17/09/2025: Old and they don't specify that they only make pizza on certain days

02/09/2025: I ordered takeout pizzas and they got half the ingredients wrong, and they were also burnt. So I called them back to tell them about it, and the order taker responded, "Listen, you'll get 3 euros the next time you come." That's a really inappropriate response. You can keep the 3 euros 🤣, but I'm sure I'll never order from you again.

The service is excellent; Luana and Sara are knowledgeable and attentive in recommending dishes and matching wines. Dining at Mainor is a unique experience to savor with every bite.

14/08/2025: A pleasant surprise!! We've known the Hotel Calvi for years: Flora and Alfredo make you feel at home! This year we dined at the Mainor restaurant; impeccable service, particularly polite and knowledgeable staff. The four of us had: scallop ceviche, meagre tartare, perfect "scarpetta" (a type of bread) to dip your tortillas in, basil tagliatelle with raw scampi, and aged Parmesan risotto with aged balsamic vinegar. The dishes were prepared with care and skill, but above all, originality and imagination. As for the taste, there's nothing to complain about: a spectacle of flavors that slowly, one by one, unfold in your mouth... I don't usually take photos of dishes, but this strawberry, this dessert, was truly worth it. I won't say anything else so as not to spoil the surprise.

09/07/2025: Pedí lasaña y me trajeron un trozo muy triste que estaba frío, realmente frío, como de la nevera. Me quejé y me lo quitaron por unos minutos y me devolvieron la misma pieza. Sin disculpas del chef ni descuento en la factura, solo precio completo y adiós 😬😁 El personal trabaja en el hotel de al lado durante el día. Por eso lo recomiendan, pero créanme. ¡Vaya a otro lado! No vayas aquí.

09/07/2025: Ordered lasagna and got a very sad piece that was cold, realy cold like from the fridge. Complained and they took it away for a few minutes and the same piece came back. No sorry from the chef or discount on bill, just full price and bye bye 😬😁 The staff works in the hotell next door in day time. Thats why they recomend it, but beleave me. Go elsewhere! Dont go here.

18/08/2025: Ferragosto lunch. We had a wonderful welcome; the staff immediately put us at ease with their kind and polite manners. The space is small but well-kept, and we ate inside due to the heat of the day. The food was average, made with top-quality ingredients. My only disappointment was the wine list, which excluded mid-range wines. Overall, we had a great time; the service was neither too long nor too short, and we really enjoyed the butter creamed as an entrée. From the menu, I chose various cicchetti as an appetizer, paccheri with crumble, and tiramisu.

17/05/2025: If you try their pizza you will never go back, the quality of the raw materials and the wisdom with which they are treated is masterful. All the pizzas are worth trying, keeping an eye on the seasonal proposals!!!

03/09/2025: It was an excellent experience having dinner at Da Fernanda in Silea. Wonderful, delicious and absolutely fresh seafood. We were there in a group of eight and had (among other dishes) Branzino al Sale (heavenly), Fishsoup, Spaghetti alle Vongole, Grigliata di Pesce, phantastic desserts... We felt like having dinner at a friend's place, despite all of us have been there for the very first time. I can highly recommend this restaurant and the place is now in my address book. For sure it isn't the cheapest restaurant in the area but VERY good value for money. Fresh food in a high quality has it's price. We shall return there anytime when back in the area!
