06/10/2025: We celebrated a wedding anniversary. The staff was very kind, always available to accommodate our requests. We ate wonderfully; everything was perfect, the ingredients were high-quality and the dishes were well-prepared. We were very satisfied.

21/09/2025: Thanks to Nicola Furly's (not so positive) review about the overly large portions, we booked a nice table!!! And paying a fair amount for large portions is better than paying a lot for ridiculous portions... the fresh pasta and typical Venetian cuisine were delicious, the beef fillet melted in your mouth, and the staff were friendly!!! Food is one of life's pleasures, so it's better to overdo it than to underdo it.

13/09/2025: The portions were truly oversized. There were 3 of us, so we ordered 2 starters and 1 main course, enough for 6 people. Frankly, for what I ate, it wasn't that fantastic. At least let them know that you're generous with the portions, because there really wasn't enough room for a main course.

02/10/2025: What a discovery!! We chose it by chance, not being local, and it was a wonderful discovery. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The price was fair for the quality of the food served. Highly recommended.

16/10/2025: Intrigued by the name, I went to eat at this trattoria with two friends and it was a pleasant surprise. The cured meats and cheeses were excellent, the bigoli al tastasale was superb with generous sauce, and the obligatory mopping up of the bread was a must. Good prices. We had a pleasant chat with the owners, Silvia and Ivana. Recommended.

06/10/2025: Excellent dinner in the Navigli area. We ordered the three-course tasting menu. Truly delicious, with well-balanced and beautifully presented dishes. The service was truly attentive! The owner's hospitality and kindness were the icing on the cake. 😊 Well done! 👍

29/09/2025: We often return when we pass through Padua. We always order the blind tasting menu, and the chef's skill is truly masterful. You can see the research and careful consideration of the ingredients and pairings. It's a confirmation every time.

08/09/2025: Excellent pizza, friendly and fast service. I've posted the entire menu so you can see the prices, which I find fair. For two people, a beer, a soft drink, and two pizzas, it cost less than €19 each (I'm including a photo of the receipt). I'm also including a photo of the front page of the menu, given one review that described them as insulting. Personally, I find them fair. The table next to us spent a lot of time on a video call yelling at each other. I wish the waiters would enforce point 4 on that page. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back if we have the opportunity. P.S. We didn't order desserts because they were too full, but they looked great!

06/09/2025: Wonderful evening at Ai Portici! I started with pieces of fried pizza to dip in two bowls: one with tomato sauce and one with yellow cherry tomato sauce... Spectacular!!! The fried polenta was also delicious and tasty! And finally, delicious pizzas, beautiful to look at, rich in toppings and made with high-quality ingredients! The girls in the dining room were incredibly kind and friendly! The atmosphere was modern, elegant, yet warm and welcoming, with style! Congratulations on everything, a truly delightful discovery! I'll definitely be back, especially to try the desserts! 😋

12/10/2025: For our wedding anniversary, we chose "Aubergine" thanks to the website's recommendations. Without reservations, we were able to secure a table in the evening. The welcome was friendly. The setting is very pleasant. The tables are spaced apart. You feel comfortable there. We appreciated the glass of prosecco served as an aperitif. We ate very well, dishes that you don't necessarily find in other restaurants. It was when we wanted dessert that things became more complicated. The menu is exclusively in Italian, a language we don't speak. (I speak four other fluent languages.) With the help of the slightly older waitress, we made our choice of dessert, which we enjoyed like the rest of our meal. Thank you again to her for her kindness. The chef had given up on courtesy towards us by making it clear that he wasn't looking for tourists as customers. Fellow tourists, if you want to taste the delicious cuisine of "Aubergine", please speak Italian or use an online translator.

14/09/2025: The best pistachio ice cream I've ever tried and probably the best ice cream shop we've ever been to. 🍦 The chocolate and peanut ice cream was also a discovery. We stopped by here every day we were in Padua. The ice cream was creamy and delicious. Highly recommended.

01/09/2025: We went on a Wednesday evening and there were a maximum of 7 or 8 customers. The atmosphere was a bit too casual for our tastes. The place is nice, but not very big. It would have been better if it had been a nice evening and there were tables outside. The food was good, however, but the steak wasn't very tender, rather it was rare. We honestly won't be back, but it's worth a try. Maybe we just had a bad night.
