing more, nothing less. Courtesy and professionalism should apply regardless of whether a client agrees with you or not. Criticism can be discussed; rudeness cannot be justified.

15/01/2026: A beautiful bar, but especially the restrooms, which are among the cleanest and most welcoming, if you can say so, in Piombino. My compliments, truly.

29/12/2025: Busy every day and at all hours. The staff is friendly and attentive to regular customers. Excellent selection of both savory and sweet items. Prices are in line with other establishments. The only drawback is the lack of space, given how crowded it is.

22/11/2025: Now I feel like home!! I've been in Lucca for weeks for work. A passerby recommended this bar-restaurant to us (thank goodness!!). The place is welcoming, warm, and clean, and the food offers a wide selection of first courses, second courses, and side dishes—homemade. And then there's Fede, always smiling, and her "ciaooo" when you walk in changes your day!! Highly recommended! P.S. Fede makes the best cappuccino in Lucca!!

21/03/2026: I went to lunch today with a group of friends at this trattoria I'd heard so much about. The menu is 15 euros for a first course, second course, and side dish. More than the food, you'll remember the experience for the staff, especially Michele, who keeps you on track with his voice and amazes you with his memory. He doesn't write down; he listens, memorizes, and never misses a beat! The fixed price is truly inviting, the portions are generous, the house wine is good, and the punch is very good! We had a great time, even though the wait was long. I recommend booking, otherwise you're out of luck.

25/07/2025: Super delicious cocktails! We were very satisfied. We sat on the terrace; you can only sit side by side, but you have a lovely view of the piazza. An awning would have been nice so you're not sitting directly in the blazing sun. You can also order the cocktails to go, which cost €1 less.

07/07/2025: Key Largo Bar – Espresso with Heart We came here looking for a really good espresso – and we weren't disappointed! The coffee was excellent: strong, aromatic, and exactly what you'd expect in Italy. The real highlight, however, was the moment when our little daughter naturally wanted a children's espresso – that is, milk foam in her espresso cup. The barista not only smiled warmly, but happily fulfilled her wish – and even on the house. A small moment that put a big smile on our faces. Conclusion: Good coffee, lovely people, a lovely atmosphere – that's exactly how you want to enjoy your coffee break.
