Un po’ di chiacchiere con i titolari ,simpatici e disponibili. Un locale diverso dai soliti. Si torna un po’ indietro nel tempo, cucinano con cucina economica a legna . Assolutamente da provare. Braviiiiiii

10/02/2025: The route to reach the Hermitage is well signposted and can be done even by beginners. We enjoyed a walk to rediscover the scent of the forest, the sound of water and find balance. The Hermitage, lovingly preserved, awaits us at the top of Monte Froppa. The managers tell their story, we listened to them sitting around the fireplace savoring fresh hot bread, cured meats, local cheese, homemade desserts. The delicious hot sandwich, the welcoming and refreshing atmosphere. It is possible to gather in the small restored church and then leave and return to the valley. Thanks to the managers who have chosen a welcome that focuses on quality mixed with culture and the true spirit of hospitality at altitude, not "hit and run". Prices online. We will definitely be back.

22/01/2025: We were here for having lunch after hiking. The foods are great but we waited kinda long time although we booked at noon sharp only because they had not open the door yet. Understandable tho because they are small restaurant in this mountain. They do not have menu, so listen carefully on what they have at that day and you can also ask for the cost if you want. If you don't ask about the cost, they won't tell you. We didn't spend much anyway, so the price is fair. The dogs cannot go inside so prepare some nibbles for your dogs while they wait for you outside. The owner provides water for dogs outside.

10/03/2025: The pizza is very good, with good quality ingredients, discreet service with family management. However, sympathy is at home. The place would need an update to bring it up to date. Also recommended for large groups subject to prior reservation

06/04/2025: Truly special artisanal ice cream! Made with tradition handed down from father to son! For me the best is the chocolate based on personal taste, all flavors are obviously excellent. The staff is courteous and friendly and the excellent coffee can also brighten up your days.

Salvatore in the oven and Vittoria in the dining room (and creator of exquisite desserts) are kind and professional "hosts" who pamper guests in terms of palate and hospitality. Polite and trained staff. Clean and modern environment with a beautiful veranda for all seasons with a view of the Piave.

14/03/2025: Although I have always frequented Caviola, I only discovered it a few years ago. Amazing! The restaurant in the valley with the best quality-price ratio. Family atmosphere and excellent food. The menu doesn't offer a huge variety, but what there is is of excellent quality. It is usually only open for lunch and weekend evenings, and it is advisable to book as there are few seats. Highly recommended!
