12/11/2025: Honestly, I can't justify spending €40 per kilo for mini pastries for average quality. I didn't find anything special...sorry. Reply 11/12/2025 I completely understand the price increases and the value of artisanal work, but I believe the customer's perspective is still important. Prices may be "in line with the area," but it's always the final experience that determines the perception of quality and fairness of the cost. As Henry Ford said, "True progress is when technology is accessible to everyone"—in the same way, I believe the true success of a pastry shop is managing to keep excellence accessible to its customers. 08/11/2025: The first time I came in, I ordered croissants, and I can finally say I've eaten a filled croissant in Florence. The bar is very large and beautiful. I'll definitely be back.

28/06/2026: Our last visit to Florenz / Firenze was already some years ago. At the moment a good friend of mine is there. He asked me for some advice on what to see, to do or where to eat ... preferably off the beaten paths. So I remembered the great views from Piazzale Michelangelo and a bakery (pasticceria) nearby which offers a great variety of delicious pastries and a coffee for a very REASONABLE price. Searching for the place on Google Maps, I found out that, thank goodness, you are still there (and wow: next year will be the 80th anniversary!!!). Good quality pays off. 20/04/2026: I hate to give a negative review because the pizza is delicious, and the various dough variations would be worthy of ten stars. Unfortunately, the place is inhospitable, the sound echoes, and the din of multiple voices fills your ears. It's not pleasant to eat like this. The service is also slow... I suggest changing locations or covering everything with soundproofing.

07/04/2026: Excellent agriturismo located on the foothills of the Chianti mountains overlooking the Valdarno. The outdoor area, nestled among the houses of the small hamlet, is lovely. The appetizers are shared but plentiful, as are the first courses. The rabbit was good. Service was a bit slow. Recommended.

29/06/2026: Absolutely incredible sushi spot in the Campo di Marte area. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared, but the sashimi was on another level, easily some of the best I’ve had. The quality of the fish really stands out from the first bite. The atmosphere made the whole night even better: great food, great friends, and a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. And don’t skip dessert! the coconut mochi was outstanding and the perfect way to finish the meal. Already looking forward to coming back.

07/12/2025: Birthday party. 14 of us arrived, table reserved for 9 PM. We sat down at 10 PM and ordered at 10:10 PM. The pizzas began arriving in threes from 11 PM until 11:30 PM. I can't rate the food because eating a pizza at 11:30 PM is not something you should do. Total bill: €442, €30 per person. It's a shame because the concept behind some of the pizzas could have been interesting. The desserts were excellent.

23/06/2026: Excellent pastry shop. A perfect place for breakfast, especially in spring and summer, as there's plenty of outdoor seating. Delicious cappuccinos, barley cappuccinos, coffees, and barley coffees. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

01/07/2026: As others have noted, the pastries are nice, and there’s a good variety, but the service is severely lacking. The young lady on the register was very polite and professional, however the barista was really rude and made us feel uncomfortable. I understand that the job can be stressful and that having to explain or clarify things which seem obvious to him could be very frustrating, but that is unfortunately part of the job. We did not expect him to wait on us in any capacity, we just expected basic decency and decorum. It was sort of embarrassing for me because I was bringing a friend to the pasticceria specifically because the pastries are reliably good, and it was his last day in Florence. Now he will be leaving with a somewhat negative impression as a result. Don’t go here. There are plenty of pastry shops where the service is proper and the pastries are just as good.

01/07/2026: I went with some friends to this little pastry shop in Florence. Besides the delicious brioches (the almond one was really good), we had three truly fantastic cappuccinos. I haven't had one this frothy in years. The entire staff made us feel at ease and provided excellent service. The place is small but truly meticulously cared for, a little gem that's been there for over 90 years. Well done, and congratulations! We'll definitely be back.
