14/10/2025: Had dinner on Saturday evening, a plate of cured meats and ravioli, everything was excellent. The person was very kind.

06/09/2025: Everything was excellent, authentic, and plentiful. Kudos to Andrea and the staff. I really appreciated the vegetarian options.

04/10/2025: Simply the best bar, spectacular sandwiches, cocktails from a 40th-floor sky bar, and staff more welcoming than your mom when you return from a seven-month trip. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, like a mountain cabin, with its wood and warm lighting, making it feel like you're at a caravan park. You couldn't ask for more.

24/07/2025: Wandering around Belluno, we discovered this wine shop: the friendly staff welcomed us and served us expertly. The decor is a mix of styles that have little, if anything, in common; the effect is very evocative and well-executed. The wine and the toothpicks are delicious.

20/09/2025: Terrible experience. Let's get one thing straight: it's not a refuge, but rather a restaurant and who knows what else touristy. I arrive on Saturday, September 20th, after a challenging hike of over 4km. I see the parking lot is moderately crowded and say, "Okay." But no, the answer is, "We're closed." But closed what? A refuge? I ask, "But what about a coffee?" The Emperor of the Universe's answer is, "No, that's not possible." Outside, there's also a distraught couple, an elderly mother and her elderly son, who give me a look of sympathy, and who I'm sure have received the same treatment, even before me. I leave, suggesting to the waiter that he replace the "refuge" with "restaurant," which is much more appropriate.

20/09/2025: September 20th, we passed by for a walk with the intention of stopping for lunch after checking on Google to see if it was open and trying to call without an answer, once we arrived we found the door locked and we were denied access and the possibility of consuming food saying that the structure was closed, claiming that we should have informed ourselves better.

25/10/2025: We stopped in one evening for lunch; the pasta and gnocchi were delicious, and the tiramisu was excellent! Fast service, but there aren't any opening hours on Google, so we went in a bit blindly; we didn't know if it was open. We wanted to go back later in the week, and it wasn't, which was a shame!

17/09/2025: Bad welcome to start with. Vegetable gnocchi with local cheeses? We seriously need to change cheese shops. I couldn't even finish the plate, it was so flavorless! Very expensive! €15 for 8 pasta dishes. Simply tourist thievery! A disgrace.

22/09/2025: A spectacular refuge on the road to the Piave River Springs from Cima Sappada, easily accessible by car. Delicious traditional dishes; we ordered tagliatelle with venison ragù and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, as a main course, along with the ever-present frico. Highly recommended.

18/09/2025: Worth a stop after a day of trekking in Val Sesis. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is lovely with outdoor seating. There's a running fountain next to the refuge.

26/09/2025: 🍽️ A memorable lunch at Ristorante Tobolo in Candide Four of us had lunch at Ristorante Tobolo, and the experience was truly excellent. The Casunziei and the Spezzatino were simply exquisite: carefully prepared, tasty, and perfectly balanced dishes that showcase local tradition with authenticity and passion. The service was impeccable: kindness, friendliness, and attentiveness accompanied us throughout the meal, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. A place that combines authentic flavors and a warm welcome.

26/09/2025: Today I ate the best casunziei in the world (obviously after my mom's ❤️). Thin pasta, creamy filling, and a killer sauce. So good we had seconds! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

06/09/2025: We ordered a Cimbrian dish, which included a side of sauerkraut and polenta. We politely asked if a spoonful of beans could be substituted for the polenta. No problem, they replied. "Okay." We received the Cimbrian dish and some beans with onion on the side. We immediately told them that it wasn't supposed to be a side dish other than the beans, but just a variation on the dish instead of the polenta. They told us not to worry. "Okay." They told me that they didn't have tagliatelle with chanterelles on the menu, and since it's in season and we're in the mountains, I ordered that dish. What I received was about 70 grams of overcooked tagliatelle pasta, with a tomato sauce, and about a chanterelle cut into 2-3 tiny pieces that I couldn't even taste, completely covered in the flavor of the tomato sauce. When the time came, sure they'd ask me for the beans on the side (I was expecting them), they listed the Cimbrian dish, the beans, and I immediately stopped her, saying I'd made it clear several times that I only wanted them as a substitution and not as an extra course, so she cancelled it. Instead, she charged me 14 euros for the tagliatelle with tomato sauce (probably to make up for the loss of the mushrooms). It wasn't as if there were any gold nuggets inside, given that the menu offers tagliatelle with venison ragudi for 11 euros. I'm a professional chef and an entrepreneur, so... Never again!!

31/08/2025: Lunch at the end of August, three adults, a lovely, quaint place. We were satisfied with the first courses, second courses, and desserts, all reasonably priced. 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, a second course, a dessert, a coffee, 1/2 liter of house wine, and 2 bottles of water: €79.00 However, it's unclear how they can charge for tap water, even microfiltered, and therefore locally sourced, as stated on the bottle label: €4.00 per liter! (A 0.75-liter bottle: €3.00, to be precise.)

14/10/2025: The mountain hut is very charming inside, but the outdoor terrace is even more pleasant because it offers a beautiful view. The variety of dishes is good, with generous portions. Typical recipes, some surprisingly unusual, are served. Prices are fair, average. It's worth a stop 😉

19/08/2025: Fabulous panoramic terrace. Special caramelized walnut gnocchi. Venison tagliatelle, mmm ni... Very kind young people.

11/11/2025: From November 3rd, another new management!! The service definitely needs improvement. The food is decent, but in my opinion, the previous management had better selection and quality.

11/11/2025: I came here after a very long day travelling through the Dolomites on motorcycle. The restaurant was very cozy and warm. I was greeted by the chef while walking up, and then warmly welcomed by the rest of staff. The food was hearty and revived me after a very intensive day. The staff had a lovely chat with me after my dinner and helped me navigate my route for the next day. Even after the kitchen had closed, they made me some pasta upon request to take home for my early start tomorrow. It’s these kinds of places that really make you feel welcome in the country - I’m very glad I stumbled upon this restaurant. Special shoutout to the chef, he had a great bubbly personality which uplifted my entire night. Grazie di tutto !

30/11/2025: This is my first time here, and I can say the service is excellent and the staff is incredibly friendly. We had the vegetarian tasting menu, and it was delicious.
