29/03/2025: Authentic tavern in a dated/historical structure, with convenient parking, friendly service, it gave hope at the entrance, crowded with people intent on drinking prosecco and eating cicchetti. The environment consists of 2 rooms, filled with the usual collections (copper pots, table clocks, toy cars, etc.). The dining room was cold (a few degrees more temperature would not have hurt) and poorly lit; unisex bathroom so small that you struggle to enter without stepping on the pee done on the floor by the usual rude people who do not bother to take a step forward). The 2 stars are mainly due to the food, the wine and the price: white wine in a carafe of a mediocrity never found before and I am surprised to have found it in Conegliano; the pasta was ordinary, dry, not mixed with the cold ragù and composed in blocks; cooked vegetables scarce, barely warm and consisting only of ribs; half a shank small and scarce of meat. Kind owners, but when it came to the bill they charged €16 for the menu, while in the telephone reservation they had said €15. In short, I'm sorry to see taverns of the past that probably follow the difficulties of today's era, making it worse. From how we found it and from the experience I have of many other places, I think it's difficult to find worse.

15/03/2025: An evening of emotions and flavours: discovering the great wines of Valpolicella On Friday 14 March I had the pleasure of participating in a truly extraordinary event, organized with care and passion by the Wine Club and held at Il Calice in Chiarano (TV). The protagonist of the evening was the producer Fabio Corsi of the Azienda Agricola Le Marognole, authentic guardian of the winemaking tradition of Valpolicella. With his genuine and respectful approach to the land, Corsi accompanied us on a sensorial journey through his wines, which speak of territory, dedication and authenticity. What made this experience even more intense and engaging was the contribution of the speakers, in particular the Gastronauta Dr. Fabio Guerra, supported with elegance and competence by Professor Vannino Negro. Their synergy was able to expertly intertwine culture, anecdotes, technical notions and a strong communicative ability. Guerra, with his brilliant and engaging style, led the evening with passion and irony, while Professor Negro embellished the story with his profound and refined knowledge, enriching every moment with reflections of great depth. Each course on the menu was perfectly paired with the wines offered: from the Valpolicella Classico to the Ripasso, up to the intense Amarone and the sweet Recioto, each combination was an explosion of harmony between the kitchen and the cellar. All accompanied by dishes with attention to detail, such as the risotto with Amarone and Morlacco or the cheek braised in CBT. In a world where wine is often trivialized, evenings like this remind us of how much culture, storytelling and encounters can be. Sincere congratulations to all the organizers for giving us an experience so rich in taste and content. I can't wait for the next one!

29/03/2025: Nice pub, great food and nice atmosphere! I had a good time, the staff is friendly and the menu has a good variety. I didn't notice it at first because it's on a crossroads, but once I found it it was worth it. I will gladly return!

28/03/2025: The waitress took the order of a vegetable club but I received a classic club the kitchen leaves me wishing they didn't have professional behavior because it's not the first time this has happened to me.

26/01/2025: Siamo stati lì per il compleanno di mio marito, contentissimi.. Personale gentilissimo, locale pulito e moderno, cibo tanto abbondante e gustoso, prezzo eccellente Tutta la famiglia è stata felice della serata trascorsa

20/01/2025: Location molto luminosa, un misto fra rustico e moderno. La pizza non ha un impasto in “stile napoletano” , ma è croccante nel cornicione. Molto buona e saporita, la consiglio. Personalmente sono un amante di un impasto con un’idratazione maggiore ma era davvero buona e ci ritornerò sicuramente. Anche perché il locale era ben allestito. Il servizio molto veloce dal momento dell’ordinazione, però presterei maggiore attenzione al cliente da parte del personale di sala. Un consiglio che posso fornire è di disporre un cartello che faccia capire dove aspettare se si ha già prenotato un tavolo, perché si può creare un po’ di confusione all’ingresso per via della cassa nelle vicinanze.

14/04/2025: We stopped by the day before for a glass of Prosecco and decided to have lunch the next day. And we weren't disappointed. We all ordered a different dish and were able to try four antipasti, three primi, and the skewer. A real treat. So if you're in the area, stop by for a visit. It's worth it.

03/04/2025: What a wonderful and authentic place! We only ate there. The food was very tasty. We had a starter and pasta, both of which were very good. Very nice hostess who helped and advised us. We would definitely recommend it!

23/03/2025: Solo entrare si respira un'atmosfera particolare, provare per credere!Staff strepitoso, in cucina canticchiavano mentre si preparavano per la cena; Kristian disponibile ad ogni richiesta, e ne abbiamo avute tante, la cena impeccabile compresi i piatti vegani: ricercati, curati e buonissimi! Se si vuole celebrare un evento speciale questo è il posto dove sentirsi come a casa e coccolati sotto tutti i punti di vista!

14/03/2025: My low rating does not refer to the place itself, which I particularly like, or to the food, which I have always liked, but rather to the embarrassing treatment suffered this evening. We were charged 12 euros with a practice that seems anything but legal to me. We had booked for the stand up comedy evening for 5 and only 3 of us arrived at the venue and when it came time to pay we were charged the show fees even for the two not present without being notified when booking on the phone, otherwise we would have notified in advance. I specify that the table would have been the same regardless given that in the adjacent identical tables there were from 2 to 6 people per table. Real starving people. We will never return
