06/11/2025: A cozy little Osteria Veneziana-style restaurant. The menu offers a few classic Venetian dishes, but it's complete. I tried a few dishes: the cod was good, but the lagoon fried fish was delicate. I had some doubts about the San Piero, which was beautiful in its presentation but lacked enthusiasm for the fish's flavor. Good wine selection, and the service was neither excellent nor laudable.

07/11/2025: Good pizza, a real shame about the staff, one waitress in particular, very arrogant and know-it-all, zero friendliness, definitely doesn't make you want to come back.

16/10/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ La Tortuga – excellent food and impeccable service! La Tortuga Restaurant is a delightful discovery! The food is truly delicious: carefully prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors that are evident from the first bite. Each course is carefully prepared and served quickly, a sign of perfect organization in the kitchen. The dining room staff truly deserves a special mention: kind, professional, and always smiling waiters, capable of putting every customer at ease. It's rare to find such attentive yet spontaneous service. The bill is also honest and transparent, in line with the quality offered. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and meticulously maintained, perfect for both a dinner with friends and a relaxed lunch. A place you'll always want to return to — La Tortuga is synonymous with quality, courtesy, and authentic flavor! 🍝🍤🍷

02/09/2025: Very tasty, large selection, including vegan options. Prices are okay, cheaper than elsewhere. Crêpe is very good. I paid €4 for Nutella elsewhere, but €5.

21/08/2025: Super delicious, and even gluten-free cones/waffles (for an extra charge). The best salted caramel ice cream I've ever had.

27/11/2025: Osteria della Rivetta is just 500 meters from Venice's most important, yet less-visited, attractions: the Basilica of Santa Maria dei Frari and the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. So, you might as well stop there for a drink and a bite to eat and find yourself in what must be the closest thing to a tapas bar in Venice during the 20th century, since it opened. The place is run by a mother and son who, if you're lucky enough to walk in during a shift change when they're both there, will see them bickering like something out of an Italian soap opera, almost like a parodic ritual. The place is packed with young people from all over the world who have come to study art or whatever else is being studied in Venice, local workers, and tourists and travelers—because, ultimately, it's impossible not to find them in Venice. But the place is good, nice, cheap, and if you greet them in Italian, as is proper in Italy, they'll at least treat you with respect. So learn to say Ciao at least, have a few glasses of very decent demijohn wine with some cicchetti, and be happy. Autumn 2025

19/11/2025: This is a very specific local spot — and depending on what you’re looking for, you might absolutely love it… or you might completely hate it. But if you want to see the real, old-school Venice and have a truly unique experience, this is the place to go. It’s authentic, a bit eccentric, and wonderfully traditional. And a fair warning: from 12:00 to 15:00 mobile phones are strictly forbidden — if you dare take yours out, the owner will happily threaten to toss it into the canal 😍 If you’re looking for something genuine, quirky, and full of character, you’ll appreciate this place. A true slice of Venice.

25/10/2025: This is a hotel restaurant, so be prepared for hotel prices. The food is delicious, but the portions tiny, so I could not give it the highest rating

12/10/2025: This restaurant is part of the Hyatt Centric Hotel and serves excellent food - mainly seafood. Our waitress was very nice and helpful and made us feel welcome and appreciated. We would return despite the high price tag.

03/10/2025: Huge price for no reason!!!! Two coffees and dessert €9.30, they promised to ask! It's not even in season and the cake wasn't Grand, which is not big!! They probably thought we were tourists, but this goes to the consumer association, there are limits to everything!!!!

16/08/2025: Great burgers. Stopped for a bite on the way from Venice to the campsite. The trip was worth it. The staff was really friendly. The seating was comfortable.

16/06/2025: I think the management has changed because the published photos do not represent the current menu. The food is all of excellent quality, the bread is homemade with sourdough and is delicious, the beers are excellent and very particular, the wines are excellent, you absolutely have to try the knife-cut tartare, the homemade roast beef, and the creamed cod. I highly recommend trying this cicchetteria!

12/07/2025: Schöne Atmosphäre, wir hatten einen Tisch ganz vorne beim Fenster und guten Blick in die Einkaufstrasse. Netter Service Essen okay aber zu teuer!
