The food was very good, especially the tagliata del falconiere. I would highly recommend it. The service was excellent, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was very cozy.

Beautiful restaurant and very kind people. We are from United States of America and came there our first night. Real italian food so delicious so fresh so warm. Everything is made with love and we would visit again our next trip. Everyone has to come to this restaurant it’s definitely worth it.

A very pleasant and characteristic place, with a lovely atmosphere. We had lunch for two, ordering appetizers, a Galician Florentine steak, wine, water, and coffee, for a total of about €320. The appetizers (a mixed platter for two) and the tartare were overall average. The Galician Florentine steak, on the other hand, was excellent: well-cooked on the inside, but the exterior searing was almost nonexistent and, in my opinion, didn't fully showcase the quality of the meat. The wine selection was excellent, and special praise goes to the sommelier: professional, helpful, and the only person who made us feel truly taken care of during lunch. The least convincing aspect was the service, which seemed inconsistent and rather listless. On one occasion, I even had to get up to find a waiter and ask for bread. I don't expect special attention, but with a bill of this level, I at least expect more attentive and adequate service. Overall, a decent experience, with several positive aspects but also clear room for improvement. Reading the positive reviews and looking at the pictures of other Florentine steaks served, ours was probably a less successful day.

If you want to taste a real risotto, the one at Vecchio Falconiere is unmissable.

Best steakhouse in Padua! I come here often, and every time it lives up to expectations. The quality of the meat is truly excellent: from the appetizers, with excellent sausages and a perfectly prepared tartare, to the true stars of the menu: the tagliata and tomahawk steak. The meat is incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked with great care. The wine list is also excellent, extensive and well-stocked, with labels from every region of Italy, perfect to accompany any dish. Another strong point is the staff: always friendly, professional, and attentive, capable of serving guests throughout the dinner with helpfulness and expertise. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation to all lovers of good meat.

We happened upon it for lunch before leaving for Venice. We had lunch in a delightful outdoor space, dominated by jasmine and its delicate scent, overlooking a small canal. The menu is absolutely not touristy. Beef tartare and hot pork sausage bites, served with crusty bread. Followed by two first courses: an agnolotti stuffed with artichokes, gorgonzola, and egg yolk, and a bigolo with duck ragù and black truffle cream. To drink, an excellent local bottled lager beer, 500ml. A coffee. €53. The value for money and the quality of the food, right in the center of Padua, is incredible. Highly recommended.

I visited recently and was really impressed by the experience. The way they cook the meats on a hot plate is special and gives an excellent result. I tried the Florentine steak, which was extremely soft, juicy and full of flavor. I also highlighted the truffled eggs and the tartare, which were very careful and delicious. The asparagus risotto may not have fully met my high expectations, but it remained quite good and balanced in taste. The service was excellent, polite and friendly, while the prices were completely normal for the quality offered by the restaurant. Overall, a very beautiful gastronomic experience that I would highly recommend.

A quiet and intimate place, it encourages conversation. Excellent ingredients and attentive service. We chose the Florentine steak option, and we had no complaints. A constructive note: it could be specified that, although the menu is for two people, the appetizers are served in single portions. Excellent!
