Overall, one of the best restaurants in the area. From appetizers to main courses, side dishes, and desserts, everything is balanced to perfection. The plating is also beautiful. Definitely recommended, whether you're looking for an alternative to Tuscan cuisine or simply want to go somewhere different.

We've been in love for years. Discovered it by chance over 10 years ago. Delicious food, incredibly friendly staff, and there's even a grocery store attached. Every now and then, we travel from Liguria specifically to eat there and enjoy Montecatini center and Montecatini Alta, which is a little further away.

What a discovery! The restaurant is a bit small, but really cute. We ate deliciously and will gladly return. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Recommended dishes: pelmeni and the delicious honey cake!

La Cantinetta

24/04/2026: Anyone visiting Pistoia should definitely go to La Cantinetta. Everything is perfect: a beautifully curated food and wine list, a cozy atmosphere, and, most importantly, impeccable service. The friendliness and expertise are second to none. The same goes for the food: the risotto was perfect, the filetta di manzo outstanding, and the pizza was also very good. We ate there three times, and it was always incredibly delicious. The value for money is excellent. Many thanks to the staff who made this possible and gave us three wonderful evenings!

11/05/2026: Honorable mention goes to the risotto. Amazing. The rest of the dinner was pretty average by comparison. Considering the elegance of the room with its beautiful round tables, it was a shame to dine at a tiny square table with one side propped up against a divider, which didn't even allow for freedom of movement.
03/05/2026: An elegant restaurant in a classic style with white tablecloths and good service. The scampi and gambero Rossi were very small, nothing really worth eating (even though I'm a big fan and connoisseur), the oysters were okay. The fish for the second course was delicious. The dining room smelled strongly of cooking, as if you were sitting in a kitchen rather than a restaurant. Overall, not bad.
