06/11/2025: Keep in mind that the place and the setting are decidedly rustic, but that's precisely the beauty of it, and you have to adapt to it. On the other hand, the appetizers evoke local and homegrown flavors, crafted by expert, time-honored hands. The pizza/pinza is absolutely DELICIOUS, a crunchy fruit of passion and sourdough that doesn't leave a heavy taste. Local compliments, but ALL DESERVED 👏🥓🥩🍕

27/09/2025: We ate here at the end if the season. Very lively atmosphere with large groups of locals which is always a good sign. The food is good, at reasonable prices and the pizzas are large and all dough is made on the premises and cooked in a wood burning oven. Had a lovely evening. I recommend you try this restaurant.

15/09/2025: The culinary offerings are varied but in some cases not exceptional. The quality/price ratio is fair, although it has slightly deteriorated compared to previous years.

01/07/2025: Family place, amazing food, excellent service. Jessica and her partner are warm-hearted, easy-going people. I celebrated my son's baptism there and whenever I can, I always run off to eat there. Congratulations.

16/12/2025: I tried the Toccaferro restaurant with positive expectations, knowing and generally appreciating the chain. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be the worst I've had to date. Upon arrival, we were placed in an extremely noisy and crowded room, mostly occupied by families with children. While we understood the need to manage space, we didn't understand the choice, given that the adjacent room seemed to have free, non-reserved tables, potentially offering a quieter and more socially distanced atmosphere. The overwhelming confusion and the very limited space made the start of the dinner already unpleasant. We hoped to order the handmade arrosticini, but the staff advised against it, claiming they weren't "good" because they were "a few days old." This honesty is commendable, but it raises serious doubts about the freshness of the ingredients offered. Moving on to the other courses: • The cheese and egg balls were good. • The pizzas and focaccias, unfortunately, were not satisfying. The Mortazza Superior, in particular, was extremely poor. Despite the menu photo suggesting a generous filling, the focaccia featured only a minimal, insignificant amount of mortadella. The portion of stracciatella and chopped pistachios was equally meager, a truly unfortunate detail considering the asking price. The Margherita pizza was also pleasant, but remarkably sparse in ingredients. The experience concluded unsatisfyingly with dessert. The pistachio cheesecake had a decidedly unpleasant aftertaste, which we perceived as "soapy." We couldn't determine whether the problem lay in the cheesecake or the cream on top, but the overall flavor was quite concerning. In conclusion, the service and atmosphere were subpar, and unfortunately, the quality and quantity of ingredients in the main courses and dessert did not make up for it, especially considering the value for money. I'm sorry to say, but of the Toccaferro restaurants we tried, this was by far the most disappointing. I hope improvements will be made to the kitchen and table management to ensure a better experience for future customers.

31/07/2025: Como un visitante regular IT o a San Salvo a menudo había escuchado Al Metro muy elogiado por los lugareños, por lo que fue con gran anticipación que cenamos allí. ¡NO decepcioné! Escondido en el área del puerto deportivo, usted es transportado inmediatamente a una obra de diseño minimalista elegante, sentado debajo de un espeso dosel de vides, inmediatamente es consciente de que está a punto de ser tratado con algo muy especial. NO hay duda de que en contraste con el diseño del restaurante, la comida será la que hable, la comida será la estrella del espectáculo. Nos pusimos en manos de los expertos y ellos cumplieron. Cocina innovadora y emocionante, utilizando ingredientes frescos y de origen local se colocaron delicadamente frente a nosotros. Cada curso se convirtió en un tema de discusión y conversación. Lo más destacado para mí fueron los chefs se enfrentan a vongole y el helado de ensalada. Debo mencionar los palitos de pan cuidadosamente hechos que no podía dejar de comer. Este restaurante de gestión familiar es acogedor y emocionante, Antonio y su esposa eran acogedores y muy serviciales. Una necesidad absoluta.

16/07/2025: Mediocre l'accoglienza, mediocre la location e, soprattutto, mediocre il cibo per lo meno per quel che ho potuto provare nel "menù contemporaneo" proposto come percorso. Eccesso di formalismo in sala e un po' di spocchia di troppo. Per me la stella è davvero inspiegabile.

30/09/2025: The interior features walls, tablecloths, and napkins in bold, vibrant colors. The staff is friendly, and the pizza dough was well-risen and cooked well. The toppings were generous, too. A good pizza. Moderately priced.

01/09/2025: Very nice location. Welcoming. Friendly and courteous staff, typical of the Abruzzese. Very good pizzas. We had a great time. It was Sunday evening, it was crowded, and we waited over half an hour, but it was worth it. Highly recommended.

12/08/2025: €15 for a mix of stale fried foods, where everything had been re-fried to the point of being dry and dark in breading. I'm sorry, but it's not worth it; it's a steal for the food they served.

11/08/2025: We found out about it by word of mouth. Simple, friendly, and humble atmosphere. Good quality local cuisine on the menu. Excellent mussels and pasta dishes, even off-menu options if requested in advance. I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: The quality of the products tasted was good (1 single house appetizer, 1 pan-fried broccoli, 1 margherita pizza (to forget), 1 stuffed calzone of average quality)....the bill was not excessive.

22/08/2025: The food is good, especially the pizzas, but it's not clear what time it opens and what time it closes. The opening hours say 10:30am to midnight, but in reality it opens at 12pm and in the afternoon it's closed until 6/6:30pm. I know because I can see it from the beach. When it first opened, it was perfect.

11/12/2025: On our way back from a snowshoe hike, we stopped for lunch at this lovely winery. We had a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, polenta, and a soup that I found delicious. I can't understand the negative comments people have made. The staff was lovely and very kind, and despite the place being packed, they handled everything professionally without any significant delays. In 2025, nothing surprises us anymore; rude and spoiled people are simply unbearable. Thank you so much, guys, see you next time.
