Today I went to the Garden Restaurant to celebrate a birthday, and, as always, it was a confirmation. It's once again the best place in Pergusa for hospitality: kindness and friendliness are the hallmarks. A reliable go-to for any special occasion.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Everything was impeccable, from the dishes to the food and the kindness of the waiters and owners.

I was there a few days ago for a dance evening. I noticed they've tastefully renovated and spruced up the main reception hall. Between dances, we enjoyed delicious asparagus risotto and paccheri with wild fennel sauce. For our second course, we were served lacerto with mashed potatoes and baked potatoes. Finally, a cake was served, especially for the dance event. I highly recommend it; the staff was friendly and helpful.

More than a restaurant, I'd call it a restaurant. In fact, there was another reception at the same time as us. However, despite the presence of at least 100 people, there was no interference between one reception and the other. I can't complain about the food either, although no single dish stood out for any particular reason, except for the boiled octopus in a simple but delicious oil and parsley sauce. Even among the desserts, nothing in particular stood out, except for the ricotta cannoli, which tasted of vanilla, so it stood out negatively. However, for me, desserts aren't as important as savory dishes.

We were warmly welcomed. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. They were attentive to our food intolerances. Highly recommended.
