18/04/2026: It was my birthday and I reserved it beforehand so we can sit and enjoy this lunch with a nice view, but we came here and me and my mom didn’t want to eat, but my brother wanted to have some pasta. The waiter in a rude manner said no only three people three dishes if it’s not okay we can pay and go. The worst experience in Venice. That was one tall guy in glasses and one host bald guy.

24/02/2026: I ordered spaghetti with clams as per the menu and they served me spaghetti with Atlantic clams. After I pointed this out to her, the waitress (I assume she's the owner) replied that they were clams and that she's from Amalfi, but I'm from Venice and I fish clams and know them well!

30/12/2025: I've been using them for a long time, and in all these years they've never failed. The pizza and ingredients are excellent, with a wide selection and abundant variety. But I wanted to review their service, because while pizzas can cater to personal tastes, service is an objective fact. Their efficiency is incredible: reservations are made via a dedicated app, pizza customization is also available via the app, online payments, POS, or cash on delivery, etc. They're incredibly fast and super PUNCTUAL in delivering pizzas. I'm often amazed by how quickly they deliver, and the staff are always kind and friendly (even in the pouring rain). I can only recommend Happy Pizza to you for enjoying a pizza in the comfort of your own living room. They'll take care of everything. The saying goes, "a pizza never lets you down." I can confirm this for the Happy Pizza staff as well. Well done, well done, well done.

14/07/2025: My wife and I spend several weeks every summer in Venice, and we keep coming back to Ae Oche more than to any other place. This restaurant, run by a great group of kind, friendly, and professional people, is the real deal: a substantial menu with all the Venetian classics carefully prepared (plus excellent pizza), generous portions, very reasonable prices, and great service. But most important is the quality: everything is made fresh, and we'v never had a bad meal. It's excellent, honest, and never pretentious. Tonight we had the Fantasia di pesce appetizer, the grigliata di pesce, a tiramisu, good house wine, and a nice grappa barricata to finish. A perfect meal on a weekday evening. Also try the fish soup and the spaghetti allo scoglio!

01/11/2025: I find their pizzas excellent and light, with a wide variety of toppings and dough types. Plus, they're always adding new ingredients with different combinations! The owner is very kind and always tries to accommodate your pickup or delivery times! I highly recommend La Stra.

01/11/2025: A good takeout pizzeria serving fine pizzas. The menu is varied, with some unusual flavors. The marinara is excellent: instead of whole garlic, they use garlic-garlic parsley. The burrata, however (taking a fancy approach) wasn't anything special, a bit dry. There was a slight delay with the home delivery, but nothing significant.

15/04/2026: The food (we had sandwiches) was all right. The cappuccinos were very strong. The men's lavatory was so filthy, though, that my husband couldn't bring himself to make use of it. ☹️

They offer a set menu that isn't actually available. 27 euros for a second course and a fruit salad with a Coke included! Outrageous price for a self-service restaurant! There's no point in going on! 02/01/2026: I know the place well, and we're aware of its reputation for being an extremely good place, but its prices aren't always affordable. With that necessary premise in mind, we go for an aperitivo anyway, where we ask the waitress for two glasses of wine: a classic method and a fruity still white, and the very kind waitress offers to suggest options for us. We serve a Slovenian Chardonnay and an Enrico Serafino Alta Langa classic method. Everything is perfect, except that when we ask for the bill, the Slovenian wine is listed at €4.50, while the second one is €14.50, a price that I honestly consider excessive, considering it's not champagne and that if you buy a bottle privately at the wine shop, it costs €25. We would certainly have appreciated it if the waitress, when she suggested the wine, had shared the cost per glass with us in advance.
