14/12/2025: Everything was wonderful. All the staff were warm, friendly, and impeccably polite. The room was clean, tidy, and cozy, equipped with basic amenities such as slippers, toothbrushes, and a kettle, and the balcony offered a stunning view. Breakfast was served in allocated portions, which I found perfectly reasonable and well organized. Cortina is truly a fantastic city.

10/12/2025: My visit to this restaurant was really disappointing. I was surprised at the beginning that they charge €5 just to sit down, which is a lot considering the way the restaurant operates. Another annoyance was that they automatically brought us pastries that we didn't even order - and charged us €15 for them, even though we didn't even touch them. As for the food, the selection was small and overall not much. For these prices, I would expect much better service and quality. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

19/08/2025: Great setting to a lovely meal which was carefully curated and super flavourful. The waves accompanying the scrumptious meal were a real delight. Hard to book but we finally managed to get a table and it was well worth it. Thanks to the staff for the attentive service and to the chef for an amazing experience. Menu is not long but great selections. We should be back soon as the courgettes and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Thank you

14/07/2025: I loved both the beautiful location and the restaurant. The food was excellent, the service excellent. I was very satisfied. Furthermore, at the end of dinner we were able to visit the museum with the remains of an ancient Roman imperial villa located beneath the building. Wonderful!

12/11/2025: Good place...on my way, let's have a coffee and a sandwich

04/11/2025: I decide to stop for a coffee and a glass of water. When I entered, there were three people drinking at the counter, so I positioned myself behind it and waited my turn. Shortly afterward, a woman comes in and sits at a table. She's served immediately, so as soon as a seat becomes available at the counter, I step forward to order, but I'm still ignored until I'm served a coffee. I point out that I still have to order, but a coffee and a glass of water are fine, so the barista prepares and serves me a coffee as requested, but the water goes to the two customers at the counter next to me. I wait for the glass of water, but I realize I'm wasting my time and I learn that I wasn't a welcome customer, since the other customers at the counter had a simple coffee like me, but with water added, except that I had asked for it. I won't be returning due to the terrible service.

15/12/2025: Awful. Expensive and the worst meal of my life. I absolutely do not recommend it. Awful. Pasta with ketchup? Seriously… And they gave us a supposed seafood dish from the lake, but it was a frozen fish head that tasted terrible. The worst in Italy.

22/08/2025: Thursday's aperitif and 1 free drink deal was excellent... Food and drinks 🔝! The only flaw is that if the place closes at 9 PM, shouldn't the staff start sending people away at 8:26 PM? That didn't seem polite at all... At least at 8:50 PM you can start politely asking to leave the table... But not before that! The guy told us at 8:26 PM they'd be closing in 10 minutes... ABSURD.

20/11/2025: An intimate atmosphere, almost a secret treat, with traditional cuisine but with a contemporary feel. Family-run. The atmosphere makes for a serene yet elegant yet unpretentious treat. Even the staff are part of this special place, a hidden gem.

18/11/2025: My dad and I went to this restaurant on a November afternoon. All the other restaurants in the area were closed due to the off-season, so we decided to try this one, simply because it was open. We travel frequently and have tried many different restaurants and cuisines, and this is honestly one of the worst we've ever been to. The man working there insisted the food was fresh, as if we couldn't tell the difference. Everything was completely bland. The raw salmon tasted like it had been defrosted after sitting in the freezer for too long. No amount of salt or pepper could cover the unmistakable aftertaste of low-quality ingredients. They even said they would close for the season in a few days and were out of stock on most of the menu items—so it's no surprise they weren't investing in fresh ingredients for their final days of opening. Every single thing we ordered ranged from unpalatable to completely flavorless to bitter. But nothing was as bitter as the waiter's attitude. He was incredibly rude. When we went to pay, he handed us the bill without even looking at us—no words, no glances, not even the slightest gesture of kindness or respect. A truly cheerful guy who definitely enhanced the experience. Don't set foot in this place unless your standards are really, really low.

10/10/2025: Best pizza in Malcesine! I had the mascarpone e crudo pizza! It was fantastically good and huge! The service was very friendly. I'm still dreaming about this pizza and looking forward to my next visit.

