10/12/2025: If you haven't eaten at this restaurant yet, you're definitely missing out on the most unique and extraordinary place to eat just steps from the Vatican. The food is freshly prepared, the service is top-notch, and they always make you feel welcome. Every time we're in Rome, we make sure to stop here for a meal. 29/03/2026: A very good selection of beers – varied and interesting. The service is fantastic – conversation about beers is a pleasure. The food is good – the mini burgers are quite interesting, but so-so. The interior design is very interesting, and the toilet with a bench is a real highlight. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

13/02/2026: You don't need to go to a seaside resort to enjoy excellent seafood. At Locanda Battisti in the center of Caserta, you can enjoy excellent seafood in various ways. The wine list is well-suited for a variety of pairings, from local wines and sparkling wines to national and international selections. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the discreet and competent staff will make you feel at home.

Giuliana, whom I didn't know, but who I had the opportunity to meet for the first time the night I celebrated my birthday at her fantastic restaurant, is a true character: ECCENTRIC, FULL OF LIFE, JOYFUL, CHEERFUL, A COLLECTOR... Because this isn't just a trattoria, but a veritable "museum." Apparently she loves Frieda Calo, but not only that. You can find endless memorabilia salvaged from flea markets, antique shops, or who knows where. Seeing is believing!!! I wonder how she manages to keep everything so tidy and perfectly clean. It's an experience we should all have, a visit, or even more than one, to this place! Let's talk about the food (and the VERY FAIR price?!!!). The menu is set, but it's like à la carte, with the advantage that everything is included: water, service charge, wine, dessert, and coffee. You won't find dishes like this anywhere else at these prices! The selection is truly extensive, and the dishes are traditional, cooked to perfection and served without a wait. The atmosphere is cheerful. The birthday cake is a mille-feuille, and as she enters the room, Giuliana arrives with a cowbell ringing to announce the arrival of the dessert and congratulations. Truly, everything was perfect! I'm so happy to have been able to dine and celebrate in such a unique setting!

22/03/2026: As soon as you enter, you realize you're in a unique place. If it weren't for the beautifully set tables, you'd think you were in a convenience store. Giuliana welcomes you as if she's known you forever, and her eccentric attire fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the place. The large tables encourage guests to get to know each other. The staff is efficient and friendly. The food is quality, the price is fixed, and the menu is varied. The place is always busy, and to make a reservation, you need to plan ahead and arm yourself with patience. I'll definitely return to Giuliana, especially because Bergamo is worth a second visit.

01/04/2026: My wife and son and I were in the beautiful city of Matera last week, and right below our B&B, we decided, at the recommendation of many locals, to try this excellent restaurant. We started with the traditional peperoni cruschi, then moved on to the excellent orecchiette with mushrooms and sausage and a traditional soup. But the real masterpiece was the dish that gives the restaurant its name: the Pignata. A pan covered in oven-baked bread containing tender and delicious sheep cooked for 18 hours with potatoes and carrots. We finished with a delicious, crunchy and bitter dessert. 18/03/2026: A hidden treasure inside Mercato delle Erbe. Also places tables right outside, for those who can't stand a slightly heavy fish smell from the market. From carpaccio to salad and fried dishes, there is a feast of flavors with fresh ingredients (probably from the market). Extremely well cooked and tasteful dishes. Not to mention also a very good treat of salty and vinegary fish fillet with avocado. As always the stuff was very polite, quick and professional. The only blemish i want to mention is the charge of 2 € for taped water. Of course not for the money - because the prices are very reasonable - but for the mentality of most Italian restaurants. You must visit this or similar places, to become a part of Bolognese culture.

28/02/2026: A lovely little seafood restaurant right in the main square of Castro Marina. Excellent dishes are selected from a simple yet substantial and high-quality menu. Good wine selection. Attentive and attentive service. A very pleasant location both in winter and summer with outdoor seating. Reasonable prices. Parking is a bit difficult, but not impossible.

15/03/2026: If you’re looking for a spot in Venice that feels authentic without the "tourist trap" prices, this is it. The Bruschetta is a must-start. I tried the Carbonara; it’s very traditional and rich (definitely for egg lovers!), and the pasta was perfectly firm. Good vibes and even better value! No picture for the Carbonara, ate that quick!
