22/08/2025: Today we decided to celebrate our anniversary with a seafood dinner at a small, renowned restaurant, the Sovrano. It's an intimate and meticulously maintained restaurant. Chef Franco presented us with the day's specials, and they were so extensive and mouthwatering that we struggled to choose. His wife, Alessandra, manages the dining room with care and professionalism. She looked after us impeccably. We chose the red prawn tartare, the swordfish Catalana, and mixed boiled meats as appetizers, all delicious and beautifully plated. Then came the spaghetti with scampi alla busara and a classic spaghetti with veraci. To finish, a dessert of mascarpone cream with amaretti biscuits. The accompanying Sauvignon Blanc was very good. All in all, an excellent experience. Recommended.

19/08/2025: I can only say that this is the restaurant where I made my girlfriend fall in love. And it's still our favorite place. Everything is truly delicious, and the chef's colorful pants are Instagram-worthy 😅😁

13/07/2025: Der Ausflug nach Mazzorbo lohnt sich. Wir haben mittags im Garten am Kanal gesessen und die Zikaden gehört und einen guten Lunch gehabt. Als Vorspeise gab es leckere Cannocchie (Heuschreckenkrebs), danach ein perfektes Risotto (cremig mit Biss). Der gebratene Aal war ebenfalls sehr gut und ist auf den venezianischen Speisekarten sehr selten. Danach ein kurzer Spaziergang und man ist um bunten Burano.

09/07/2025: Le resto est situé à proximité de Burano en traversant un petit pont et une marche d’environ 10 minutes. Plusieurs italiens qui passent en bateaux s’y arrêtent pour manger, ce qui est très bon signe. L’accueil y est chaleureux (en français également). La nourriture est exceptionnelle et les prix sont raisonnables. Un resto à ne pas manquer !

19/10/2025: Popped in for a late lunch, Sunday around 15:00. Friendly staff. We both had a plate of pasta and little calamari. Sadly, they don't open Mon and Tues, so we won't get to try some of the other dishes.

14/09/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant for many years. The owners are warm and very kind. The service is professional. The quality of the food is truly excellent. I don't understand those who complain about the prices in reviews. If you want quality food, you pay for it. But most people want to "eat a lot and spend little." Here at La Lisca, you'll find excellent food, a warm smile, and a well-kept and super-clean environment. Well done guys!

28/09/2025: This welcoming restaurant is the ideal place to enjoy high-quality pizza, thanks to impeccable dough and the freshest ingredients. Surlí offers three types of pizza: Thick Pizza, Pizza in Pala (served on a board with two toppings), and Short Pizza. The only negative I found is the owner's policy regarding ingredients. It's not possible to add additional ingredients to those offered, so as not to "ruin" the flavor of the pizza. However, it is possible to remove ingredients. The staff is always smiling and professional, ready to assist you with courtesy. Although the owner has his own peculiarities, he knows how to recommend excellent beers to pair with the pizzas, further enriching the experience.

11/07/2025: Visitamos Casa Fortuni a finales de marzo por recomendación y fue genial. El restaurante está un poco escondido y no está en la plaza principal, pero vale la pena encontrarlo. El lugar está muy bien decorado y el personal es amable. La comida era estupenda: fresca, sabrosa y algunos platos eran diferentes a lo que habíamos probado antes. La especialidad son los pequeños cangrejos a la parrilla, llamados moeche, definitivamente recomendable. Tuvimos suerte de que fuera temporada. Como entrantes comimos unos calamares pequeños y un tartar de ternera que estaban buenísimos. De postre, por supuesto, tiramisú: jugoso y cremoso, como debe ser. ¡Muy recomendable!

07/07/2025: Sapevo di andare sul sicuro con i piatti di pesce però con mia somma sorpresa ho gustato una delle migliori tagliate di tutti i tempi. Qualche dubbio sui dolci Ottimo il tiramisù anche se fatto con gli oswego e non con il classico savoiardo Ottima anche la cassata Un filino secca la crostata mandorle e gocce di cioccolato...

01/06/2025: I would say a place that is definitely simple but at the same time very special...very nice and pleasant situation.... The staff is kind and helpful, and the food I would say exquisite. 15/09/2025: The place is nice, but small. There's a large garden in front with seating. You can watch the traffic. The service is friendly and speaks English. I ordered an Aperol and it was delicious. However, the tiramisu (a slice for 6 euros) was strange. The bottom sponge cake was warm, while the middle one felt as if it had been frozen. This is the first time I've encountered something like this. Perhaps the tiramisu in a jar for 8 euros would have been a better choice.

14/09/2025: The clerk was kind and smiling. The bar is located in a busy passageway...clean. The coffee wasn't to my liking, the tiramisu was dry, not very moist, not recommended.

25/09/2025: Tasty pizza at an affordable price. A large selection of dishes for under €10. You can also order pizza by the slice. Small beers and cola are €3 each. The only drawback is the additional €3 surcharge per person. And for that reason alone, I'd recommend the competition on the bridge. It's simply cheaper.

06/08/2025: An average place in a quite busy street. Some of the staff was a little irritating. Maybe a bad day. We were having morning coffee and sandwitches. The sandwitches was not bad. Quite a pricey pricey place if you compare the price of coffee and canoli to other places in Venice.

14/09/2025: Highly recommended! As others have already mentioned, the place doesn't look very inviting from the outside; it almost looks like a fast food joint. But since the reviews were very good, we decided to give it a try and just about managed to get a table. The interior is very nice and modern. The staff is very friendly and quick. The prices are more than reasonable, and the selection is extensive. They also have some very unusual pizza options, and I tried one of them (with salmon, avocado, and mango). The food and drinks were excellent—we'll definitely be back when we're in the area!
