Osteria Al Carro In Susegana

Initially, we were a bit overwhelmed by the limited menu, but in the end, we ordered spaghetti with clams (lupino) that wasn't on the menu, which was very good, a very good eggplant parmigiana, some very good mixed cold cuts, and finally a very good apple sorbet. Overall, we had a very good meal.

A rustic/farmhouse-style restaurant in the center of Susegana, the cuisine offers a lovely menu with appetizers and first courses typical of the area, based on seasonal produce. For the main course, there's a good selection of perfectly grilled meats. A good house wine pairs everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are a little above average, but eating in front of the fireplace is priceless.

Osteria Al Carro in the center of Susegana offers authentic Venetian cuisine. The simple, traditional atmosphere features red and white checked tablecloths around a central fireplace that warms chilly evenings. We were welcomed by the owner. The quality and variety of home-style dishes offered were almost a surprise. The fresh green pea cream with scallops was excellent, as was the tagliatelle with morels, almost a rarity. The tender guinea fowl was flavorful and satisfying. The ice cream with raisins soaked in grappa was not only delicious, but also quite unusual. Overall, the dinner experience, positive in terms of flavor, was complemented by the relaxed, family atmosphere.

A typical Venetian osteria, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, rich in antique details, very good food, and friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback, perhaps, is that there's no parking (there's a small parking lot just a minute's walk away).

After paying a visit to Collalto wineshop, you can't miss near by osteria. Good value for money. Giovanni hosted us as his best guests next to the fireplace. Romantic atmosphere, typical fresh food and great wine.

We stumbled upon it by chance and found a very welcoming atmosphere. Giovanni, the waiter, was extremely kind and friendly. The food was excellent. We plan to return as soon as possible. I highly recommend going.

A welcoming place with a beautiful larin in the dining room. Generous portions. Excellent meat. The house red wine is simple, but sincere and delicious. We'll definitely be back.
