31/10/2025: Excellent little seafood restaurant nestled in the porticoes of central Mestre... Phenomenal, carefully prepared dishes, a smart-casual atmosphere suitable for both a business lunch and a romantic dinner, and a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely kind owner.
The only downside is that since there's only her and her husband in the kitchen, don't expect fast service: La Scuea is for enjoying a meal, not for a quick sandwich, remember that!
In any case, a highly recommended place!
Oh, and ps: the place is small, so it's best to book in advance!

12/04/2026: Excellent welcoming place, ideal for breakfasts with special brioches and desserts, coffee cappuccinos, aperitifs and cocktails, excellent 🍷 🥂 and good beer 🍻🍺, excellent snack bars, very good club sandwiches in particular, pizza 🍕, artisanal ice cream 👍 quick snacks and much more, all with fantastic service and staff, highly recommended 💯🔝👍

Always fresh and high-quality products, friendly and helpful service even when the place is busy. We're very happy with it, please keep up the good work!

We ordered a children's cake made to our specifications at very short notice, and it was not only beautifully made but also at a very fair price. The sales staff are incredibly friendly, even speak German, and take their time with their customers. You immediately feel welcome here. 😊
We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Forno Raccanelli! 👍✨

They offer a set menu that isn't actually available. 27 euros for a second course and a fruit salad with a Coke included! Outrageous price for a self-service restaurant! There's no point in going on! Not recommended!

17/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our stay. The room had fabric-lined walls all around, even the bathroom door, which seemed to trap moisture and odors and created a strong, musty smell of rancid oil. We had to leave the doors open overnight, which let mosquitoes in because there were no fly screens, making for a very uncomfortable night. We dreaded returning to the room.
Breakfast set was equally underwhelming. The bread seemed stale, the fruit poorly prepared, and the presentation, including finger-marked cheese, was unappealing. The coffee tasted like instant. It is not worth the price.

26/04/2026: Very, very beautiful location, but the price is excessive for what you get. The trio of artichokes is good, but the first courses are absolutely not worth the price. Linguine with calamari and shrimp had no flavor because there was no binding sauce (only 1 shrimp, and not even peeled), tagliatelle with scampi and asparagus with only 1 scampi (tiny).
20/04/2026: I stopped here during my walking tour of Sant'Erasmo Island at Easter.
A nice, cold, medium lager, two mozzarella in carrozza with anchovies, and you're ready to continue the walk.

A simple snack bar, but surprisingly good. Everything was freshly prepared, and the hot dishes were delicious. The toasts, fresh paninis, and fried snacks were especially tasty. Highly recommended for a quick bite.

Simple food, like eating at home, but excellent.
From my experience—meaning lunch breaks during work—I'd recommend it.
PS: For those who work and are short on time, they're also quick.

Riccardo welcomed us with extreme kindness and professionalism, with particular attention to my dad. He was truly a special maître d'! We savored delicious, refined dishes, a real treat for the palate! The ingredients were top-quality! I also thank Ricky for his excellent wine pairing advice! We'll be back! Highly recommended! 06/06/2026: The dishes are truly delicious and rich in flavor, with perfect portions if you're someone who eats 🍽️ just the right amount. I, who usually eat a lot, would have ordered more, hahaha.
The prices 💶 are in line with what you're served, both in terms of quality and taste, and aesthetics.
Very spacious seating and a quiet atmosphere with jazz music in the background🎷
