15/08/2025: Having recently stopped in for a simple aperitif, after staying in this hotel many years ago, I was delighted to find the kindness and hospitality I remembered from the current owners. The establishment, located in the center of town in a perfectly preserved historic building, is very charming.

03/08/2025: Quaint family-owned hotel, we were well looked after and the back garden is very pleasant. The building is by the side of the main road, something to have in mind if you’re a light sleeper, but otherwise well worth the stay.

27/07/2025: It’s a very nice restaurant with great and cheap pasta! I can recommend fettuccine salmonate! The owner is also really nice and you can sit outside in a beautiful street or inside in the authentic restaurant.

10/09/2025: We met the owner while getting lost in the city, the restaurant is thankfully in a small remote plaza, just off the main thoroughfare. And blissfully calm. We promised to return, the owner was so nice and talkative, sharing insights about the local restaurant scene. That’s how we learned that this location is the fish offshoot of its more renowned older brother, focusing on meat. But like fish, so we came back here. We ordered 3 equally good dishes, expertly cooked and plated. First came the vongole, very good rendition, lacked garlic and white wine in my opinion, but right on for the salty, briny taste. Then, the linguine with Sicilian sweet red prawns, we have been dreaming since Sicily 3 years ago, that dish was flawless and should be ordered as the thin fish sauce expertly envelops the linguine. A masterclass of execution here. Finally, the vitello tonnato was made to perfection, tender, a slow steam cooked veal opposed to the tuna mayonnaise. We wish we could order that every week and if it is still on the menu (I do not see it?), it should be ordered. Not a lot of restaurants have this emblematic dish of fine Italian dining. We felt we should indulge in the local Prosecco offering and we were expertly guided through the choices, so not a stretch to say that service was flawless from start to finish. Sign of a great restaurant, the owner stopped by our table at the end and shared a local secret. Again, when you deal with the pros, you get pro hospitality. Overall, for the atmosphere, dining and service, we felt this was an outstanding experience and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The dough is incredibly light, and you can immediately taste it's made with care and risen to perfection: soft on the inside, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and super easy to digest. The ingredients are truly high-quality, fresh, and tasty; you can taste the difference from the first bite. Soft on the inside, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and super easy to digest. 05/09/2025: In a year and a half of living in Monteortone, I'd never noticed this pizzeria in Monterosso. What can I say? It reminded me of the Roman pizza I ate as a child: delicious, thin, crispy, and overflowing from the plate. Plus, spacious tables, comfortable, wide chairs, trees outside, and the hills beyond.

13/07/2025: A welcoming and refined venue, perfect for an evening out of the ordinary. Located just outside Padua, the restaurant offers a modern and pleasant atmosphere. It has a small private parking lot and a few parking spaces right in front, but finding parking in the surrounding area is also easy. The service was friendly and attentive, albeit a bit slow at times—understandable considering it was a Saturday night. The tigelle and gnocco fritto, homemade and served piping hot, are truly delicious. The accompanying sauces are numerous, some particularly inventive and original. The cured meats are also good, although we noticed a certain difference in portions between the cured meat and tartare dishes: while we understand the difference in quality of the raw materials, the quantity of tartare seemed a bit small. The menu is varied and well-structured, with a wide selection. The suggestions for drinks to pair with the dishes were also much appreciated. In short, an excellent experience that left us satisfied: we will definitely be back.

24/08/2025: Excellent value. We ordered three first courses and two second courses: macaroni, gnocchi, and bigoli with duck, as well as two Venetian-style livers. The pasta sauce didn't blend well and was a bit separated. The liver, however, was very flavorful, accompanied by a light polenta, not as heavy as it often is. I usually find polenta a bit heavy, but I was able to finish this one with pleasure. I expected the amount of liver to be small, but instead it was perfectly proportioned to the polenta. I would recommend the bigoli with duck and liver, paired with a full-bodied wine.
