An amazing experience in the heart of Santo Stefano! ​We had dinner at this splendid restaurant and were thrilled. The menu isn't extensive (there are about three appetizers, four or five first courses, and the same number of second courses), but every single dish is carefully crafted and simply amazing. ​We tried several dishes, and each one was better than the last: the giant ravioli with sheep's milk ricotta were exceptional, the fettuccine with saffron and guanciale (ordered by my son) was literally out of this world, and the gnocchi with veal ragù was also excellent. For the second courses, the roast lamb and sausage were cooked to perfection, accompanied by delicious baked potatoes. We finished with an excellent tiramisu. ​What made the difference, beyond the quality of the food, was the welcome. The owner is a truly unique character, extremely kind and affable; Both he and the lady in the dining room stopped to chat with us, making us feel at home. We were even offered an excellent gentian liqueur he made at the end of the meal, a gesture we greatly appreciated. ​In short: exquisite hospitality, a wonderful atmosphere, and top-notch cuisine. I would recommend it to anyone and go back tomorrow.

Delicious dinner, homemade ravioli, roast lamb, blackberry tart... Silvan and Federica are wonderful people, he is a great artist, sculptures. The large wooden sculpture of a woman carved from a single tree trunk at the restaurant entrance is a masterpiece.

We dined at this rustic, charming restaurant in the heart of Santo Stefano a month ago, after a lovely stroll around town. We dined on the beautiful outdoor veranda. The owner is incredibly kind, welcoming, and very friendly; he does everything himself and makes you feel at home. The food was excellent, with special mention for the lasagna, the gnocchi with ragù, and the lentils—out of this world! And then there's Calimera the cat, the restaurant's true mascot: docile, incredibly sweet, and not at all intrusive, absolutely perfect in this setting. Highly recommended!

A folkloristic atmosphere in a village devastated by the earthquake, but truly delightful and rapidly recovering. Fair prices and good food, including cured meats and fresh pasta, all homemade by the owner, who may seem rude and annoyed, but in reality, for me, it's simply in keeping with the environment. Simple things often pay off, and for me, that's definitely the case here. Recommended; don't stop at the negative reviews; try the places yourself and then judge for yourself.
