A historic restaurant in the center of Venice, with very welcoming, helpful, and friendly staff. Truly excellent food and generous portions; we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Fresh, high-quality ingredients and absolutely fair prices.

We visited this rather basic trattoria. The service was excellent, attentive, and fast. We tried the pasta with clams, which was quite good, and a second course of John Dory. We spent €40, a decent price-quality ratio.

Authentic Italian atmosphere, without the hassle and hassle... The pumpkin ravioli was amazing, the fried calamari was perfect, the breaded tuna pieces served with guacamole were delicious, and the octopus leg with grilled vegetables and polenta was delicious. The house white wine served in a 1-liter carafe for 10 euros was veeeery good! The tiramisu was also delicious! I recommend it! :))

Cozy and quaint, while it’s on the beaten path it’s understated and inviting. No one is trying to drag you off the street, instead they provide hand-written menus on clip boards and deliver great food and great service. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with incredible wait staff who spoke perfect English but instead allowed me to practice my elementary Italian. We saw locals chatting with the wait staff alongside a diverse international clientele. Prices are honest, food is great, and atmosphere is warm and cozy. It was a nice break from the touristic frenzy elsewhere. Highly recommend.

A real discovery! We ate really well: Gigio is an excellent chef and prepares carefully prepared, top-quality dishes!
Top value for money!
Extremely helpful and friendly waiters.
In short, what can I say: when I return to Venice, I'll be a regular!

A very nice little trattoria with fair prices, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere.
Excellent calf's liver and very good baccalà. Very good house white wine (frizzantino).
The focaccia dolce for dessert was also outstanding :)

We arrived without a reservation and were greeted with a big smile. They gave us excellent advice on the food and wine: absolutely delicious and generous portions (starter for two followed by a perfectly cooked steak!!).... Very affordable price considering the quality and freshness of the food: A very pleasant surprise 😊😊😊
