12/05/2026: By chance, while walking, I came across this pastry shop. The name Serafini reminded me of a pastry shop I frequent a lot in Florence on Via Gioberti. I was intrigued, and decided to have an aperitivo, but upon entering I found everything and more, so I went straight for an aperitif. The table was really well set, with plenty of food to eat. The girls, one in particular who brought me drinks, gave me a dessert at the end. The gentleman at the cash register did the same, but I had already eaten the cream puff, so I declined. The price is fair, like everywhere else where they do aperitifs, in fact, they're even 2 euros cheaper. The only disappointment is that the place is too small inside and I think it could use a renovation to better capture the customer's attention. Other than that, there's nothing to say. I found the staff friendly and kind...I recommend it. I'll definitely be back.

07/05/2026: I would advise the ladies at the pastry shop, especially the lady at the cash register, to learn the difference between the Italian cornetto, or as they call it "brioche", and the croissant... I won't dwell on the attitude...

13/11/2025: High prices, half a slice of pizza €2.50. The guys after me for two normal slices and a can of pizza cost €8.50. Pizza with plastic mozzarella, tasteless, but the dough was at least edible. Flies were hovering over the pizza slices. If the pizza were reasonably priced and made a little better, it would be the best. But for €2.50, even in the area, I get bigger, better slices.

30/04/2026: A Neapolitan pizzeria where you can savor the flavors of the South. The pizza is excellent, both for the quality of the ingredients and for its lightness. The staff is friendly and helpful.

11/01/2026: Once one of the best low-cost Neapolitan pizzas in Florence. Now, only subpar products, a lack of professionalism, and prices too high for the quality offered. What a shame.

14/12/2025: A FAMILY-friendly environment, obviously a little chaotic, but very well organized, welcoming, full of games, karaoke, and for a warehouse, it's really cute and unique inside!!!! I honestly highly recommend it for a family!!!!!

03/11/2025: We stopped by for a quick dinner and tried their burger. Overall, it was good—the meat was cooked properly, and the bun was soft. Nothing exceptional, but enjoyable nonetheless. The service was quick and the atmosphere simple but elegant. A decent place if you're looking for an unpretentious meal.

29/10/2025: Highly recommended place I stumbled upon it by chance, having booked accommodation nearby. Authentic cuisine and generous portions are the two hallmarks of this restaurant.

27/12/2025: The food wasn't excellent, and given the long wait, my rating is even too high. The service is the only thing I rated slightly higher; the people who brought us our food were very nice, but as I mentioned, the food took a very long time. Outside, there were motorcycles, bicycles, and other items that I assume (since I've always seen them there) belong to the owner.

30/11/2025: This summer, after a boat trip, we stopped here for lunch. Very beautiful, right on the seafront. We had fried anchovies, a mixed salad, and a potato and octopus sandwich. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent; the staff were very nice and helpful. Everything was well-prepared. If we return to Elba, we'll definitely return.

28/09/2025: Summer is slowly leaving us, so let's take advantage of it and go to dinner at Aguglia. A wonderful terrace with a sea view. A fantastic evening, weather-wise. Franciacorta with fried anchovies. Tuna tartare and tuna salad. Linguine with lobster. The service is fast and professional. I'd say we're ready.

12/04/2026: It's fine that they're volunteers, but I can't spend €36 for four pizzas that were oval and small, with a tough crust. Adding sausage costs €1, which ended up being just three tiny pieces scattered across the pizza. Personally, I won't set foot there again, but the people were very kind, and I felt at home.

30/03/2026: The pizza is good. The pasta alla norma is good.

06/04/2026: The pizza is good and crispy, but the fryer is terrible and full of oil. Home delivery is to be avoided. The wait times are long; they're capable of delivering pizzas late at night, even an hour late. The products arrived hot, but 50 minutes late.

06/04/2026: For me, Il Chioschetto is an iconic spot on Elba. Besides the breathtaking view, it's located on one of the few remaining truly authentic and wild beaches on the island, which makes it even more special. Il chioschetto is an extremely relaxing spot, perfect for enjoying the sea and savoring one of the best schiaccine on Elba—perhaps the best ever! A special thanks goes to Patrizia, Mario, Andrea, and the entire team: always smiling, welcoming, and incredibly kind. For us, it's a regular stop every year, and we recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic experience with excellent food overlooking the sea.

08/03/2026: AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I’m sad I could not give this bar 0 stars. The food is mediocre and the service was deplorable. I cannot even give the girl serving the donuts the benefit of the doubt and attribute this experience to a language barrier because I speak fluent Italian and have been living here for years. I asked if the donuts had filling and she cut me with a harsh “yes”, then I had to follow with “chocolate?” and “vanilla?” just to be answered on the same uninterested and very rude tone. She looked annoyed I was even there. I have been visiting and living in Italy for years and I’ve never seen such a rude attitude.

08/03/2026: Terrible service. The staff was extremely rude and clearly annoyed by simple questions about the pastries. The food was mediocre as well. I speak fluent Italian, so this wasn’t a language barrier.

01/05/2026: A nice, soft rosette. During our two-week holiday, we bought our rolls every morning, which were very good. However, the two elderly bakers are unfriendly and don't seem to enjoy their work. Inadequate customer service.

13/04/2026: For me, the best schiacciata is Bertelli's... Without a doubt. I've been to many places, but the bakeries in the city don't even know how to make it.

25/04/2026: Antico Forno Giglio has been a regular stop for years 🥖 flatbread like it used to be. The bread is always delicious, with that instantly recognizable quality: simple, authentic, artisanal. I like to stop here every now and then for a few samples to offer tourists, especially when I pass through the Sant'Ambrogio market area and come this far 🚶‍♀️ One of those places that has stood the test of time and still retains the true flavor of workmanship. There's a line, but just get there early and be patient, chatting even with the stranger next to you, taking your time like the good old days! Highly recommended, thank you! Highly recommended 👍

17/09/2025: I expected better, the person who recommended it to me isn't reliable; so I read the reviews a bit, but the reviews weren't reliable either. Raw pizza for the whole table. Despite the complaints, nothing to compensate. The interior furnishings are quite uncomfortable, especially the chairs. You can even climb on the mirrors. Thinking about just making money doesn't seem like the best solution to me. 👏. I asked myself the question and answer; WILL I GO BACK? NO!
