12/07/2025: A quick stop to write postcards in a bar that seems hidden from everyone. Once inside, a large shaded terrace full of greenery. Lots of young people gather there. We were able to drink a fresh lemonade, a stop full of good humor and tranquility. I recommend it to break up your day of sightseeing and take a real break! 🍋

13/07/2025: The appetizers are a bit sparse, but the ingredients are quality. Very good pizza. Good desserts. The atmosphere is unique; in the summer months, the tables are set out in the garden, with a series of lights illuminating the structure and a few statues. Nothing special, but it creates a nice atmosphere. The prices are a little high.

26/06/2025: I had pizza inside Eataly. It was chewy and tasty, and I liked the casual atmosphere. It seems like a place you can just drop in and eat. First tell them what you want at the pizza counter, and they'll give you a receipt, which you can take to the counter with drinks and cakes and pay for them there. Then you go back to the pizza counter, show them your receipt, and you can get your pizza. The lemonade they had there was really tasty, probably only available at Eataly. But there aren't that many places to sit.

10/05/2025: Very plentiful food and also quite good, the fish/shellfish portion I'm told was notable (I can't eat it), the spaghetti squirts are good but you have to like garlic. Very helpful staff and attentive to requests, simple environment with outdoor seating.

22/06/2025: Nothing to say about the food and prices. We had a reservation. After more than 1 hour from the order some dishes arrived, some ate first and some after. The kitchen and staff are severely undersized compared to the size of the place, especially on Saturdays and on the busiest days it is to be avoided. Parking to be invented!

04/07/2025: Super authentic place, entering you immediately feel the atmosphere of a real bakery and you are welcomed by the friendliness of the lady at the counter. I had breakfast with a typical pan di ramerino and I took away the pan del pescatore and some cantuccio, all excellent.

24/05/2025: Very quaint little cafe where you can get coffee and a good sandwich for a great price. I went there almost every day when in Florence for my morning coffee. The service is always very kind as well ☺️

21/05/2025: Great local corner cafe for a quick coffee drink and light pastry. Had the iced coffee, caffe latte, and un cornetto. The iced coffee was the best iced coffee I have had in a while. The cornetto had a subtly sweet, lemon glaze on it which made it very tasty. Friendly staff and fast service. Limited pastry options, but excellent for a quick morning bite.

16/06/2025: Loved this place! Amazing orange wine and the pistachio lasagna is a must. Mixed meats and beef tartare were delicious too. Service was slow, but totally worth the wait for the food and vibe.

01/06/2025: Bad service, but the food bumped my experience from 2 to 3 stars. Service was slow, inattentive, and a little rude. For example, while we were waiting for a table, I tried to ask the waitress a quick question but was met with an abrupt “I am busy serving other people.” before I got even two words out. Like, what if I was just asking where the restroom was? Not a great way to treat a customer. Anyways, we were left waiting at the bar for a really long time before we gave up on the outdoor seat, then just asked to eat inside. We ate and got served relatively quickly, and the food was great. However, another ding was that we ordered a salad and never received it. But at this point, we were too tired to escalate. Overall; the pasta and wine was good. Service was not.

29/06/2025: We had a reservation at Simbiosi Farm, but the experience was very disappointing. The waitress was rude, unhelpful, and clearly irritated when we asked for assistance with the Italian-only menu. I asked for a tomato-based pasta and clearly said I don’t eat pork for religious reasons. First, I was served a salad instead of pasta. Then, I was given a pasta that contained pork — despite my clear request. When I explained the mistake, the staff blamed me instead of apologizing. This showed a lack of professionalism and respect for dietary needs. Very disappointing service for a place with such a good reputation.

27/06/2025: Really good pizza, the best in Empoli is definitely this one! Exceptional bread, schiacciata, tarts and so on and so forth!! Excellent home-made cuisine!! I recommend it to everyone!!
