Happened to complete the dinner after having had an aperitif of cicchetti and wine elsewhere, we ate an appetizer (burrata, pistachio and confit cherry tomatoes) and a "La Rosa" pizza (white base with robiola, pistachio, mortadella and confit cherry tomatoes) and we were very satisfied.

Friendly restaurant not far from the Rialto bridge. Great pizza (the specials sounded good too but we had already decided to enjoy pizza on our last evening in venice). Great value too.

After four cities in Italy, I can easily say this was the BEST carbonara I had on the whole trip. What a gem, we randomly stopped here after some adventuring around, and man was it worth it! Fairly affordable, quiet for lunch and amazing food!! Definitely add this stop to your list.

Restaurant déjà visité en 2019. Repas très bon. Serveuse agréable. Endroit atypique pour venise dans une petite ruelle loin du monde et des restaurants surchargés de touristes. Une note de 4 sur 5 au lieu de 5 sur 5 car relativement déçu au moment de l'encaissement, par le patron je pense qui était froid et pas très avenant. Dommage c'est la dernière image que nous avons en sortant d'un restaurant.

03/01/2024: we were looking for places to try in venice and this place was highly suggested so we decided to try it out. you definitely need a reservation as the place is small and really popular; however after eating the food not sure why it’s popular. we started off with the bruschetta and then had a pizza and salad. the bruschetta bread was nice but the tomatoes had no flavor. the salad was nice and healthy and a large portion size. the pizza was a bit disappointing as it was large in size but had little flavor or seasoning. overall the recommendation did not fulfill as it was a disappointing lunch

09/03/2024: Our favorite meal in Venice. It does not feel overwhelmingly fancy, which is exactly the appeal. A mother/son/daughter combination were our servers on the evening we were there, and you could tell they took pride in the menu and in making great recommendations. We took a recommendation on the zucchini fritters for an appetizer, which we never would have gotten otherwise, and they were great. The pasta was incredible, as was the seafood. And the chocolate cake...we almost passed on dessert and that would have been a grave mistake. There are some restaurants in Venice where you can tell they are just tolerating the tourists. This is not one of them. We felt we were being welcomed into someone's kitchen. We will definitely return.
30/10/2023: Excellent in the new location as it was in the old one (across the street). A truly remarkable restaurant with excellent food, service and ambience. I strongly recommend the "fritto misto" which is probably the best you'll ever taste in your life.
