01/03/2026: Highly recommended! Very fair price and excellent quality. Torta di testo was well-filled, perhaps a little softer would be better, but crispy enough. Reasonably quick service, a "spartan" restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's a must-try in Perugia, otherwise you can't say you've been to this city.

12/04/2026: A timeless dream retreat. Very good dinner with a very attentive maitre d'. Breakfast not excellent; they could do better.

14/01/2026: I thought about it for a long time before writing this review. In the end, I decided that the experience my family and I had last Christmas Eve at this 'relais' was unacceptable for too many reasons. Nothing to say about the place. It's a historic building. Probably leased by a public entity to private individuals who should quickly change their profession. What's truly appalling is the restaurant. Not up to par, the establishment's 'chef' readily forgets the basic rules of cooking and will make you laugh out loud (assuming you're someone who takes things lightly). Unsalted fish, poorly cooked rice unsuitable for risotto, frozen cod, overcooked paccheri, and sour tomato sauce; this was served to us, nonchalantly and with a scowl like Barbieri on MasterChef. Okay, it can happen. You go somewhere and eat badly, that's fine, cross it out and leave. But no, it's not over. I swear, it felt like a candid camera. The waiter Antonio, and I mention him because he insisted on being called that and using the informal "tu" with us, technically harassed us all evening. Compliments, unsolicited confidences, jokes to my mother about her being with "such handsome guys" (my brothers-in-law and I were totally shocked), physical contact, and an intrusiveness unlike Trump's with Venezuela. With every course, we were all embarrassed, wondering what he was going to do next. He even followed us as we went to smoke: "Guys, you're making me walk sooooooooooo." And off he went, twirling too close, bordering on frotteur-esque rubbing with a triple Axel. Now, I say: Do you understand where you are and what you do for a living? I don't think so.

30/01/2026: Excellent gluten-free pinsa, and the supplì and fried mozzarella balls are also noteworthy.

24/01/2026: I went for lunch with a group of 50 people. The waiters and the owner were very kind. They gave us seconds when we asked, even though we had the fixed price. The appetizers, fried food, and the first course were delicious, all plentiful. 😀

22/03/2026: I had a risotto with Sagrantino and it was a disappointment. It arrived after 5 minutes, and was definitely precooked and made with parboleid rice (rice used for rice salads, not risottos). My husband's cod wasn't great either... We didn't like it!

14/03/2026: This is my third visit to this place, and unfortunately, I'm forced to drastically change my previous review. Nothing to say about the exquisite food and the location, which has already received positive reviews. Let's talk about the owner, with whom you'll probably—unfortunately—interact during the ordering process. He repeatedly and heavily attacked me because he didn't understand my order. Leaving aside all the details, I really don't believe you should address a customer in such a rude and offensive tone, just as you shouldn't yell at the waitresses. Honestly, I would have left if it hadn't been my daughter's birthday. I definitely won't set foot there again, especially since within a few meters there are equally worthy trattorias, but with decidedly less rude and offensive management. There are capable and eager young people here, but they haven't inherited a family restaurant and are struggling more. It's a shame.

28/12/2025: Searching for information about this restaurant and its offerings, one finds basic descriptions, but one can easily grasp the uniqueness of the ambiance, both inside and out, and the seasonality of the dishes (hence the attention to ingredients) and the inspiration from tradition. In my opinion, "sea and mountains" is the common thread running through the various offerings, where different ingredients and gastronomic cultures (particularly Umbrian and Sicilian cuisine) find a new identity. For my appetizer, I chose brandy-infused shrimp on a leek cream with Jerusalem artichoke chips: three gradual consistencies, three distinct flavors that ultimately blend perfectly. For the main course, seafood orzotto. Using barley, a typical Umbrian grain, in place of the usual rice, yielded an unexpected result.

15/03/2026: A fantastic evening of dinner with friends. Both the food and the courtesy of the owner and staff were excellent. Definitely recommended. The Angus tartare was fantastic, served with various sauces on a truly spectacular platter. Excellent value for money. Kudos to the entire staff.

14/03/2026: I found a Neapolitan pasta dish, well-made. The tomato was perfect, but it's a shame there wasn't much buffalo mozzarella. Unfortunately, they don't make desserts themselves. I was a bit disappointed. They got one wrong, and the babbà wasn't available when they told us it was available. Service was average, but it could be better.

The atmosphere is welcoming, impeccably clean, and meticulously designed, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Special thanks to Tina, the owner, for her professionalism, friendliness, and attentive service. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, helping to make every experience even more enjoyable. A place where it's always a pleasure to return. Highly recommended.

12/09/2025: The restaurant certainly gets a lot of work as it's located within a resort that operates very well. Overall, however, I have to say that the culinary experience didn't entirely satisfy us.

08/09/2025: We booked for two for a special occasion, and arrived around nine o'clock and were greeted warmly. A very friendly and knowledgeable waiter served us at our table. The bread was very good, and the wait for our food wasn't particularly long. We both ordered an appetizer and a first course; I opted for the vegetarian options, which were plentiful. At the end of the meal, we ordered dessert; I had a mini portion of sorbet and another of gelato (I was a bit full); the vanilla gelato was fantastic, and the sorbet had a strong berry flavor. My companion, on the other hand, had brownies accompanied by the aforementioned sorbet, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We left satisfied.
