Excellent menu and delicacies. Impeccable and professional service. Friendly and tidy atmosphere. Among the first courses, I recommend the gnocchi with scampi sauce, presented in a very original way. Highly recommended!

We had dinner last night with many friends. Excellent hot and cold appetizers and some raw fish. The linguine alla marinara was excellent, and to finish, a delicious mixed seafood platter. The staff was very friendly, as was the owner. We'll be back.

01/08/2026: Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea (where they were very kind to find us a seat) and excellent pizzas (including seafood). Highly recommended!!
12/06/2026: It was recommended to me as a gluten-free seafood/pizzeria, but I couldn't find any pizza, fried food, chips, or dessert. The food was good, but the wait time was a bit long.

Ristorante del Lido Peppone e Don Camillo

05/08/2026: I'm giving it 5 stars only because I can't give it 6. This coastal beach, unlike the mountain beaches with higher contours, offers seafood specialties from the Chieti area. The outdoor decor has a D'Annunzio flavor. The host is also very friendly, entertaining guests and offering helpful advice. I recommend it for team-building events, baptisms, or chess club meetings.
23/07/2026: Superb arrosticini, perfectly cooked, truly excellent quality (no unpleasant "bad" flavors, not during dinner but especially the next day 👍 I highly recommend it. Overall, the food is very good, and the dinner service is fast and precise. The quality of the ingredients is very good (the tomatoes on the Caprese focaccia were particularly good and "meaty," probably because they were local tomatoes). The atmosphere [at dinner] was quiet and informal, considering it's a (historic) beach. So, the quality/price ratio is truly advantageous. I wholeheartedly recommend 🙈 to all my followers to try this restaurant at least once. +++++
