She, together with her husband, has managed Nonna's legacy with great praise!! The flavors and textures of the food took us by storm! Fish and seafood at its best!! Together with well-chosen wine from the surroundings!! See you again!!

27/08/2025: We went there for dinner without a reservation. The welcome was pleasant, and the food arrived quickly. From that point on, things went awry. There were bone fragments in the lasagna. We pointed this out to the waitress, and she explained that this was normal, as the ragù is made with rabbit, and some rabbit bones are too small to remove. There was no mention of this on the menu, and there was no information about it when ordering. We finished eating after the waitress informed us... because fishing bones out of your mouth isn't really nice. The table wasn't cleared, and at some point I asked for the bill. It arrived, and the plates were still on the table. When a second waiter saw this, a minor argument broke out between the waiters, and we weren't spoken to in a friendly manner again. We were glad when we finally left the place. It was a shame, because the atmosphere was very inviting and promising. Maybe it was just the wrong day.

02/08/2025: Prima volta da loro a cena in tre, su suggerimento di un’altro chef. Esperienza ottima, locale garbato in darsena, cenato nel patio. Maestoso crudo di pesce, spaghettini alle arselle fresche fa-vo-lo-si, un buon dentice al forno con le olive e patate. Tutto freschissimo e ben presentato. Servizio impeccabile fatto da giovani preparati. Abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di vino inusuale e la temperatura non era perfetta. Prezzi accettabili in proporzione alla grande qualità. 12/10/2025: TUSCANY Perfect lunch with authentic Tuscan flavors and warmth: traditional bruschetta with chicken livers and phenomenal polenta with mushrooms. Very tasty first courses, tordelli with truffles and pappardella with wild boar. To finish, a truly exquisite Fiorentina steak.

11/10/2025: We had a great experience at this restaurant on our first visit to Florence 10 years ago. We decided to return, which was a terrible idea. It was 8:15 PM and we didn't have a reservation, but the customer service representative told us we'd have to wait about 30 minutes for a table. We agreed, as we really wanted to repeat the experience we'd had in the past. We went for a walk and returned after 20 minutes. We waited the agreed-upon time and asked again about the table. This time, we were told we'd have to wait another 10 minutes. That was fine. We sat in the chairs right in front of the restaurant, waiting to be called. To our surprise, several people who also didn't have a reservation arrived at the restaurant and were quickly welcomed and seated, including a group of about 10 people. There were three of us, and we really didn't understand why we weren't called. Until, after an hour of waiting and seeing another group of four people without a reservation easily get a table, we lost our patience and went to the man serving customers. He simply said he hadn't called us because he hadn't seen us, even though we'd been sitting at the front of the restaurant for over 40 minutes! And he even had the audacity to offer us the worst table in the restaurant for dinner. Even tired and with headphones on, we found what happened incredibly disrespectful and decided to look for another restaurant in Florence. Terrible service! It was a shame, because this negative experience simply ruined the good memories we had of this restaurant. Never to return!

05/10/2025: Dear friends, the owners, Rosetta and Giorgio, pay obsessive attention to the quality of their ingredients, the cooking, and the presentation of their dishes. The quality/price ratio is very good: naturally, if you choose a fine wine (see photo), the price goes up, but the staff is ready to advise you! The wine cellar is well-stocked! The tables are spaced far enough apart to ensure relaxation, privacy, and conversation without having to worry about being overtaken. Be careful about parking: the restaurant is in the historic center (limited traffic zone). Leave your car in the surrounding parking lots: it's only a short distance away! Reservations are highly recommended. € well spent!

12/10/2025: The meat-based second courses are very good. They're an excellent choice. A good first course, but not explosive. A ribollita, unfortunately, lacked soul.

11/10/2025: Tuscan Vegetables Soup 8 / 10 Interesting taste, and quite refreshing. 😋 Prawns and Zucchini 8 / 10 Simple but simply molto bene. 👌 My fave director Oliver Stone dined here, going by the photos on the wall. The owner even provides disposible toilet seat covers. Where else can you find this kind of - should i say - luxury in a restaurant before? 👍 The boss displayed an old fashioned hospitality aplenty. And I mean old fashioned. 🤷 (you will know what I mean when you meet him).

13/10/2025: As soon as we sat down at the table, the power went out, but the owner handled the situation quite well. We ordered two starters: pappardelle with wild boar and picci with white ragù, both good and plentiful. Then, after just the right amount of time, the tagliata and fillet arrived (delicious). With two glasses of Chianti, we spent less than €40 each. The place is small, but the food is good and the service is fast. We recommend it.

26/09/2025: Spent two days in Gambassi Terme and had two delicious meals there. A lovely, atmospheric restaurant with a fantastic chef and pizza maker. We didn't make reservations either time, but luckily we were able to find a table. Both times, it was busy with both locals and tourists. Perhaps there could have been a few more waiters, but the wait wasn't unpleasant and wasn't too long. The menu is delicious and diverse, and definitely not expensive.

23/09/2025: A prime example of a restaurant seemingly ruined by its own success... on a weekday evening, the owner was serving with just one other person, but he let the place fill up completely. The result: angry customers who had to wait too long for their food, dissatisfied customers because the food wasn't good, customers who walked away laughing because they thought it was a joke, and a grumpy owner who couldn't devote any time or attention to his customers. The food is okay. The wild boar sauce was incredibly salty. The location is nice, and the seating is beautiful and relaxing.

Went for the Florentine steak and our waiter Gigi made sure everyone was happy with how it was cooked , even took up some slices back to the kitchen to cook the meat a little bit more for ones who prefer a higher temperature. Thank you Gigi and to everyone at Bogusto.