06/07/2025: Malga per eccellenza immersa nelle verdi montagne alpe nemes. I proprietari della malga, nonché dell allevamento di bovini, sciolti al pascolo, sono persone estremamente genuine e tipiche della zona. I loro prodotti fatti con le materie a km 0 rendono ogni pasto un godimento per i palati. Da evidenziare lo strudel di ricotta fresca e la polenta pasticciata. Tappa da rifare

30/06/2025: 3€ per una caraffa d'acqua del rubinetto e 1€ per il "supplemento panna" sullo strudel di mele. Queste sono senza dubbio le voci più eclatanti di un listino prezzi da lasciare esterrefatti. Da annotare anche i 17,40€ per una salsiccia (piccola) con un po' di patate senza salse di contorno. Queste, ça va sans dire, erano a pagamento. Ok, i prezzi sono riportati sul menù, pertanto il cliente è correttamente informato prima di ordinare, ma questo non può essere un alibi per giustificare dei prezzi tanto elevati da risultare quasi ridicoli. Neanche il fatto di essere in alta montagna è una scusa plausibile dato che la malga è facilmente raggiungibile dai proprietari attraverso una comoda strada. La stella aggiuntiva è stata data solo ed esclusivamente per l'impagabile scenario panoramico sulle vette dolomitiche circostanti. Consiglio vivamente di portarvi dei panini e di mangiarli sul prato antistante la malga. - - - 3 € für a Karaffl Leitungswasser und 1 € Aufpreis für a Klacksl Obers aufn Apfelstrudl. Des sein wohl de schillerndsten Positionen auf a Preisliste, wo einem schier der Mund offen bleibt. A no zu erwähnen: 17,40 € für a kloane Wurscht mit a bissl Erdapfl – ganz ohne Söß oder irgendwos doazu. De, ça va sans dire, hätt ma extra bezaulen miassn. Freilich, de Preisn stehn auf der Karte, der Gast isch also offiziell informiert, bevor er bestellt – ober des isch lei a schwache Ausred für so übertriebene und beinah lächerliche Preis. A das Argument, dass die Alm auf über 1.500 Meter liegt, zählt nit wirklich, weil sie für die Wirtsleut locker über a gscheite Forststraße erreichbar isch. Der zusätzliche Stern isch lei und ausnahmslos für’s atemberaubende Panorama auf die Dolomiten vergeben wor’n. I leg eich unbedingt z' mitn Brotzeit ho – und essets sie auf der Wiese vor da Alm.

11/10/2025: My wife and I were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Given that there were only four tables (eight people), so very few, we started eating after 45 minutes, namely the appetizers. Before that, they only brought us water and wine, no bread or anything else: how can I drink if I don't have at least something in my stomach? The bread arrived with the appetizer: four small rolls, each different and homemade, which we literally had to share! But bring four each, right?! Then the first course after another half an hour... Basically, from 8:15 when we arrived, we started eating something "substantial" until 10:00 pm, all in very small portions and not at all special! All managed by a single waitress, namely the one who accompanied us to the table, gave us the menus, brought the dishes and charged the bill: all for 220 euros! If I'm going to pay that kind of money, the service time, the quality of the food, and, above all, the food (average, nothing spectacular) must be top-notch. Otherwise, it's a joke, and I'll go to another restaurant, perhaps a Michelin-starred one, where the price is commensurate with the value. Failed (and for the second time out of two!).

11/08/2025: Il locale si trova in centro. Bella la parte esterna fronte retro, stupende le parti interne accoglienti, pulite e le tavole apparecchiate con gusto. Credo di aver mangiato il miglio piatto di pizzoccheri della mia vita, avrei fatto il bis. Dolci meravigliosi! Le porzioni sono buone e l impiattamento stupendo, complimenti alla cucina. Il personale cortese e molto accogliente. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Alla prossima tappa a livigno ci torneremo sicuramente.

09/08/2025: Il ristorante è sempre molto bello e accogliente, con un’atmosfera piacevole che mette a proprio agio. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, pronto a venire incontro alle richieste dei clienti. Purtroppo, però, ho notato che la qualità del cibo non è più quella di una volta, e questo ha reso l’esperienza meno soddisfacente rispetto al passato.
