19/04/2025: Helpful and familiar staff, excellent beers and wonderful company

17/04/2025: The owners were super kind and polite. The three of us passed by for work and were welcoming. We had the first baked pasta, sausage and mushrooms, really plentiful and then really excellent, something spectacular. As soon as we are in the area again we will definitely recommend it to everyone

20/07/2025: If you like nature, fresh air, and good food, this is the place for you! A secluded spot, cool in the morning and a great temperature from midday onwards. The restaurant is very nice and welcoming, the owners are very kind and attentive, the food is delicious, the fishing is very relaxing, and the catch is delicious. The parking lot is very large and shaded all day. There's even a river for those who want to swim in the very cool water. I recommend a sweatshirt and long pants in the morning, but it's best to bring a change of clothes for the temperature. It's ideal for those who want to relax and get away from it all.

04/07/2025: It is always pleasant to spend an evening at the Osteria dei Girasoli, the food is out of this world, simple and refined in flavors and presentation. The dining room staff and owners are competent, available and disarmingly kind. The location, what can I say....beautiful...we have been frequenting the Girasoli for years and it is always nice to return. Prices are adequate for the quality of the food and wines. We always come back willingly. Highly recommended!

29/08/2025: My fiancé and I spent a night at this wonderful property nestled in the Piacenza countryside. The rooms have retained some original period features and are very romantic. The property has two restaurants, one of which is Michelin-starred. We ate at the latter and it was a wonderful experience. The dishes are beautiful to look at and excellent to the palate. In the courtyard is the Culatello Museum, which they produce. Not far away, they also have a shop where we purchased some traditional products.

30/08/2025: What can I say? A unique place that has spawned imitations within a 100km radius, yet remains inimitable. A delicatessen serving lunch and dinner, featuring cured meats, cheeses, and sauces, with wine in a bowl—no cutlery required. Excellent desserts and local alcoholic digestifs. All immersed in a Verdi-inspired atmosphere, with objects and music. Smiles, friendliness, and quality. Reservations are required.

25/07/2025: I've been going there for several years and it's never disappointed me. Excellent quality at great prices. The last time I ate culaccia, however, I was disappointed because they'd removed all the fat. The waitresses told me that's what customers want now! Disgraceful... like eating Parma ham and/or culatello without the fat. It loses all its sweetness, and purists would be horrified. Tradition dictates fat (aged is excellent). If you eat a balanced daily diet, it's not that fat that's bad for you... Ask for the whole slice!!! And you won't regret it. Enjoy your meal! I forgot, pair it with a glass of Lambrusco, Gutturnio, or Ortrugo.

31/08/2025: Excellent restaurant. From appetizers to first courses. They manage to make even the simple giardiniera we ordered as an appetizer exquisite and completely unconventional. Extremely friendly staff. We'll gladly return.

08/09/2025: A meticulously maintained atmosphere, friendly, smiling staff. Excellent food, carefully prepared dishes. Tastings of culatello of various ages, broth analysis, and golden chicken. Finish with coffee and small pastries. The tour of the cellar was very engaging.

27/06/2025: Ieri abbiamo cenato in questo piccolo locale e abbiamo davvero apprezzato ogni sapore dei piatti preparati con grande cura e l'esterma della gentilezza della signora che gestisce la sala, consigliatissimo!

L'Osteria con lo chef Gianluca coadiuvato dalla moglie Monica e da Lorena ha soddisfatto in pieno le nostre aspettative, facendoci fare una bellissima figura. Locale tranquillo con piatti tradizionali e non, tutti serviti con ottimo gusto. Da consigliare i taglieri ed il risotto alla Verdi. Buon appetito
