11/11/2025: By far, the best all-around restaurant we visited in Italy. We are so glad we came upon this restaurant and would fly back to Italy just to enjoy their brunch again! The staff were incredibly kind and personable, patient with our attempts to order in Italian though we also easily spoke with them in English as well. We had brunch here two days while in Verona and ordered the same meals because they were so good we needed to taste them again! It is walking distance from the city centre and well worth it for the quality of the food and pastries they offer. Best cappuccino I had while in Italy, my husband’s favourite was their smoothie bowl. A hidden gem and a must-try during your trip to Verona.

The only downside is that the staff was too quick to clear the table. It didn't make a good impression.

The prices are absolutely reasonable.
The good Sessa who wrote the last review should understand that if you're poor, you should go to the sushi place 4 kilometers away and stuff yourself with frozen fish...
This is not a place for rude and ill-mannered people.

Pasta al ragù per il bambino con all’interno un filo di metallo probabilmente lasciato da qualche spugna usata per lavare le pentole, visto ad occhio nudo appena portato il piatto. Tagliatelle con spezzato di manzo immangiabili, l’unico gusto che si sentiva era il rosmarino. Pasta scotta. Gnocchi al ragu’ d’anatra dove il ragù in realtà era mantecato. Petto d’anatra dove l’unico gusto che si sentiva era la salsa che sovrastava qualsiasi altro sapore.
110 euro in 3 per aver mangiato in modo terribile.

14/07/2025: We stayed at this agriturismo for only two nights, but everything was top-notch. The location is perfect for visiting the parks, the rooms, and the breakfast were all fantastic. The owners were welcoming and discreet, the food was excellent, and we'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

17/04/2026: We stopped at this restaurant by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. The place is beautifully decorated, the service excellent, with detailed explanations of the cuts of meat, and the quality is top notch. Above all, the value for money was excellent.
12/04/2026: The meat was very good; we had a tasting of the ribeye steaks. The waiters were also friendly. Overall, I recommend trying this place.

08/03/2026: The atmosphere is intimate and informal, almost family-like, with tables well spaced apart and efficient, attentive service. The mixed boiled and roast meats are certainly one of the best in the area, accompanied by delicious pears. The sauces and side dishes are also excellent. In short, I recommend it to anyone looking for traditional Veronese fare (even though the owners appear to be originally from Mantua).

27/02/2026: In Rovigo for work, we were recommended the Taverna Dante 1963, a historic restaurant in the city center. Its menu features seafood and meat dishes, reflecting the Polesine tradition. It's well-presented, very tasty, and served impeccably. The quality/price ratio is also excellent.

Lovely setting under the arcades with seating on the steps, a very pleasant atmosphere.
Definitely recommended; we've returned several times to escape the hustle and bustle of the old town. It's still very easy to reach and offers a lovely view.
