30/08/2025: We left Zoppé di Cadore for the Rifugio Venezia (trail marker 471). On our way back, we stopped by the mountain hut to buy some traditional products. Drawn by the delicious aromas and excellent reviews, we found one of the few unreserved tables (so I recommend booking!) and sampled the mountain hut cuisine. We were speechless. First of all, the ingredients were incredible, the preparation and presentation were excellent. The chef and the cheesemaker (the two brothers of the family that runs the mountain hut) are true professionals. The cheesemaker in particular is very kind, attentive, helpful, friendly, and extremely polite. The chef, a man with golden hands, creates breathtaking combinations in his dishes: agnolotti with pumpkin and amaretti, agnolotti with ossobuco and blueberries, agnolotti with polenta and chanterelle mushrooms with currants. These three dishes alone speak volumes about the research and uniqueness of this mountain hut. Delicious appetizers, from fresh and hard cheeses to cured meats, all made in-house. The first courses, as mentioned, were perfect. For main courses, we chose the boiled meat, another super-good ingredient, cooked exceptionally well (12 hours of low-temperature boiling, sous vide!), and the goat ribs... EXCEPTIONAL! We finished the meal with three coffees and a Sacher torte, also homemade, which was wonderful. We paired our meal with an excellent red wine. The quality/price ratio was unparalleled in this area of ​​Cadore, especially considering the fact that the ingredients are locally sourced. What more can we say? 29/08/2025: Patrick and brother have been incredibly welcoming and their passion for quality food is amazing. They are passionate and knowlegeble of what makes a perfect dish, I was also pleasantly surprised of the creativity of their menu all with local produced products. Strongly suggest a visit, we will be back.

18/01/2026: We folks at Sony came to this delightful location for lunch. The location is definitely a strong point, the service is the restaurant's driving force. The lunch itself was pretty average—sufficient, I dare say—there's not much to say. With dishes served at a certain price, you'd expect a certain excitement in the flavors, which was totally lacking. I didn't smile while eating, but I certainly did when the excellent waiter arrived and served the wine. The only downside was that Shrek came in through the window yelling "get out of my swamp," a mystical, almost irreverent sight that definitely changed our day. 7 out of 10. I'm sure the place was much more enjoyable when it was a tavern.

09/01/2026: We stayed here on the evening of the 31st and had lunch on New Year's Eve. The welcome was excellent, the room was simply but functionally furnished, and it was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was abundant, with all the highest-quality products, almost all homemade. As for lunch, what can I say? A wonderful haute cuisine experience. The amuse bouche and pre-desserts were also highly appreciated. All the staff and owners were friendly and helpful (even with our four-legged friend). Highly recommended!

13/02/2026: Hidden cabin on the slopes, location somewhat inconvenient. It's behind the drag lift. Prices are a bit higher than other cabins. But it's in a very nice location ☺️

07/01/2026: Beautiful, elegant, and comfortable atmosphere. The attention to detail in the bathroom regarding the provision of feminine products and general personal care was appreciated. Everything was very clean. Excellent service; the staff was very friendly and professional. The dishes were excellent, delicious, and well-served. The only negative was the risotto, as we didn't appreciate its cooking and flavor. Overall, an experience worth repeating! Ample parking and a dedicated children's area.

07/01/2026: Warm and welcoming place, excellent food, and great service! We've been there twice in the last year, and both times the food was divine. Plus, it has a lovely outdoor terrace and the prices aren't outrageous. Highly recommended!

27/12/2025: A pleasant discovery! A well-kept restaurant with excellent cuisine, traditional yet high-quality. The desserts are phenomenal and anything but ordinary. Great attention to detail, such as a changing table in the bathroom for the children (I needed it and was very happy with it), and the staff are friendly and helpful.

07/01/2026: I stayed here with my family and found it to be a very welcoming and charming hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were a bit small, but functional, and the view was excellent. The dinner was also amazing.

05/02/2026: A fantastic restaurant for a meal—traditional, quick, beautiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff is lovely. The two-course menu also includes cheese, sausage, salad, wine, water, dessert, coffee, and grappa. Spectacular. We ate there in Belluno on our way back from the Dolomites. 26/12/2025: We went on Christmas Eve after making reservations. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and polite. The atmosphere is warm and familiar. The pizzas are well-topped with quality ingredients and very good. At the waitress's suggestion, I ordered the calzone, and I must say it was amazing!! And the prices were extremely fair. You made us have a wonderful evening and served us truly delicious food! Well done, keep up the good work!
