This was one of our favorite meals from our 2 week trip to Italy. First of all the staff was so passionate about the food and service. They were incredible kind and accommodating. Then the food was amazing. Everyone's dish was incredible but we especially loved the pappardella pasta and Joselito Iberian secreto. 10/10, this is a must in Florence

This restaurant is absolutely perfect. The service is attentive and the servers are knowledgeable about their products. Take their wine recommendation; you won't be disappointed. The pappardelle with ragù is incredible. The chef came to greet us at the end of the evening; everything he makes is delicious, from the fish of the day to the meat and pasta. A wonderful experience!

We absolutely loved our meal at Il Vezzo!! From the moment we walked in the service was welcoming and kind. We started off with a beef tartare then had an off the menu appetizer with lobster! Both dishes were flavorful and presented elegantly. We then had a ravioli and a squid filled button pasta. The ravioli was fresh and light and the squid button pasta was intensely flavorful in the best way! Each dish we had was presented beautifully and had very unique flavor mixtures. 10/10 experience all the way around! Highly recommend! Il Vezza, it’s just something you like!

Wife and I came here with high hopes from the reviews we read and personally I felt let down. The price for the food is quite high for the portions. I got venison for $38 euro and it was 3 pieces the size and thickness of my thumb, 2 asparagus, and a tablespoon of squash. Was it tasty, yes,
Was it worth $38 euro? Absolutely not. It was like an appetizer as my main meal. They brought us a free starter sampler and it came in a huge bowl and when I looked down it was 2 snap peas in a pesto sauce. 2 snap peas lol. There are plenty of amazing restaurants in the area that are far less expensive and much more proper portions. Paid $130 euro to both leave hungry. My personal opinion is that I would look elsewhere.

Everything was great, from the moment we arrived until we left.
The owner and the waitress were very welcoming and friendly.
The service was quick, with no wait.
It's a small restaurant with about thirty seats (a welcome change from tourist traps).
The dishes are well-prepared, and the ingredients are high quality.
A very enjoyable experience.
For dessert, the soufflé was absolutely delicious!

Absolute stunner of a meal. I never leave reviews. I’m fortunate enough to travel frequently and eat at great places. This tiny spot has maybe 10 tables and I would 100% cancel a Michelin star rated reservation for this spot. Two folks ran the entire room, crushed it, our waitress spoke in depth about each plate with knowledge of a seasoned pro. Atmosphere was quaint, relaxed and lively but never disturbing. What a modern spin on classic Tuscan food! New but not pretentious. I can’t say enough about it.$250 for a bottle or brunello, antipasti x2x primi x2, secondi x2 and deserts. Bellisimo.

Wow. Unbelievable experience from start to finish. A thought provoking contemporary menu that still values traditional technique. Our favorite dish was the ravioli sheet with basil and beet.
The service was the best we’ve had in all of Italy, which I remembered the gentlemen’s name. He had such passionate for the food and was so kind. Would definitely recommend a visit!
