15/03/2026: A fantastic evening of dinner with friends. Both the food and the courtesy of the owner and staff were excellent. Definitely recommended. The Angus tartare was fantastic, served with various sauces on a truly spectacular platter. Excellent value for money. Kudos to the entire staff.

And I can only add that in every bite of gelato you can taste the heart, the search for the best products, and the passion that goes into making it. 07/04/2026: A lovely bar on the main street in Assisi. The Lord makes the ice creams himself, and they're top-notch. I had the hazelnut and banana versions, and you can taste the texture and flavor. Fair prices and comfortable seating. Visit Assisi and stop by.

27/03/2026: I entered this place because I was drawn to its unique style. I had a really good cappuccino. The owners are truly kind. I went to the bathroom and, a little warily, left my laptop, purse, and phone on the table. They asked me where I was from and said, "We're not in Rome, here in Assisi, nothing gets stolen." These words comforted me greatly, and when I return to Assisi, I will definitely return to this café!

24/11/2025: I came for lunch today with a friend for the second time, and we had a great time once again! The food was excellent, both in presentation and flavor. We really appreciated the helpfulness of the staff and their attention to customers. They were super kind, attentive, and very friendly.

23/11/2025: We were here on a day before a holiday. The wait for a table was practically nonexistent, despite the large crowd for the event (Eurochocolate). They seated us in the corridor leading from the lobby to the dining room, so everyone walked right past us on their way out, but it wasn't too bothersome. We ordered a plate of medallions with wild boar, porcini mushroom, and truffle ragù for €18, including three medallions, a plate of gnocchi with goose ragù (note to the manager: if the dish is served with cheese, it must be specified on the menu), a charcuterie board, a quarter of house wine, and water for €52. I'd say it's a fair price. The wait for the dishes was minimal. Unfortunately, once we got home, we had to throw all our clothes, including our jackets, in the washing machine because we looked like we were done for too. There are definitely better options.

23/06/2026: Definitely the best ice cream in Perugia: the vanilla is just okay, a little too sweet for me, but the "pastry cream" ice cream is amazing. As for the pistachio flavor, it's the best!

28/07/2026: A great hidden gem. Intimate and hidden in a wooded part of a small town in Umbria, this restaurant has a very small menu, and each and every item that we tried was amazing. The vegetables are a must, the pasta (we had pasta with pumpkin and Gorgonzola)is fantastic and our secondo, carpaccio (highly recommend sharing the carpaccio as it was quite large) was delicious and the meat was perfectly tender. The homemade desserts are simple and packed with flavour. This is a new favourite in our neighbourhood and is definitely worth a try and is worth a detour.

01/05/2026: We were given a voucher for a dinner.... When we booked, I advised that we had a newborn baby, and they refused. The staff on the phone was very kind, so I'm complaining to the owners for two reasons. The first is that according to Italian law, this is illegal. The second, which I personally checked, is that on their website, as if I were booking, it says everything except that they don't accept children. At the time of payment, there's a section ("view voucher"). If you pay without seeing the voucher, it doesn't say that children aren't accepted. If you view the voucher, however, it does say so, but no one is forced to view the voucher because it seems to have already been explained well beforehand. I write "see" because, with all that explanation, it's intentionally omitted to be misleading, I think. So, I urge the restaurant owners to clearly and clearly indicate this, because it's not at all pleasant. In any case, after calling back, they refunded our voucher, so other than the lack of clarity, I have nothing else to complain about. I'm writing this long message only to prevent others from repeating this and to urge you to change the site as soon as possible.

19/06/2026: I don't understand how they can keep a business open while construction is underway: dust and debris rise up right where waiters are passing by with their dishes, a situation that almost certainly causes contamination. Is this a legal situation? The lack of professionalism is already evident here. The food was okay, nothing to complain about, just adequate for the price. I sincerely advise you not to stay here and to walk a few steps further to find restaurants worth your money.

06/06/2026: The atmosphere is beyond reproach, in front of you is the fountain and the cathedral. I must say the service was very attentive and the staff were friendly, the chocolate tasting was much appreciated.
