13/04/2026: Passing through the region, we were pleasantly surprised by this underrated accommodation. Andrea was incredibly friendly and accommodating on the phone. The hotel's location is ideal if you want to visit Modena (30 minutes from the historic city center) and Maranello (15 minutes by car from the Ferrari Museum) while enjoying quality accommodation in a charming village. Parking is available just a few meters away. Once there, we enjoyed a spacious suite (Tulipano) equipped with a travel cot for our baby. The hotel is dog-friendly and has a delicious restaurant serving local dishes from appetizers to desserts, saving us the hassle of eating out. Throughout our stay, we were pampered by the entire team, who have a genuine sense of hospitality. I highly recommend it!

08/01/2026: A must-visit when in the area, the food is excellent and the friendly atmosphere makes you feel at home. I personally had the tortellini in broth, which were spectacular, and the grilled duck, which was also a real treat. I recommend it to everyone, especially truffle and mushroom lovers (although you can also order dishes without, like mine). The price is excellent for what you get, both in terms of quantity and quality.

06/01/2026: The appetizers, first courses, side dishes, and desserts were spectacular!!! Mushrooms, truffles, tortellini...but the meats were special! Guinea fowl, lamb, tartare, tagliata...everything was top-notch. The ingredients were excellent. We didn't stay overnight, as it wasn't far, but we thought about this beautiful location on a snowy Sunday evening...

30/04/2026: Super positive experience, good, quality products. I'd like to highlight a very cordial incident involving two children who dropped some pizza toppings; they were remade for them without paying.

28/02/2026: The piada is delicious. It would be better if the girls wore gloves, though. I've seen the girl at the cash register take a piada from the fridge with her bare hands, after handling the money to charge me. No way.

01/04/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't have a positive experience. The menu is well-presented, beautiful, and entices you to order everything. But then, when it comes time to order, the surprise... Some dishes aren't always available. Basically, some meat dishes are available every other week. So, you go on a wonderful mental journey, your mouth watering, and then, when it's time to order... what a blow! You have to order something else. No big deal, come on, the menu is so tempting... if I remember correctly, I asked for another meat option, which was accompanied by polenta and porcini mushrooms... but the polenta and porcini mushrooms weren't available. The only other side options were roast potatoes, spinach, and chicory... I don't understand, the photos in the reviews seem enticing, but overall, the other dishes that arrived at our table weren't all that exceptional. In general, while ordering the dishes, there were several complaints about the lack of one thing or another, and considering there were only three tables, they could have paid more attention. I don't know, I'm losing the desire to try going back to places like this.

08/04/2026: A pizzeria with a racist owner, terrible service to non-EU customers, change and pizza thrown away, no smile, but instead a change of attitude towards other customers. Small place, more of a takeout place than a restaurant. The pizza is average. It's obvious the elderly owner is stuck in the last century. I advise you to retire and make way for the young people, the guys inside seem better.

14/12/2025: The pizza is good, but when you call them, they're always rude. It's a shame, because unfortunately, being treated so badly puts you off going there.

The quality of the dishes is exceptional, thanks to the use of quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. All this is made possible by the passion of Chef Carlo and Beatrice, and the professionalism of Mr. Gianfranco and Luciana.

17/04/2026: A place where you're enveloped in flavors and aromas long forgotten. The ingredients used for these truly original dishes are excellent. Various types of bread, all strictly homemade, are offered to pass the time while you wait for your food to cook. We'll be back as soon as we have the chance; highly recommended.

I went with the specific intention of rediscovering the atmosphere of Palermo, and I must say, with complete sincerity, that the experience exceeded all expectations. ​The Atmosphere and the Chef ​The restaurant's true asset is undoubtedly the Chef. It's rare to encounter someone like him: a true "golden man," with rare honesty and availability. His welcome was calm, accommodating, and never intrusive, making me feel immediately at home. He's an exceptional person who puts his heart into what he does, and this humanity is reflected in every detail of the service. ​A Dive into Sferracavallo ​For those, like me, seeking a connection with the Sicilian coast, the call to the restaurants of Sferracavallo was immediate and moving. Sitting at my table, I felt transported directly to the Palermo waterfront. Every course was a thrill: crisp flavors, top-quality ingredients, and a culinary expertise steeped in tradition and the sea. ​The Dishes: Every bite gave me a different thrill. It's not just food, it's a taste memory brought to life. ​The Service: Friendly, attentive, and impeccable, with a pace that allows you to enjoy the evening in complete relaxation. ​Conclusion ​In a world of often carbon-copy restaurants, finding such authentic and humane management is a rare gem. Thank you to the Chef for his hospitality and for taking me on a journey while still sitting at the table. ​We'll definitely see you very soon!

30/11/2025: First-rate dishes and excellent quality products. The chef is truly skilled at combining flavors and textures. A good selection of wines complements all dishes. The atmosphere is warm and refined, and we really appreciated the varied plating and aesthetic decorations of the dishes. Definitely worth repeating.
