17/09/2025: Writing this in a spirit of euphoria still sitting at my table at the RistoPub Rossini, after having been served the best onion rings I have ever had, and a “Venice Burger” which honoured the city’s name through its over-the-top three tier culinary spectacle. The spectacular food wouldn't have mattered had it not been served with the attention, care, and smile of the friendly waiting staff who had been as happy as the entire atmosphere of the place. If you need a break from pizzas and pastas (not that that’s the whole spectrum of Italian cuisine), and are reminiscing a bit of the 90s, then, this is your place. It’s somewhat hidden in an alley - and that works, because the patrons here are of a different sort!! Highly recommended!

14/02/2026: I've been to this bar and had a really great time. The guy behind the counter was great: kind, fast, and always smiling. You can tell he's passionate about what he does. The cicchetti are delicious, fresh, and carefully prepared. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

11/11/2025: I tried the all-you-can-eat option for lunch and was quite satisfied. Although there's plenty of parking in the central area of ​​Mestre, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the blue-lined parking (usually paid) is free between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on weekdays. So, it perfectly coincides with lunch hours. That said, the restaurant has a Japanese anime (cartoon character) theme, so it would be more suitable for casual lunches/dinners. Even with the cartoon theme, they've maintained a simple atmosphere without being overly so. The chairs were very comfortable and the tables were well-spaced. The bathrooms were a decent size and clean. The dishes were aesthetically pleasing and had an excellent balance of flavors. The dishes are larger than average, especially the rice/soy noodles. You'll definitely leave feeling full and satisfied. The prices are in line with the competition, so excellent. Very good, I'd go back.

17/03/2026: I had seafood spaghetti! I'm so full, it was delicious! 🤍 The staff were also very kind and spoke to me a lot in Japanese. ☺️

17/03/2026: I had the octopus salad and carbonara! In addition to having a Japanese menu, the staff even spoke Japanese words to us – it was a truly exceptional restaurant. It was delicious!!!

04/04/2026: My wife and I had dinner last night, and we were greeted very kindly. We opted for the traditional menu and didn't regret it; everything was fresh and high-quality. We had a very pleasant evening, thanks in part to the staff and the good food. We felt at home. The service was friendly and professional. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

03/03/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Trattoria Da Gigio. The restaurant is very cozy, with a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. Everything felt authentic and prepared with care. The tiramisu was incredibly delicious — truly one of the best we’ve ever had. We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return.

22/12/2025: We had dinner at this lovely Osteria. The gentleman was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, he made sure that we enjoyed ourselves throughout our dinner. The food was also excellent and we loved Trancio di Tonno (seared tuna) - beautifully rare inside. They also offered us home-made bread that just came out of the oven, which was a big bonus. We would recommend this Osteria to anybody, who shares a passion for good food and appreciates a warm welcome.

03/03/2026: The entrance is well-maintained, with a ramp for wheelchair users or anyone else (the door is heavy, so ask for help 😉). It consists of three very nice rooms. I had a pizza (their signature dish), which was delicious, considering I'm quite a pain in the ass about food. I could have eaten another three or four. The service was very quick, and everyone was really friendly. Yes, I would go back. 😊

17/03/2026: Tuna Steak and pasta vongole were unbelievable. Everything is made in house (Fatto di casa). For dessert get the Millefoglie, you won’t regret it. Unbelievable food 👍

16/03/2026: One of the best restaurants in Venice. We had the spaghetti alle vongole and the tagliatelle with duck ragù, and it was excellent! The place is very pleasant, with a quiet terrace along the water. A less touristy and very peaceful spot.

18/02/2026: Carmel was great. At first we couldn’t find anything we’d like to eat on the dinner menu. Carmel asked about what would make us happy, and made sure we get what we want even if they were off-menu. I ended up having the best artichoke confit dish here!
