A very welcoming place, just steps from the Ducal Castle of Crecchio! The sagne coi ceci are excellent, as are the pallotte cace e ove and the pork steak! The owners are very friendly. We had a very pleasant lunch. Considering the taverna is small, I recommend making a reservation! If I were to ever return to Crecchio, I would gladly return here!

We found this restaurant by chance and had a wonderful time. We're a couple, aged 25 and 26. We ordered an appetizer with a mix of truly delicious spicy local cured meats, followed by two first courses, both delicious and plentiful. For our main course, we tried the famous "cacio e ove" meatballs, which exceeded our expectations in terms of both flavor and size (they're larger than most). A special shout out to Mr. Piero, who was very friendly and welcoming, and very open to a friendly chat. We'll definitely be back if we ever pass through this part of Abruzzo again.

Enjoy a lot a lovely dinner at this father-son restaurant. Fresh pasta, a great selection of Italian wines , grilled tasteful lamb chops, ending with a local spirit. Authentic atmosphere, very friendly service.And a very decent price.

Visited Taverna Ducale on May 2, 2022. My son, granddaughter and I were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our meal was beyond excellent. Each course was prepared and presented with great care. From the prosciutto and melon (we ordered it twice) and charcuterie, to the various main courses we had, were amazing. One of the most delightful and memorable meals I have ever had. Five stars... Can't wait to return.

06/07/2026: Excellent pizza, delicious fresh spaghetti with clams, superb peppered mussels, everything very good and fresh. I recommend it.
05/07/2026: I'd say the only flaw is that I ordered a takeout pizza at 8pm. When we arrived, nothing was found, and we waited about 20 minutes. I have to say, despite the time, the pizza was excellent, light and of good quality. The calzone was slightly undercooked. But okay!
