02/06/2025: Historic family-run pastry shop, which I have known since I was a child, all the birthday cakes and special occasions are always made by them. Excellent products and also very good pastries.

15/07/2025: I'm sure we went to this trattoria on a bad night. There were only two waiters and they were struggling to keep pace even though there were quite a few spare tables. The result was slow service that really detracted from the overall meal. The waiters worked hard but they were struggling and we almost had to stop them as they dashed to the kitchen so we could get bread, olive oil, drinks and actually place an order. When it arrived the food was very good. My ravioli was well balanced and tasted lovely. My tuna was cooked well if not that exciting. I would be tempted to try I Masenini again but not on a Monday. However given the large selection of excellent restaurants in Verona it would not be at the top of my list.

30/06/2025: The food and service were excellent, with incredible pasta, Italian prosciutto, and the waiters, especially Dionigi, were superb. At the end, they offered us a delicious lemoncello.

28/06/2025: We had pasta that was handmade and honestly it was amazing. You could really taste the difference in the quality and care that went into it. The salad had such a unique flavor too—definitely not your average side dish. What stood out most to me is how much they clearly care about their food. Everything is made by them, and it shows in the flavor and presentation. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Favorite: Ravioli di animelle alla zafferano, linguine alle vongole, & fritto misto!

17/05/2025: Found the place by chance, we booked at the last minute and found a place. Place on the road, but with a small free parking lot outside as it is not in the center. Almost no welcome, when we entered they did not ask us if we wanted a table or if we had already booked and at the entrance one of the two girls did not even say hello. €3.50 cover charge, but on the table you will not find breadsticks or bread. We ordered water and a beer (€8.50 x 33cl) and they brought us a glass only for the water and one only for the beer that we had to share.. Little things that with these prices you ignore. No one explained the menu to us, which we couldn't understand... and when they explained it to us, even later, it wasn't very clear... The pizzas start from €14 and up for a margherita and from €22 more or less for all the others, I think they are all gourmet pizzas... with special ingredients, but you won't find the most requested or normal ones. Overall the dough seemed good, thick as we like it, unfortunately my pizza was wet inside and since it has such a thin interior it had melted. My boyfriend's pizza overall he liked it and it wasn't wet. Since they don't have much toppings, €24 for a pizza seems a lot to us. Menu consisting of only pizzas or a starting choice of bruschetta for €15 with 3 bruschettas. There weren't many tables and the service was fast. In the end they didn't ask if we wanted anything else and when paying they didn't offer anything. The beer was good We spent too much (€63), but we'll try

15/06/2025: It was the first time I had dinner at this restaurant for a birthday and I must say I was very satisfied. The pizza was very good, excellent ingredients and perfect cooking. The service was very good, the staff is really very friendly. Welcoming location

14/05/2025: Here we need to tell a short story but a story 🤣 we were in Ronchi di Campanile, a hamlet of Villa Franca, it was 9:00 pm and there was no one open to eat, we called various restaurants in Mestrino, a 40 minute walk away "not having a car" and they were the only ones to give us availability even though when we called they were out of order at 10:00 pm. Now I really have to say it "maremma buhaiola, the best 40 minutes on foot spent in our life. A very nice place between modern and a bit vintage, reminiscent of the classic trattoria of the past where you could eat exceptional food in large portions like when you went to eat at your grandmother's. A divine appetizer where we were brought as an entrance then offered by the house a homemade bread cooked in a wood oven and then grilled with the old red crouton, the tomato seasoned and boiled like once upon a time and then the exceptional appetizer of cured meats and cheeses; two first courses, one more fantastic than the other, first of all homemade gnocchi like the one the grandma and two on the spectacular, one prawns and asparagus a sublime combination, the other a real hare ragù simply orgasmic. I must say once again maremma buhaiola I tasted a tagliata worthy of being called tagliata al rara with a cooking very similar to that of Tuscany is truly special; the other second was the Red tripe also very well done as once with some very good polenta and I'm telling you this as someone who doesn't like polenta much then there was the dessert a crumble that really crumbles in your mouth. We must add a simple service as if you were at home as you really are your mother or grandma would come to ask you what you wanted straight cooked on the spot. A unique experience those 40 minutes They were all worth it recommended as a place to go even if you have to travel miles on purpose to go there 💋😍

27/05/2025: The place is on two floors, ground and first, clean and tidy. The staff is always polite and helpful. There is a wide selection of classic, white and seasonal pizzas. It is a thin pizza, so this peculiarity must be appreciated.

28/06/2025: Carbonara without taste, I had difficulty finishing it, probably the seasoning is little compared to the pasta (or vice versa). I even found a piece of eggshell inside. It's a shame, because they also call themselves spaghetti and mine was the only choice without a fish-based sauce. We were not issued a receipt.

01/07/2025: For an upscale semi traditional dinner, this is the place. Friendly and competent service with slight English language barrier. Delicious appetizers and snacks offered by the house. Food was truly outstanding, the cook deserves a reward for being able to create such a tasty and visually appealing dishes. We decided to come also the next day.
