18/04/2026: It was my birthday and I reserved it beforehand so we can sit and enjoy this lunch with a nice view, but we came here and me and my mom didn’t want to eat, but my brother wanted to have some pasta. The waiter in a rude manner said no only three people three dishes if it’s not okay we can pay and go. The worst experience in Venice. That was one tall guy in glasses and one host bald guy.

01/11/2025: I find their pizzas excellent and light, with a wide variety of toppings and dough types. Plus, they're always adding new ingredients with different combinations! The owner is very kind and always tries to accommodate your pickup or delivery times! I highly recommend La Stra.

01/11/2025: A good takeout pizzeria serving fine pizzas. The menu is varied, with some unusual flavors. The marinara is excellent: instead of whole garlic, they use garlic-garlic parsley. The burrata, however (taking a fancy approach) wasn't anything special, a bit dry. There was a slight delay with the home delivery, but nothing significant.

15/04/2026: The food (we had sandwiches) was all right. The cappuccinos were very strong. The men's lavatory was so filthy, though, that my husband couldn't bring himself to make use of it. ☹️

13/04/2026: Terrible establishment! Restaurant with unhelpful staff! Misleading advertising on the menu! They offer a set menu that isn't actually available. 27 euros for a second course and a fruit salad with a Coke included! Outrageous price for a self-service restaurant! There's no point in going on! Not recommended!

02/04/2026: Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I really appreciated the kitchen being open late, even during the week. The dishes are carefully prepared and original. Very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended :)

02/01/2026: I know the place well, and we're aware of its reputation for being an extremely good place, but its prices aren't always affordable. With that necessary premise in mind, we go for an aperitivo anyway, where we ask the waitress for two glasses of wine: a classic method and a fruity still white, and the very kind waitress offers to suggest options for us. We serve a Slovenian Chardonnay and an Enrico Serafino Alta Langa classic method. Everything is perfect, except that when we ask for the bill, the Slovenian wine is listed at €4.50, while the second one is €14.50, a price that I honestly consider excessive, considering it's not champagne and that if you buy a bottle privately at the wine shop, it costs €25. We would certainly have appreciated it if the waitress, when she suggested the wine, had shared the cost per glass with us in advance.

03/02/2026: We went for a quick aperitivo and had the classic Aperol spritz and some canapés with cured meats, all delicious. I'll definitely give it a fifth star when I eat something more elaborate. The place is very welcoming, and the owners are very attentive to their customers, which is a real pleasure. There's also a small outdoor area for the summer and spring, with a small vegetable garden that serves as a focal point. We'll be back this spring, perhaps when the outdoor area opens. In the meantime, congratulations to the owners, well done!

09/04/2026: I must give 1 star for the service on arrival and my check in experience. I booked 2 rooms under one reservation under the Marriott app. The reservation was then splited automatically and I received 2 single emails for the 2 room at 110 euro per room. At the front desk they couldn't find my second room and I had to pay an extra 160 euro for a second room. No explanation no apologies. Based on your explanation i did book one deluxe room with no breakfast at 220 euro rate per night that it's impossible. Outrageous. Also I'm a titanium member and not even a recognition of thanks for being one. Disappointed

08/04/2026: I booked just one night for a business trip. I was impressed with the cleanliness and service of the property. The receptionists were truly kind and professional. The bed was really comfortable, and there were no disturbing noises throughout the night.

14/09/2025: I spent €61 for four pizzas and a beer to go. An exorbitant amount, which one would expect to be justified by the quality and attention to detail. Instead, the pizzas were burnt, poorly prepared, and delivered 30 minutes after the agreed-upon time. The only positive note was the beer, which was actually pleasant... but at €17 for a 750ml, I'd say the satisfaction was more of a duty than a merit. Overall, a disappointing experience, lacking a balance between price, quality, and service. Definitely not a place I'll be happy to return to.

Everything arrives on time, without long waits. The beverages are also excellent: the drinks are well-balanced and carefully prepared. The bartender is available, ready to recommend or customize the cocktails based on your tastes, adding a touch of care that makes all the difference. A place that works, without too many pretensions but with substance. Ideal for groups of friends who want to have a good time, eat something delicious, and enjoy a peaceful outdoor aperitif. We'll be happy to return.

23/02/2026: I've been here a few times and waited to write a review, being a good food connoisseur. I have to say that this small, simple place is ideal for a quick bite, offering excellent home cooking. The dishes are few, but all excellent. Today I had a mixed antipasto of cured meats, all excellent, tasty, and particularly good. Then for my first course, I had fusilloni with artichoke cream and crispy, thinly cooked speck—truly a dish for connoisseurs of good home cooking. I drank some good Bardolino wine by the glass. Then, with our coffees, I brought a selection of cookies with pistachio cream, as my guests also asked for seconds. What can I say? I think Mr. Nicola, the owner and chef, is a uniquely charming person with a Venetian dialect. The service was quick and especially attentive to our requests, courtesy of the very kind Elisa. The price was very fair. Congratulations!
