The location is charming. The burger is excellent. The service is quite fast. It's a shame that the sign says "brewery" and then there's only one place whose name the waitress doesn't even know. There's room for improvement on this front.

Long wait, uncomfortable tables, but definitely a charming location. The pizzas were good and simple, typically Roman, so thin. The burgers were awful, they seemed like they were frozen with supermarket bread.

A quaint restaurant in Perugia's historic center, tastefully decorated and filled with photos that tell the story of Perugia. The platter of traditional Umbrian cured meats and cheeses is excellent. Highly recommended.

We had lunch here on Sunday and were truly satisfied. The food was excellent: carefully prepared, tasty, and beautifully presented. The value for money is absolutely right. The setting is charming, welcoming, and has a soft, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a quiet Sunday lunch. Compliments to all the staff! We'll definitely be back.

Visited on January 15, 2026. The dining room is located in the basement, nice and welcoming. Efficient service and very good food (I had the cured meats and cheese appetizer and the nocchi alla norcina). Average prices.

We ordered a beef cut and they brought us a veal, when it was pointed out they shamelessly lied, so be careful what they bring you, a veal certainly can't cost the same as a beef cut

On Saturday, my partner and I had lunch at this truly enchanting restaurant. Unfortunately, while I was waiting for the wild boar pappardelle (very good), we received a text message saying they were bringing forward our boogie boarding competition, so we didn't have a chance to stay longer. It's a shame we were so far away, because we would have loved to return. Highly recommended.

C'era una volta

19/04/2026: We stopped by chance, during a trip on a beautiful Sunday in April. We arrived after 2:00 PM, wondering if they'd still welcome us (we know that customers arriving after a certain hour can be a bit "tiring" for the kitchens, especially when they order à la carte 😬). But we were warmly welcomed anyway! We were tempted by the rich and succulent Sunday menu offered by the house, but then opted for something lighter. We started with a truly delicious lake appetizer, then tried the pici with perch, which fully satisfied our curiosity, since we didn't even know what they were 😅! I'd say we were satisfied, recommended!
07/04/2026: This is a nice restaurant where you eat very well, the food is of excellent quality. I stopped here on Easter Monday, perhaps because it was a holiday? Perhaps because it was busy or I don't know what, but we came in at 12:30 and left at 3:30. We were two couples. We had two white fish, two chips with sauce, a mixed roast, three steaks, a fried potato, a mixed salad, a green salad, and a grilled vegetable, which we didn't receive. The price, in my opinion, is not the best. For example, a picio with sauce, a small steak, maybe 1.50 grams, it wasn't a grilled vegetable. Wine and water often cost €45 per person. I promised myself I'd try again on a normal day to judge better. Of course, the timing and the price didn't help this restaurant this time, but I still recommend it for good food.
