09/05/2026: For the food, and I'm talking about meat, the price is excessive. Nothing special. The food is decent. The garden chairs are uncomfortable, as are the tables. There are better options at more reasonable prices. Everything is excessive.
05/05/2026: Parma Rotta is a lovely restaurant in Parma city, I was genuinely looking forward to my dinner experience here but my expectations were not completely met. Overall the service was professional and all, but first of all I didn't particularly like the fact that after I said "I am not drinking wine tonight, I have to drive home" the waiter said to me "but you don't live that far". I mean I could live in the neighbourhood next to this for all that I care, if I'm not drinking I'm not drinking. But I mean I do understand that might've been a misunderstanding and i would say i was not particularly satisfied by the food. I got the Risotto "Riserva San Massimo" ai porri fondenti, gorgonzola ed erba cipollina and the amount of risotto was definitely quite little, not that I was expecting a plate full of risotto but nevertheless that was probably 60 grams of risotto... The most disappointing part was the dessert though. I had 6L'Oscar: il nostro gelato fior di latte accompagnato da salsa al cioccolato e zabaione montato espresso, accompagnato da un croccante di mandorle e mini bigne' farciti con delicata crema diplomatica and well, as you can already tell from the long name, the expectations were high. And not met at all. Honestly I don't understand why, in the other hand, the dessert size was so big. Is it to justify the fact that it's 18€? Because the gelato fior di latte was enough to fill the people. Why not make smaller versions, accessible to customers who are eating alone, and prevent food waste as well? Or at least it would be fair if you specified within the menu's pages that the dessert would be more suited for sharing. Overall I did not like the dessert flavour that much, it was too sweet and not particularly impactful other than the beautiful serving style, but maybe that's only on me so I will not say more. I don't think I would go back, I personally found it to be a little too much pretentious with servings that seem to care more about presentation and less about quantity, flavor balance, nutrition, and fair price while I do confirm the service and the environment were flawless.

10/05/2026: Lunch at Osteria di Fornio A place where you immediately sense attention to detail, elegance without excess, and a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance is exquisite, impeccably clean, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and very professional. They make you feel welcomed naturally, without being forced. The cuisine was truly delightful: the cured meats were simply divine, of the highest quality, served with great care. The selection of dishes was also excellent, and the pairing with the Franciacorta rosé was very interesting. I also greatly appreciated the lightness of the preparations and the overall balance of the food. You can tell when a restaurant has genuine customer care and a genuine passion for the restaurant. A wonderful experience. I will gladly return.

26/04/2026: I had the opportunity to stay in Parma for a few days and dined at 19-28 on two evenings. The kindness and courtesy were truly exquisite. The restaurant-style dishes were delicious and carefully prepared.

28/06/2025: Ristorante molto accogliente ed elegante con personale gentile e discreto. Il culatello (24 e 36 mesi) veramente speciale ( da bis) e tortelli di erbette con burro fuso e parmigiano ottimi così come il dolce Patrizia per completare in dolcezza un ottimo pranzo. Grazie ad Alessandro per la gentilissima accoglienza per un pranzo veramente molto apprezzato da ripetere senza alcun dubbio.

19/05/2026: Nestled in a small hamlet, this culinary treasure is hidden away. La Palta upholds Piacenza's reputation for excellence in the restaurant business. Its Michelin star is well-deserved! The key concepts here are local tradition and simplicity. Dishes generally feature few ingredients, most of which come from the Piacenza area. In some cases, the producers are just 1 or 2 km away! Pasta is this restaurant's signature ingredient. Just looking at the entire tasting menu dedicated to it is enough to understand its importance here. Whether ravioli, tagliolini, tortelli, or whatever, the quality of the ingredients and their cooking are unquestionable! I highly recommend the "You Are in My Hands" tasting menu, which you can see in the photos. The dish that struck me most was "Ravioli between West and East," which, using few ingredients and appearing so simple, overwhelms with its flavors and leaves an indelible memory. Seconds are a must! For my tastes, the best option is to let the excellent sommelier guide you. His selection of local and seemingly simple wines is astonishing, yet they hold their own and sometimes surpass more prestigious bottles. His explanations are perfect and suitable for everyone. You can adjust the number of glasses paired with your meal; for example, you can ask for one per dish, as I did. You can also ask him to surprise you even further, as I did 😄! Off-menu, I also had the honor of trying the "Raviolo di ravioli," a collection of ravioli in progressively aged Parmigiano Reggiano. A maximum of 101 months of aging makes for an unforgettable pleasure! The price is very fair for a Michelin-starred restaurant of this caliber. €120 for the menu, €80 for 8 glasses + cover charge and water, for a total of €220 per person. Compliments to the entire staff for their professionalism and friendliness! Thank you, Isa, for elevating the name of Piacenza with your cuisine!

19/04/2026: I had dinner with my husband at this lovely restaurant. The service was impeccable. Before our main courses, we were served a series of exceptional small appetizers. The pollo uovo was also excellent. The only flaw was my first course, cacio e pepe risotto with fava beans, which I found heavy and the flavor combination wasn't exactly perfect. The pigeon, however, was fantastic. As were the desserts, also on the house. Overall, excellent.
28/03/2026: Usually, when we travel, we rely on traditional restaurants. Today, having lunch on the way home, we happened upon this elegant restaurant serving gourmet dishes. A very professional lady seated us at a table set up near a lovely fireplace. We were offered a selection of small entrees, truly delicious and beautifully presented, with detailed descriptions of the ingredients. One of the guests is practically vegan, and he was fully accommodated. We then ordered first courses and vegetables. All fresh and flavorful ingredients. What can I say... clearly, quality matters, but we were truly satisfied. The portions were small but flavorful and filling. The price was reasonable for the type of restaurant.

20/02/2026: Always a guarantee of quality and service. The menu is rooted in Piacenza's traditions, but you can also indulge in dishes that are a little different, yet still offer excellent balance and flavor. The traditional anolini in brodo are the best! Excellent wine list, both local and regional. The dessert is a surprise: Pears with salted caramel and rosemary, almond financiera, and vanilla ice cream.
15/01/2026: The Caffè Grande in Rivergaro is always a guarantee. The menu is very well-curated and the offerings are always top-notch, both traditional and slightly more diverse. The wine list is excellent. The interior is also very well-maintained and perfectly reflects the restaurant's identity. The quality/price ratio is excellent.

09/05/2026: Dinner for four friends on Friday night: we asked for separate bills, and the owner, visibly annoyed, created a terrible confusion by charging not only more (for the chicken ramen €17 instead of €15), but also mixed dishes and drinks! We pointed this out to him, and his irritated response was: 2 or 3 euros that don't really matter, what's that?! If this is the professionalism of Piacenza's restaurateurs, then we're not doing very well!

09/05/2026: A fantastic place!!! I'm glad my previous place was closed and I discovered this one thanks to Maps. It's not just a restaurant; there are little cabins where you can spend the weekend in total peace, quiet, and tranquility. The staff is friendly and very kind, especially considering the unexpected storm that kept us indoors since we were on our motorcycles. The food is absolutely delicious!!! Too bad I'm on a diet... but we'll definitely be back to try something else. Recommended for all bikers!!! After all the curves, a healthy place to stop and relax.
