We ate here for lunch and I decided to be adventurous trying local cuisine. I tried the Báccala (fish mouse on polenta) and the Queen scallops in sausage cream. They were tasty and had a nice presentation. We didn’t need a reservation and were seated right away.

One of the best places to eat lunch/dinner in Venice. We went for an early dinner (around 7:40 pm) and it was packed, but they let us wait about 40 minutes and then gave us a table. Anyone would say that having to wait that long is excessive, but it was worth it as it's a place that's VERY unfrequented by tourists (if the locals go, it's usually very good, and we were right). The best pizzas we had in Venice, in a comfortable and warm setting. It was quite noisy, but that's because there was a table of 7 people right behind us; otherwise, I'd describe it as a quiet place. Very friendly at all times. Very good prices, although they do charge a cover charge. If I return to Venice, I'll definitely go back!

Finally!!! After much searching and a string of disappointments, we've finally found a restaurant worthy of the name. Here, you'll eat very well, at reasonable prices, and you'll be treated with care. Grazie mille 🤍🙏🏼

A bit off the beaten tourist track. But that's not a bad thing at all. Octopus in eggplant purée as a starter: very tasty. Two pizzas: solid quality and handmade. House red wine: also perfectly fine. Good value for money. Friendly service, would gladly return.

03/04/2026: A historic restaurant in the center of Venice, with very welcoming, helpful, and friendly staff. Truly excellent food and generous portions; we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Fresh, high-quality ingredients and absolutely fair prices. A pleasant discovery, highly recommended!
02/04/2026: We visited this rather basic trattoria. The service was excellent, attentive, and fast. We tried the pasta with clams, which was quite good, and a second course of John Dory. We spent €40, a decent price-quality ratio. Positive experience.

Osteria La Bottega ai Promessi Sposi

27/10/2025: In the somewhat secluded Rialto area, this small osteria is a pleasant surprise, serving traditional and non-traditional dishes, from appetizers to dessert. The atmosphere is intimate, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are moderate, with generous portions and excellent ingredients. Reservations are recommended. We'll be back.
27/10/2025: I've known this place for years, and every time I'm in Venice, I always try to return. I had the pleasure of bringing my colleagues last Friday, and we were all very satisfied. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was casual yet elegant. Roberto served us with reverence, entertaining us and making us have a great time. Thank you, and see you next time.
