In Rovigo for work, we were recommended the Taverna Dante 1963, a historic restaurant in the city center. Its menu features seafood and meat dishes, reflecting the Polesine tradition. It's well-presented, very tasty, and served impeccably. The quality/price ratio is also excellent.

A historic trattoria serving traditional dishes, beautifully prepared and brimming with the flavors of yesteryear. Everything is delicious, but the bigoli in salsa and the penne with puntarelle and shrimp are truly exquisite. The service is friendly and attentive. Excellent value for money. The house wine is good.

A historic restaurant in the center of Rovigo, serving traditional Venetian dishes from both seafood and meat. We were particularly impressed by the simple yet divinely prepared first courses: bigoli in a mouth-watering sauce and pasta with seared chicory and spicy shrimp... oh, how delicious! The staff was truly courteous, smiling, and attentive.

The service, friendliness, and food are exceptional. I've been there for lunch and dinner several times in recent days. I'll gladly return if I ever find myself in Rovigo again. Highly recommended and definitely worth a try.

The atmosphere is comfortable but a bit noisy due to the large crowd. The service is impeccable and fairly quick. The food is tasty, home-style, although a slice of polenta with three slices of grilled salami is a bit small. I'd definitely go back.

Warm, welcoming, excellent service. I haven't tried the pasta dishes, but they make a good Venetian-style liver.
There's a wide selection of desserts; I recommend the sweet potato pie with pine nuts. The Raboso wine is good, especially when enjoyed at room temperature.
Overall, a great place for a relaxing lunch or dinner.
Better to book, otherwise you risk not getting a seat.

I arrived at 2:00 PM without a reservation; the place was still crowded, so they set up a table for me right away. I ordered, and 10 minutes later, they served my appetizer, followed by an excellent first course... very good and professional. I ate very well. The price was reasonable.

The experience was a bit lukewarm; from 1936 to today, tradition has faded somewhat; more attention to detail, which sometimes makes you wonder whether to return or change!
