08/09/2025: Very nice place, fantastic food, the new managers are very kind, welcoming and very willing to listen and fulfill requests.
21/07/2025: Although the restaurant has a beautiful location, I was disappointed by the fish. I ordered the grilled fish mix, but everything was breaded and unseasoned. The vegetables served with it were raw and also unseasoned, and there was no dressing. This restaurant is only for people who are absolute raw food fans and want to enjoy everything in its purest form, even without salt or pepper. The prices were exorbitant, but the service was top-notch. All in all, this restaurant scores mainly because of its great location, not the food.

Every single person who asks me in the United States where to eat on their next trip to Italy will make this one of their best choices. 10/10/2025: If you're looking for the authentic piadina romagnola, the one half a finger thick as per authentic tradition, then Acqua e Farina is the place to be! But it's not just the base that's exceptional: the flavors are incredibly interesting and anything but ordinary, with a menu that offers a wide selection of sophisticated and delicious combinations. My only tip: thinner piadina rolls and a little more filling! 😉 And the best part is that quality doesn't come cheaply: the price is absolutely reasonable! With crescioni at around €6, excellent value is guaranteed. Thanks to their generous portions, you'll feel truly full at the end of the meal, without the paltry portions. Plus, they're incredibly quick to serve!
09/08/2025: Aside from the mosquitoes, which we have at home too—Cesena is like that—the place provides more bottles of Autan, etc., as well as hand sanitizer. The kiosk has a bathroom. Everything is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly, and after a few visits, they recognize you and call you by name. They also offer Kamut piadina, whole-wheat spelt piadina—not always, but they're always full of takeout orders, and there's a lot of people, but they do so in shifts, so you can sit back and relax under the cool shade of the trees. They also have excellent pizzas. My favorite is the crescione al fricò, truly top-notch. Highly recommended.

16/10/2025: A quiet and refined atmosphere just outside Modena. The gnocco fritto with cured meats is excellent, and the grandmother's tortellini are very good. Don't miss the delicious zuppa inglese. The only minor drawback is that they take a bit long to serve. Soft background music.

18/06/2025: La mia sufficienza per l’esperienza è semplicemente legata a degli imprevisti nel servizio. Azzardata la scelta degli abbinamenti per la degustazione Miseria e nobiltà. Inaccettabile la reazione di uno dei sommelier al problema sollevato riguardo lo stato di conservazione di uno dei vini. Annotazione fatta da un sommelier altrettanto qualificato seduto al mio tavolo. Il ragazzo ha sostituito il vino ma con supponenza ha manifestato il suo disappunto senza assaggiare il vino in questione e dicendo palesemente che non era d’accordo. Mi limito a dare un piccolo consiglio a chi segue la sala: il servizio di un ristorante di così alto livello dovrebbe essere supervisionato da qualcuno con più esperienza. Ammirevole la presenza di tanti giovani ma la gestione di questi inconvenienti non può essere affidata ad un personale così giovane semplicemente perché “acerbo” nel gestire questi inconvenienti. Piccolo consiglio all’architetto che ha curato gli interni: togliamo le tende oscuranti che dopo quasi 5 ore di pranzo con la luce artificiale mandano in tilt il cervello????? Lo chef resta intoccabile.
