As so often, the beautiful ambiance attracts guests.
In a back courtyard and away from the crowds of the city center, somewhat hidden yet right in the center.
Just stay away from this restaurant. It was abysmal. I've eaten a lot of Italian food, but here both the chef and the waiter fail, and no one takes responsibility for complaints.
The pesto was disgustingly slimy, the ham pizza had a revolting odor, so we barely managed five bites. We didn't take anything with us, but left everything. This "fun" cost us €50. Never again! Definitely stay away!

01/01/2026: I usually always liked this place over the years but since some Italian ladies arrived I don't like it much anymore, rudeness at the maximum, and I'm not speaking only for myself since I saw rudeness towards other customers near me, better if you get rid of these Italian ladies especially the blonde at the cashier. AVAILABILITY ZERO DISAPPOINTMENT AT THE MAXIMUM I won't go back
24/12/2025: Unfortunately, zero stars aren't an option. The food is poor quality, the plating needs a bit of work, the avocado nigiri had fish bones in it, and the rude staff practically threw your plates at you instead of putting them down.
A terrible experience. For the same price, you can find much better options in the area.

30/08/2025: I found this tobacconist's shop truly welcoming, thanks in part to the kindness and helpfulness of the two ladies who run it. To my surprise, in addition to the standard services, I discovered a line dedicated to laundry and purchased a truly spectacular laundry scent! It's the equivalent of a very well-known line but absolutely in no way inferior: used according to the instructions, it leaves laundry smelling wonderful and long-lasting. I highly recommend this product, as does this tobacconist's shop, which always offers something extra.
20/07/2025: The opening hours don't match what's written. They don't always open at that time in the morning. I've found the tobacconist closed many times, and in the evening it's the same. I stopped by at 7 p.m., and everything's closed.

07/12/2025: Very tasty dishes, everything is good, good waiters, I want to note that the ribs with barbecue sauce are very tasty and tender, and the ravioli with potatoes and mushrooms are incredibly tasty, the black pasta is quite tasty and the desserts are perfect, beautiful and tasty
06/12/2025: The quality of the dishes is superb (the potato ravioli 😍). The staff is extremely friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the central area of Venice where the restaurant is located. I recommend it.

27/12/2025: Excellent food, a great value alternative to the island's more sought-after spots. The place could use some updating, but everything else is excellent.
22/12/2025: Returning to Burano is always a wonderful feeling, bringing back memories of my past, and a stop at the restaurant and bar is a must. The fish dishes are always fresh and cooked with love and passion by Roberto and Emiliano (the two brothers), and the professional service of all the bar staff is top-notch. I'll be back as soon as possible.

10/03/2026: I came here to buy a croissant after reading the reviews, but it was sold out, so I bought the pistachio bread on the counter. I can't tell what it tastes like. It's completely tasteless.
More importantly, the female employees sighed and whispered to each other while paying. They're completely incompetent. Never come here again. Majer Bakery is much better, has much better quality, is more friendly, and tastes even better. I highly recommend this place.
I read some reviews mentioning racism among the female employees. They need to be properly educated. It's unpleasant.

The wait was a little long, but it was also a holiday.
The waiters were kind and helpful.
05/04/2026: The atmosphere is simple and easy to find, being close to the main square. The service and atmosphere are welcoming and homey. Everything was excellent, even the food served right up to the cash register.
Advice for next time... be sure to remove a payment method if you don't accept it (I tried Satispay with meal vouchers, as they're accepted on the platform). The owner, I presume, didn't accept them because he couldn't process the invoice. Leave a sign saying they're not accepted.
