Quando posso, con immenso piacere, la colazione è da Edoardo. Pur non essendo un cliente abituale, quando entro nel Suo locale, l'accoglienza e la simpatia aleggiano nell'aria come il profumo del caffè e delle numerose brioches.

28/03/2024: Very difficult to find places like this, anywhere. Quality and ethics of food accompanied by old-fashioned hospitality. The authenticity of the cuisine and the freshness of the raw materials reminded me of lunches at the casoni in Caorle when I was a child. Anyone who doesn't appreciate a place like this should go and eat fried squid on the Grand Canal as well as in Sesto San Giovanni. I tasted the bigoli alla busara, the "frittino", the "grigliatina" (in quotes because the portions were really generous), the creamed cod, the oysters, the panna cotta and the cream with baicoi (not during the same meal) . I recommend everything about this.
18/03/2024: Wonderful tavern, we ate very well! The delicious fish dishes, friendly and kind staff... the historic venue is wonderful. Overall, highly recommended!

Caffe Del Doge

02/04/2024: Nice croissant but rude service
27/03/2024: WOW. This coffee addict needed his fix. We asked an Italian street merchant where to find a local coffee shop in Venice (despite being close to Rialto Bridge). He recommended Caffe del Doge and we are lucky we asked. Super friendly staff and probably the best coffee ever (I ordered TWO double lattes) and wound up buying capsules as well!! After I savored a phenomenal pistachio croissant, our wonderful server Alicia recommended a Pinza sandwich (made by Francesca) and their house made Tiramisu (made by Daniella). We are coming back tomorrow!!!!! What a great example of Venice hospitality.
